I could not put this suspenseful, psychological thriller down. _The Teacher_ mostly follows Eve, a married high school math teacher, and Addie, a teenage student coping with trauma and alienation from her fellow classmates. Eve has been warned that Addie could not be trusted, and reiterated the same to her husband, a teacher at the same school. Inappropriate conduct soon occurs, and the twists and turns in this book will leave the reader at least with a feeling of unease, a success for a psychological thriller.

Another fantastic Freida McFadden book! I love how the different parts of the book give you different characters POV. The short chapters that take just a few minutes to read are a great bonus! The book kept me guessing the whole time, even about which teacher the title refers too. The student/teacher relationship is always so fascinating to read, and I loved how different Addie's relationships were with all of the teachers at the school. The epilogue was a fantastic addition to the story, and I'd love for more!

Fantastic book!!! I haven't found a Freida McFadden book yet that I didn't love! She puts so many twists in her books that keep you guessing. Love her! #Theteacher #freidamcfadden #netgalley

🤯🤯🤯Another great book by the master of psychological thrillers, Mrs. Freida McFadden. Having read all her published books it has been a goal of mine to figure out the ending correctly of one of her books. While reading this I so thought I had it figured out and was disappointed in myself for figuring it out. But keeping in true Freida style, I was completely WRONG. Ladies and Gents Freida has done it yet again! 5 stars all around!

Thanks to Netgalley and the publisher for an ARC in exchange for an honest review!
I have to admit, I've been a fan of Freida McFadden for years (way before the recent surge in popularity). This is by far the best book she's ever written in my opinion. It has everything I want in a psychological thriller and more. There were characters that made me angry. There were situations that I did not like and that made me uncomfortable. There were twists throughout this fast paced story, and I'm telling you right now there's no way you're guessing all of them. The epilogue?? Oh boy!
100% hands down her best thriller yet. Go read it! It won't take long because this novel will suck you right in.

I absolutely Devoured this book! Less than 24 hours. It consumed me. It absolutely held my attention. I was totally invested in the characters.
I am putting this in my Top 3 of McFadden Favorites of mine. That's how much I loved it!! 😍
Twists, Turns, Secrets, Betrayal, Murder, Questions! I was on the edge of my seat. And that Epilogue!! 🤯😱
That's all I'm going to reveal. No spoilers. But Trust Me! You NEED to read it!

Just finished reading The Teacher by Freida McFadden.. It was so good! I definitely did not expect the ending. Lots of twists throughout the book. She did it again!
After reading it really think about it because there may be a twist you didnt even realize is there!
Definitely mind blown with this one!
Make sure to pre-order it! The release date is in February!

Not what I expected from Freida at all! Some trigger warnings for sure in this one…my jaw dropped midway though. I read in 24 hours because I had to know what was going to happen. A few mini twists before the big one. Freida is always entertaining and a palate cleanse for me.

Holy forking shirtballs!!! I always go into Freida's books with a healthy expectation of twists and thrills, and this one did not disappoint!! First of all, the short chapters are always welcome, and I just loved the pacing of the story - not too overwhelming or slow. After the first couple of twists, I thought "OK, great twists, I know now where this is going, what else can happen that I'm not expecting?". Well, turns out, A LOT! My god, that last twist but just... I don't even have words!! Love this so much!
Thank you to NetGalley and Poisoned Pen press for the ARC! This was amazing, one of Freida's best and I could not put it down!

Another great and fast read from Frieda McFadden. I swear I always think I know what will happen and then she throws a twist in there that I never saw coming. I will read anything this woman writes and devour her books in a day or two. The ending of this one really threw me!!

Thank you to NetGalley for the advance reader copy of this book. McFadden is a must read for me, so I was thrilled to receive this advance copy. Freida is a fabulous thriller author. The book is full of twists and turns and in true McFadden style the ending is shocking. Loved it!! 5 stars!!

This is the third Freida McFadden book I've read and my favorite so far. An addictive page-turner. Here, the twists and plot points seemed less random than in some of the other books, so they landed much better. Fun vacation/weekend/1-2 sitting read!

Thank you so much for the opportunity to read the ARC!
I think this is by far my favourite Freida! It keeps you hooked from the first to the last page and it's definitely a page turner!
Easy read, full of suspense and the twists!! OMG!
Loved it!
Definitely 5 ⭐

This book was simply addicting. I could not out it down after I started it. Again, you think you know what's happening and you have it figured out and then BAM you get hit with a twist or two. I definitely recommend this book!

I was so glad I had this downloaded to my kindle after being stuck in a doctor's waiting office for 3 hours--I read the entire book in one sitting! It was a very quick read with short chapters ending on a cliffhanger to keep the reader going. There were a couple plot twists that were over the top, but sometimes as I reader I just want a juicy, escapist book, which this definitely was. Plus there were a couple twists in the last few pages that I did not see coming that made the book even more satisfying. I loved it!

One of Freida McFadden’s best works! An intriguing story that I just could not put down. I liked the different points of view and she nailed the mind of a teenager. There were twists I did not see coming!

4 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars! Thank you NetGalley for this ARC! All I can say is…..what did I just read! This thriller was CRAZY! This is my second Frieda McFadden book and this book was better than the first one I read! Eve is married to Nate and they have a somewhat normal relationship, according to Eve’s standards. Addie had a scandal at school and doesn’t want to go back this new school year because of how she will be treated, but she doesn’t have a choice.
In my opinion, you get a lot of storyline in the first part of the book, that will help you understand what is going to happen and why. Then the twists and turns start happening and you won’t be able to put the book down. I can’t say anymore besides read this book when it comes out!

★ 3.75 stars ★
Freida McFadden is becoming a go-to mystery/thriller author for me! The beginning starts with someone digging a grave, but we don't know who it is yet; it makes you want to keep reading to see who is digging and who is being buried. The middle of the story does get a bit slow when delving into the relationship between Addie and Nate, but it provides the necessary background to fully grasp the twists at the end. Just when you think you know where the story is heading, you get thrown a new twist to the story, just to get another twist thrown at you in the epilogue.
Thanks to Netgalley for the free arc of this book!

Bravo! Miss McFadden has done it again. Always so dependable with these thrillers. I loved this one, possibly one of my favorites by her, at least top 3.

Like every Freida McFadden novel, I devoured this story in less than 24 hours. Just when I thought everything was working out and being nicely wrapped up, there was one more twist I never saw coming. I really related to and felt so much sympathy for Addie, and for Eve (at least up to a certain point). The story really picks up around 1/3 of the way through.
