Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher, and author for my ALC in excahnge for my honest review.
Snowy Serendipity is a two for one novella. Melissa Gerguson is one of my favorite authors. Her writing style is awesome and I felt like I was a part of the story, I was that engrossed. The holidays were a bit rough this year and these novellas provided the perfect escape.
The first story Dashing Through the Snow had it all. Who wouldn't love to spend the holidays on a holiday themed romantic hotel on a train? This is brilliant and the narrator did an excellent job of bringing this story together. The story gave me all the feels and includes all the elements for this cute holiday romance. The book includes a cast of eclectic characters provie each other comfort as we experience heartbreak and an older gentleman who likes ot play chess combined with hilarious shenanigans, I literally could not stop this audio book!
The Second story Pining for You takes place on a Christmas farm and has equally great characters. I identified more with this story and felt that it flowed really well while also giving me all the feels!
I highly recommend both of these to anyone who loves a well written light hearted story about forgiveness, new beginings, and second chances. I look forward to more from the author and narrators.

I know these are short stories but it felt incredibly rushed, I did not feel any of the chemistry between either of the couples. The resolutions felt like they were only solved because the book had to end soon. I think the concept for both of these stories are great but the execution was not there for me.
Magical and cozy: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
📖Blurb: In this cheerful and heartwarming collection, bestselling author Melissa Ferguson offers up the gift of cozy joy in two sweet novellas for the holiday season.
Dashing Through the Snow & Pining for You
🎧 I’ve yet to read/listen to a Melissa Ferguson book I haven’t adored. How is that even possible? This collection is incredibly sweet and swoony. Please read it if you’re interested in cozy Christmas vibes. The narrator was amazing and the production quality was great in this book.

I am a big fan of Melissa Ferguson’s books, so I was so excited to read her newest book. This book featured two winter novellas in it, and I thought they were both SO cute! I loved the first one more and totally wish it was a full length book. But both were great!
I loved listening to these books on audio. I felt like it made them more enjoyable. If you’re a fan of winter novellas, I highly recommend checking these out! They’re quick and such fun reads.
Thank you Netgalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.
This was such a delightful book to listen to during the holiday season! It had two sweet Christmas stories that warmed my heart and got me in the holiday mood.
These two stories were just the right mix of fun and romance, with a bit of snowy Christmas festivities mixed in.
I LOVED the fun dialogue, the quirky characters, and the sweet touch of romance that makes up these stories.
Whenever I read a Melissa Ferguson book, I know I’ll enjoy it. I’ll be entertained with humor, quirkiness, drama, and sweet romance. Many have interesting plots and crazy moments.
Her books always have characters who are so unusual and a bit eccentric. Yet, they are characters you will come to love and enjoy.
I highly recommend you pick this book up for a fun read!
I was given this book by the publisher and NetGalley which did not influence my review in any way, all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Two sweet, seasonal tales - one on a cozy train, where a woman finds the love and life she's been missing; and one on a farm where two former friends get a second chance. I enjoyed the stories.
These novellas were both fun and very cutesy! They were quick reads (listens) and I love a holiday/winter read so much. This was my first time reading from this author and I’m excited to see what else she comes out with!

The first story takes place on a train called The Christmas Express! Our FMC has been recently dumped by her long-time boyfriend (I'm talking like 3 days ago), but she decides to still take the 2-week excursion that they had planned together. I wasn't sure about her at first, because she seemed like she was willing to jump into a relationship with anyone, but I ended up really liking the ending and who she ended up with!

The second story takes place in Virginia... and is a second-chance romance for two high school sweethearts who came to a disastrous end, and haven't seen each other in 14 years. It takes place on a Christmas tree farm (owned by the MMC's family and maintained by the FMC's family). It also addresses the heavier topics of gambling and addiction.
Thank you so much to @netgalley and @thomasnelson for the advanced copy in exchange for this review!

I received a copy of this audiobook from NetGalley for an honest review.
2 sweet Christmas romances that made me smile. The first really made me want to ride the Christmas train! What a way to fall in love and what a perfect life for the main characters. The second was a wonderful second chance story were she has to let go of her previous notions to learn what a great guy he really his (and her mom is pretty smart too) All in all a great read.
I listened to Snowy Serendipity on a flight from Dallas to Denver and then back again. It was the perfect listen for a snowy, winter vacation. I love that there were two stories, so I listened to one on the flight there and one on the flight back. I thought the stories were cute and easy to listen to. I liked the narration, and enjoyed that I could listen to it while relaxing with my eyes closed on my flights.
Thanks Netgalley for the Arc in exchange for my views
This was super cute and 2 books in 1
These were 2 short and adorable Christmas stories.
Think like cheesy Hallmark vibes but I loved them and it was exactly the feel good Christmas story I was looking for.
Both narators portrayed this well.
As always I love Melissa Ferguson and anything she writes. She is great at writing the cozy and sweet love story packed with heart. This was a great light read for the winter and I highly recommend.
I really enjoyed both stories. The audiobook was easy to listen to as well. Both stories were sweet and fun and put me in the winter time spirit. I would highly recommend these any time not just Christmas time!
Cute and sweet little book with a touch of smut. Book consisted of two short novellas together set in winter landscapes. Both were be spoilt ever after with no cheating.
Melissa Ferguson is a new author to me but as Christmas is my favourite time of the year and I love romance stories, I was excited to listen to the two stories featured in Snowy Serendipity.
Dashing Through The Snow:
What’s not to love about a holiday themed romance set on a train. This is certain a book with all the feels.
Pining For You:
Another holiday romance but this time we are in a small town.
If you love the holiday season and romance stories I highly recommend this gem.
The narration team of Talon David and Kayla Jackson are also new to me but after listening to Snowy Serendipity I will be checking out other works by them as well as checking out more by the talented Melissa Ferguson.
A great listen that’s all about romance and the holiday season.
A fun wintery mini-collection - two simple, silly stories, both eminently enjoyable. Perfect to bring a bit of romance to your winter season
I enjoyed the two Christmas novellas that made up the Snowy Serendipity collection. While Dashing Through the Snow took place on a Christmas Express train which sounded like a wonderland on wheels, Pining for You took place on a Christmas tree farm. The first story was shorter than the second but both were light hearted stories about new beginnings and second chances. The narration by both Talon David and Kayla Jackson was lively and pleasant to listen.
My thanks to NetGalley, the publishers Thomas Nelson and Zondervon Audio and the author Melissa Ferguson for the ALC. This review is voluntary and all opinions are my own.
The first short story was amazing, and I honestly wish this was just a novel of that story. The second story was very difficult to follow in large part due to the narrator not changing their voice. It was near impossible to discern whether the FMC or the MMC were speaking. Still 3 stars overall, though I’d give the first story a solid 4 stars.
Snowy Serendipity is a collection of two holiday novellas from the same author but feel very different. I enjoyed the first story more. Dashing Through the Snow (the first story) takes place on a train. On this trip, our heroine is on a journey of self-realization that she deserves better. As this is a romance, love is scattered in as well. It's a fun, happy story with likable characters that gives Christmas vibes. The second story, Pining for You, wasn't as memorable for me. It did not have the Christmasy feel and none of the characters were likable. While the cover is adorable, I wish the stories were too.
First story: 4 stars
Second story: 2 stars
Thank you to NetGalley, Thomas Nelson and Zondervan Audio for the chance to listen and review this audiobook. All thoughts are my own.
This was two sweet little stories based around Christmas time and I really enjoyed both! The first one was my favourite of the two. Where we have willow who is recently dumped and on the couple Christmas train trip they booked solo. But that’s where she meets an adorable elderly man and his son the train conductor. I laughed at this one and loved all the characters and I loved the Christmas train setting! In the second story we have a second chance romance with two lovers who haven’t seen each other In years in-till they end up back on her family’s Christmas tree farm together and realize things aren’t always what they seem and find their way to back to each other. I’m always a sucker for a second chance and a Christmas tree farm is one of my favourite holiday settings!
