The illustrations in Dino-Earth Day are bright and engaging for adults and kids alike. I especially love the variety of dino types, which is perfect for my dino-loving kids. This book also covered more than just one way to care for our environment which I haven't seen as often in books dealing with earth day. I think this book is not only perfect for classrooms to use as an educational resource, but also for families to enjoy year round!

Another fun book of the series! This one has rhyming like the others, but has the message to take care of the earth. It gives great examples of simple things that kids can do. The illustrations are beautifully engaging.

Dino-Earth Day is an appealing illustrated picture book for the youngest readers (5-9 years) by Lisa Wheeler. Released 5th March 2024 by Lerner on their Carolrhoda imprint, it's 32 pages and is available in hardcover and ebook formats.

One of a series of dino-books by this author, this outing sees the dinos taking care of the earth, recycling, and making a difference for the planet we all share. The illustrations by Barry Gott are colorful, whimsical, and fun. They're full of small details which invite readers to pause and take a deeper look. Really cute and they'll appeal to all ages.

Four and a half stars. This would be a superlative choice for public or school library, home use, or gift giving.

Disclosure: I received an ARC at no cost from the author/publisher for review purposes.

This was a fun book to read. Each page showed some way to either clean up or take care of our planet. We saw these dinos doing all kinds of tasks, and having a lot of fun along the way. Once this book comes to a close it looks like the day was a rousing success. Fans of this author will want to check this book out.

Oof. My 4 year old and I weren't a big fan. I can't pinpoint what it is about this book exactly but it wasn't really enjoyable for us to read. It is good for teaching about keeping the environment clean but then I felt like I had to go into a huge teaching moment right before bed which I didn't want right then. And I feel like there should have been stuff a bit more relatable for kids. Kids can't drive so that's a moot point. Maybe it's just me. I don't know.

Thank you Netgalley and Lerner Publishing Group for an ARC.

In this rhyming book, we follow different dinosaurs. They hope to find different ways to take care of the Earth.
I personally love books that talk about taking care of the Earth. I feel that it's such an important thing to teach children. Adults can also benefit from reading these kind of books. it might make them want to make changes. I also liked this book because it rhymed.
My 7 year old loved this book because it was about dinosaurs and helping the Earth.
My 9 year old loved this book because it talked about cleaning the Earth. She said it's a helpful book to show how to help.
I would recommend this book to teachers and parents. I'm actually going to look into other books by this author.
I would rate this book 4.5 out of 5 stars.

I read this with my 8 year old and she really enjoyed it. Most of the language was on her level, I only had to define a few words. She thinks this will help kids like her know how they can support the Earth and take care of it, and I agree. The book provided so many ideas to kids on how they can be a helper! I love this series and look forward to more from the line!

This was such a fun book ! I enjoyed the rhyming verse and the silly little pages in-between all the useful facts!

I appreciate the examples that are shown and given on how to keep Earth clean.. for example, instead of driving your car, it shows that you can walk, hike or ride a scooter.

Although I think this is a perfect book to add to a class for Earth Day, I think it is also just a great reminder to kids on how to take care of where we live, EVERYDAY!

One type of book that I feel most people undervalue is the dinosaur book. Because as a kid we all read them, and to this day kids still read them. And one of the greatest parts of the dinosaur book is that you can wrap up just about any message inside of it and make it super fun to read about. This book serves as a great way to teach kids about the different ways they can help the environment and keep the planet healthy. It talks about recycling pretty heavily but is also talks about different ways to lower individual pollution, upcycling, and the like. The rhymes were all very fun and had a great cadence to them so I can see this being a super fun one to read aloud. I loved the art as well. It was super dynamic and colorful as well as demonstrating good practices for children. For example, when the dinosaurs were cleaning up trash they all had on gloves.

I got this not realizing it was for a very younger child. My five year old still enjoyed it. She read some words and counted the animals and knew the types of dinosaurs. Fun quick book.

A cute book where Dinosaurs celebrate Earth Day. This is just the cutest series- seeing the Dinosaurs do human activities. I enjoyed the rhyming throughout the book as well. A fun book to show how we can reduce reuse and recycle too!

The Dinos show us how to do things that will help the people of the planet Go Green with teamwork.
Cleanup, gardening, compost, recycling, upcycling, and how to reduce, reclaim, resew, reuse not just for Earth Day but everyday!
The illustrations by Barry Gott are delightful, imaginative, and colorful.
Well suited for reading WITH someone of any age including ESL, and great for gifting to anyone, but especially to a school or public library!
I requested and received a free temporary e-book on Adobe Digital Editions from Lerner Publishing Group/Carolrhoda Books ® via NetGalley. Thank you!

This book is a great way to teach kids different ways to help planet Earth. The talks about different ways to commute, cleaning parks, paper recycling and more. The book was a little long and my child got a little bored but it’s a cute new way to inform kids ways to be more green

This was a sweet Dino book that introduces children to ways they can protect Earth. It’d be so fun to read in a classroom on Earth day!

A pretty standard entry in the dino series. Nice rhyming couplets and colorful illustrations. Gentle introduction to conservation and some science ideas, like photosynthesis. Probably best for ages 5-7 because there is some advanced terminology but the illustrations and theme are best for younger kids.

Thank you NetGalley for an advance ebook in exchange for my honest review. I will purchase a copy for my library.
