"I liked, how they had pterodactyl twins make the pterodactyl sculpture. I liked how they walked, and didn't drive because that gives bad air." words straight from my 6 year old's mouth.

"I liked how they picked up all the trash. I like how it had rhyming words. Oh I liked how they made plants!" words straight from my 7 year old's mouth.

I personally enjoyed the catchy rhyming and the illustrations. Most colorful I've read in a good bit. Super cute and I would absolutely gift or buy this book.

I received an early release copy of this book and I'm leaving my honest opinion, along with my children's opinions!

I received an electronic ARC from Lerner Publishing Group through NetGalley.
Wheeler is back so readers see how dinosaurs celebrate another holiday. This time they gather to take care of the Earth on Earth Day. The author uses her familiar rhyming style to show readers the various ways they can clean up and care for our planet. The artwork is always colorful and detailed and fun to study. A terrific springboard to discuss what families can do to join the dinosaurs in cleaning up.

My son has recently found Lisa Wheeler's Dino series (sports and holidays) and I was delighted to see the Earth Day themed book will be published soon. We really enjoyed reading this book together. Although climate change can be a daunting topic for adults, Dino-Earth Day features a lot of simple and fun ways for kids to get involved with caring for the planet. This book promotes a very important message in a positive way, and I look forward to reading it again and again with my son. Thanks to Lerner Publishing Group for the Read Now ARC of DIno Earth Day, which publishes in 2024.

What a cute book! It’s a great way for kids to learn about Earth Day and how to better take care of the earth. Especially if they love dinosaurs like mine! The rhymes were catchy and I loved the illustrations.

Dino-Earth Day is a delightful addition to Lisa Wheeler's popular Dino-Holidays book series. (She also has Dino-Sports books.) Using easy rhyming the Dinosaur friends spend the day taking care of the earth. They pick up trash from parks and rivers, ride bikes and scooters, plant in the urban garden and visit a recycling center. I like that all the activities are realistically things kids can do to be mindful of taking care of the planet. Of course the illustrations are colorful and bright. This will be a great addition to my school library shelf. Geared towards grades K-3rd.

I’m enjoying these dinosaur-themed picture books by author Lisa Wheeler and illustrator Barry Gott! This one is just right for sharing with young children celebrating Earth Day or anytime you want to talk about caring for Mother Earth. The colorful illustrations combine with humorous text to create one treasure of a book.
