Overall, Logan and Gwen's romantic story in this book was a pleasant read. What I liked most about it was the way the author took their time to develop their relationship. Despite not being a fan of instalove, the characters grew on each other over time, and took time to get to know one another, making their relationship feel more authentic. Gwen, in particular, was a refreshing character, as she broke free from the typical perfect female protagonist stereotype. One thing to note is that this book is a closed-door romance, meaning that there are no explicit scenes. However, this may be a preference for some readers. While the beginning of the book was engaging and entertaining, the ending felt a bit rushed. As a reader, I would have loved to see more time dedicated to the ending, especially given the investment I had made in the characters during the first half of the book. Additionally, the plot did get a bit slow at times, and I would have appreciated more conflict to keep me engaged. Overall, this was a decent read, but it may not be for everyone.

A cheesy, heartwarming romance where I found myself rooting for the main characters. Yes it was obvious what would happen at the end but I appreciated the way we got to know their motivations and their challenges while they got to know each other.
Written in a dual perspective style, this easy to follow and calm, easygoing romance is a nice read.

Oh this was SWOONY. Loved the mcc. Of course I wanted more steam and more dating banter between the two of them. But still loved all of it.
I received an advance review copy for free via Netgalley and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

This was my first Jasmine Falls book but I didn't feel like I needed to know what happened in previous books. Those characters were guest stars in this book. I liked the town, I liked the Christmas wedding, I loved the sister dynamic and the overbearing mother. It was a fun read.
I do have a (long-standing) quibble about the cafes and bakeries with one baker who shows up at 8 AM. I also don't know why Gwen was so worried about keeping secret that her ex-fiancée cheated and that's why she called off the wedding. That's all on him, not her. Why let him look like the wronged party?
Thank you to Blue Crow Publishing and NetGalley for the Advance Reader Copy. I am required to disclose this by law.

This was such a sweet romance. I enjoyed watching Logan and Gwen's relationship flourish throughout the book. I'm not one for insta-love scenarios, but I enjoyed this quick read. Christmas time in the small town of Jasmine Falls was the perfect setting for this. Gwen is extremely relatable, and I love that the author did not make her to be this picture-perfect stereotypical FMC. Closed door romance, so keep that in mind if that is not your cup of tea. I feel the ending was a bit rushed, and the author could have spent more time since I was so invested in the first half of the book. I just wanted more in the end.
Gwen is an amazing baker and the owner of a small bakery in Jasmine Falls. Her sister Victoria is getting married, and Gwen is trying to escape the scrutiny from her mother and the town on her dating life. With a failed relationship behind her, she is desperate to fly under the radar during the wedding festivities. Gwen is the type of woman who gives her all for everyone but always stands in her own way.
Logan is picture perfect. Everything you would want in a man. Kind, compassionate, loving. The kind of guy to make you feel like a million bucks, not to mention he has millions of bucks. He is escaping his family drama and attending his old friends wedding in Jasmine Falls. Logan finds himself renting a cabin next to Gwen, who he quickly falls for. This Scottish man practically stole my heart from the beginning. Can all men be a bit more like Logan?

This book had all of the charming and cozy Christmas time romance vibes. I really liked this book and just found out there’s two other books in this series and I want to dive into them.

I am a sucker for a good Christmas story. This is my first story by Lucy Day and I was pleasantly surprised. It had the Hallmarkish feel that I was looking for. I enjoyed Logan’s character and was just as invested in how he was going to solve his family problems as I was their romance.
I was also pleased with the ending both for Gwen and her sister.
The author did a great job of giving us chemistry between the characters without being explicit.
I would recommend One Sweet Holiday.

This delightful story is perfect for the magic of the holiday season. I enjoyed the storytelling and character reveals. The characters were relatable, likable, and sexy. I was excited to see what happened next. Although I was quite pleased with the ending, I was sad to turn the last page. My fingers are crossed for a sequel. Thank you, NetGalley, for the advanced copy.

The festive world that Lucy Day creates is everything I wanted when looking for a Christmasy read! What a great story, I'm truly jealous of anyone that gets to read it for the first time!

Cute Christmas romance! I love this, the characters were adorable and it was an easy enjoyable read.

3,5* A nice romance reading. The perfect recipe for a holiday reading. An handsome stranger, a little country town full of Christmas activities, a little workplace trying to go big.
Gwen is a bakery owner in Jasmine Falls. She's hardworking and focused and is totally booked for the holidays, but she can't learn how to say no, so she's also super busy with her sister wedding arrangements.
Logan is a friend of the groom, looking for a break from his family and work responsibilities he rents the house next door for a whole month waiting for the wedding.
It was a nice book, but I feel like there were some things which seemed very important in the story and are mostly overlooked.
This, together with the fact that Logan makes some big life decisions apparently out of the blue didn't sit well with me and that's why I gave only three stars.
Thank you NetGalley and Blue Crow Publishing for providing this book as an ARC in exchange of an honest review.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read an advanced copy of this book.

It is a lovely Christmas small-town romance. I really enjoyed reading it, it was sweet funny, and very likable. I loved both Gwen and Logan the chemistry was sweet and so was the story.
I volunteered to review an ARC of this book for Netgelly

One Sweet Holiday is the story of Gwen and Logan. A year ago Gwen walked away from her fiance. Now her little sister is getting married and Gwen needs a plus one. I really enjoyed the romance between Gwen and Logan, both our hero and heroine had past issues to deal with before they could reach a happily ever after. Lucy Day knows how to write believable engaging characters.
Grab a drink and some snacks and find a comfy place. This book will keep you wanting to read it.

These characters felt so fun and interesting. It was perfect for an adorable end-of-the-year read. It was the perfect holiday romance for the season. Jasmine Falls was a great setting and I loved the hijinks with Gwen and Logan. Perfect winter read!
It’s the most wonderful time of the year…unless you’re me.
Hold the hayrides, keep your cocoa, and don’t put me within a country mile of mistletoe. This year, Christmas means chaos. My sister’s getting married and I—Gwen Griffin, perfectionist extraordinaire—will make sure her wedding is flawless. That includes doing the impossible: finding myself a wedding date. But in my tiny hometown of Jasmine Falls, South Carolina, I’ll have better luck winning the lottery.
I may be awesome at running my cafe, but I’m terrible at men. And after my last epic breakup, everyone in town knows it. That’s why I need a plus-one—even a fake one—so that when my sister gets married, everyone’s attention is on her, where it belongs.
The guy next door is perfect for the job. Gorgeous and charming, Logan Fyfe is only here for a few weeks. He’s also a hot Scottish bazillionaire who’s totally out of my league—so my risk of falling into a relationship with him? Less than zero.
Pretending to date Logan is the perfect plan—until it isn’t. Beneath his devilish smirk and delicious brogue is a big-hearted man who makes me feel the one thing I never believed to be true—that I’m enough, just the way I am.
With the wedding approaching, there’s nothing fake about my feelings anymore. When he slips his arm around my waist and whispers into my ear? Yeah, I’m a goner.
We may be worlds apart, but I’m done pretending. It’s time to get real…even if it means risking my heart.

Tall curvy FMC and a Scottish MC? Heck yeah
I love the chemistry between the characters. It felt very natural. This is exactly what the title says, sweet holiday book! It has a lot of potential to be a 4-star book. I feel like the character's development can be improved. Logan feels very unreal because he has no flaws. That part feels a bit fake somehow. Sure we love our book boyfriends but bro was perfect. I like the FMC. She is very human and relatable with her overthinking and the way she talks.
Thank you Netgalley for this arc

A cute little holiday romance. A bit of lighthearted fun for the end of year. where you can see where it’s going.

A very sweet, very American holiday romance.
The Scottish love interest didn't quite ring true, why would he speak American English? And who in Scotland has a 'condo', for example?
But all the characters are interesting and seemed very real to me. The setting is perfectly christmassy, a great book to read over the holidays.

One Sweet Holiday is a cute small-town festive romance novel from author Lucy Day.
A dual POV story. with great banter between the two of them.
A body positive female lead is always a standout and I loved that he was so into her curvy body from the start.
The story flowed well but the ending felt a little rushed. Our male main character felt a little TOO cardboard cut out perfect. I like a like-able hero/cinnamon role character but he's a little one dimensional.
Has a lot of cute moments but not sure it's really a "holiday" book per say.

One Sweet Holiday was a nice closed door small town holiday romance. I liked Logan a lot, and I liked Gwen as well but I have to say that this is mostly surface level. It has a lot of stuff that could be dealt with deeply, and needed it including her relationship with her family and his relationship with his family but it really wasnt. It is an easy book to get through but left me wanting a little more resolution.
