Mostly Loathing You was one of the best enemies/rivals to lovers books I’ve read this year!

The plot progression and pacing was perfect, the tension was there, the characters were detailed.

Such a fun read, very easy to read and remain engaged!

Well worth the read when it is released!!

I’d like to thank the publisher for this ARC- this book was hard to put down! The chemistry between Hannah and Liam was well written, and it’s easy to understand how their relationship evolved over the years and why it was so complicated. The enemies to lovers approach was just enough – and not overdone. I read this book first, not knowing it was the second in the series but I didn’t have any issues following the plot or understanding the characters. I plan on reading the first book next! I would recommend this book to anyone looking for a fun, spicy read. If you’re like me, be prepared to spend all your free time reading this book to see what happens next!

If you're looking for a book that's very emotional and provides the tropes bully romance, frenemies to lovers and some spicy, this one is for you! I really love the cover of the book and the inside didn't disappoint! I liked the writing style and how you could easily connect with the protagonists of the story, which made you feel deeply for what they experienced throughout this whole book. Great read!

This book is a super emotional (literally had me squealing with joy in places) bully romance. It's frenemies to lovers, spicy and heart-warming in places.

I devoured this book in one sitting and regret nothing. As this was my first book from Nicole Ryan I was purely reeled in by the lovely cover but I was more than happy to stay along for the ride when devilishly handsome Liam shows up.

I loved Hannah, she is such a real, down to earth and loving person. I go through books not really connecting to the character but in this case, I really enjoyed learning about Hannah and her life.

It's beautifully written and it hits hard in all the right places.

This book was really good! I enjoyed the storyline and character growth! I found the writing confusing at times but not enough to take away from the plot. I like how the characters and books overlap, and I look forward to seeing these characters in book 3!

I want to start by saying thank you to Nicole Ryan and Netgalley for the opportunity to review this arc. 💕

This book was a 3 ⭐️ for me. I really enjoyed this book, it was a cute enemies to lovers romcom.
The dedication at the beginning of this book was *chefs kiss*

I felt that I related a lot to Hannah, the FMC, because of the issues she struggled with and I really appreciated how we saw her progress over the story and finally realise her worth, it sent a nice, heartfelt message.

The one thing I love about enemies to lovers is the banter and this book did it well. The bickering between these two characters was phenomenal and had me chucking at times.

I will say that at some points in this book I was unsure on how I felt about Liam, the MMC, however he had won me over by then end. And one thing I will say is I love when a guy defends his girl!!!

I will now be patiently waiting for the next book in this series. 🫶

Thank you so much NetGalley and of course Nicole Ryan for the ARC ! 🌺

I enjoyed this book a lot, I am a big fan of enemies to lovers trope and this book did not disappoint !

The banter between them was great and the spice was literally fire !! 🔥🔥

I need to say that it bothered me how Liam behaved in some circumstances but as the story progressed he won me over with how he loved and defended Hannah 😍 The character development is amazing !

All in all I enjoyed this book a lot and I am so excited to read other future books from the author.

OOoH I love myself a good enemies to lovers.

My rating: 3 stars
Spice 🌶🌶🌶

Read this book for…
- Enemies to lovers
- Opposites attract
- Brother’s best friend
- Workplace romance
- Forced proximity

Thoughts:
Y’all. Liam was SUCH a bully. Hannah absolutely did NOT let him get away with his BS. This was a DELICIOUS enemies to lovers. Is it a thing for the main characters to be so cruel to one another it was so good? Maybe I am twisted. But their bickering and banter was SO GOOD.

Hannah and Liam grew up together and for reasons I will not expand on becomes enemies. Their animosity against each other is heavy! Hannah starts working at her family’s firm and lo behold she is forced to work in close proximity with Liam. The way the story eventually unfolds is *chefs kiss.* Liam as much of a douche he was becomes so protective of and very sweet to Hannah.

Thank you NetGalley and NRC Publishing Group for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I was hooked on the story from the beginning. I related to the heroines issues with her family. And I loved the interactions between the hero/heroine. But what kept me from giving this a 5 star review is just a matter of personal preference. Authors seem to always want to include an LGBTQ aspect to a story when it adds nothing to the story's plot. If there was a real point, like there was an issue with family or friends the characters had to work through for personal growth, ok. But in this story, it was unnecessary. It served no purpose other than having jumped on the pc bandwagon. But check this out anyway. It has excellent messages and I really enjoyed the read very much.

It was a typical hate turned love romcom story but one problem I found with this book was the justification for Liam & Hannah's hatred for each other turning to love wasn't explained properly. The circumstances looked weak, the explanation incomplete and the change of heart felt forced. There was no sufficient explanation about why the hatred started in the first place either. It seemed like the author depended on the steamy parts of the book to make the story a success. Going with a 1 star.

ARC Review - thank you to NetGalley, NRC Publishing, and, of course, Nicole Ryan for the ARC 🙏🏼

Liam and Hannah 💓

I really enjoyed reading this. I enjoyed Hannah, and I think she was written in such an honest way. I can only describe it as you can actually see her as a real, normal person? Someone who is strong but vulnerable, confident but with doubts, happy but with a lot of problems.. it was refreshing 😊

I did also enjoy Liam, and seeing them grow together was really nice. He did a lot of really sweet things for her, and the way he defends her 🥹

A very good sweet and spicy romance 💓

If you are looking for a book with all the tropes you’ve got it in this one. Mostly Loathing You is a brother’s friend, work place, frenemies to lovers romance novel following Hannah and Liam.
If you love snark with spice then this is the perfect book for you.
Having not read the first book in this interconnected standalone series I will definitely be going back and reading it!

this book was definitely an emotional roller coaster! and it had me hooked from the very first chapter. it was funny, spicy, and the banter between hannah and liam was top tier.
i did think their flirty relationship developed a tad too quickly, and i would have liked to see their little back and forth for a bit longer, but aside from that, i loved every part of this book and would definitely recommend it for a quick fun and spicy read!
looking forward to reading more nicole ryan books!

i went back through my highlights and actually laughed out loud comparing my first and last one.

“i would rather stab myself in the jugular than touch that demonic little blonde.”

“…she deserves someone who would shout it from the rooftops that they’re hers, making it crystal clear to the world… so with that, I’m going to make an absolute fool of myself. hannah, i love you.”

Wow, I loved this one! Thank you NetGalley and Nicole Ryan for an arc. I enjoyed the first book a lot, but this one seemed made for me. It’s all of my favorite tropes plus theatre? Sign me up!

This book follows Hannah Thatcher-Miles and Liam Park as she starts a job at his father’s law firm. It’s enemies-to-lovers and they don’t get along in the beginning. It’s super fun to read because they have amazing banter and I came to really care for both characters

**Kinda spoiler**

One of the highlights of the book for me is a trip to NYC that they take. the descriptions are amazing and reminded me of one of my favorite cities

Overall, I LOVED this one and highly recommend picking it up when it comes out 🤍 Especially if you like enemies-to-lovers, workplace romances, theatre, and more

Thank you to Netgalley, the publisher and the author Nicole Ryan for providing me an advanced copy in exchange for an honest review. Mostly Loathing You is a new enemies to lovers romance novel that is coming out in the New Year (January 2024). This book is set around the main characters Liam Park and Hannah Thatcher- Miles but the two have always had a rivalry where they love to hate each other. The situation takes a huge turn of events when Hannah takes a job opportunity working as the assistant to Liam’s father at the law firm his family owns. Liam & Hannah find themselves accidentally running into each other everywhere. I loved how once they both tore down the walls they had both built up and could be vulnerable while getting to truly know one another. The writing style along the story's narrative/ plot is demonstrated perfectly. Nicole Ryan wrote a great heartfelt romantic novel that has a wonderful enchanting love story. This is a 5 star read that I cherished this entire book with my whole heart. I can't wait until it's out January 26th 2024 so I can start recommending it to my friends so they can read it. I hope people will like it as much as I did.

4.5/5.

I loved this book! I thought this struck a good balance for enemies to lovers, creating good angst but not making them too cruel toward one another. I thought the 3rd act conflict was real and appropriate and didn't feel contrived like they often do. This was so close to 5 stars for me, I only took off half a star because Jackson was so unlikeable! He never stood up for her ever, not with her mom, not with Liam, never. When she called him when she was struggling and he essentially blew her off, that was it for me. I know he apologized at the very end for not standing up for her enough but it just wasn't good enough for me! Needed some grovel from Jackson. However, the rest of this book was nearly perfect and Hannah was such a likable and relatable main character, I really felt for her throughout the book and wanted to strangle everyone who was mean to her!

This was a model romcom. Funny, easy to read, great characters - and swoonworthy moments. Hannah moves to Atlanta and starts working for her family's company. She works with Liam - which is very complicated as they have a history and their relationship is filled with tension. I loved the opening dedication and playlist - one of my favourite things to do while reading - listening to music. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Thank you to NetGalley for the ARC.

Hannah and Liam have known each other forever but that doesn’t exactly mean they were friends! When Liam’s father gets Hannah a job at their firm, their close proximity changes hate to lust to lovvveee.
