I received an arc of this title from NetGalley for an honest review. Here are a few good ideas for snacks that I might try, though I don't really care if they are low-carb or not.

It can be frustrating to find cookbooks that actually deliver on the promise quick and easy, and those that are don't always have the most appetizing recipes. This book is full of quick yummy recipes that I think most people will actually want to make! I can't wait to make some!

This is a nice cookbook. It has many great recipes perfect for any time eating whether you want a low-carb diet, need Keto or Paleo treats, or are looking for something quick and easy. You will find recipes that have no allergens including dairy, gluten, or grain, and are free from refined sugar in this cookbook.

I enjoyed trying out the yummy and easy to make snacks. I’d definitely recommend these recipes to friends.

This is a nice cookbook for keto snacks and treats. There are photos for most recipes and nutritional information. Many are high in calories if you’re needing to watch that. There were some novel recipes.

This was chock-full of easy, healthy snack ideas! It can be hard to think of easy and healthy snack ideas but this book gave me some great pointers and ideas. I am not keto, but I was looking for some easy snack ideas and this was incredibly helpful.

A lot of interesting recipes , one per page, nice illustrations, however a lot of them I would never make nor enjoy.

Great snack book. Something for everyone. Love how easy these are and very delicious. A great addition for any household who wants less processed food.

Really nice selection of recipes. Good pictures and instructions. Sometimes the ingredients seem a little pretentious though.

If you are following a low carb diet, this books has lots to offer. All recipes are accompanied by lovely photos of mouthwatering food.

There were a few ingredients that I am not familiar with but am sure would source fairly easily in a big supermarket. Almond flour is a big constituent in replacement of flour for baked goods and I need to purchase some to try some of these recipes I don’t know what dark raw honey is and coconut palm sugar sounds exotic - and probably expensive! Despite some of the unusual ingredients, none of the recipes have huge ‘shopping list’ requirements (ie not many different ingredients are usually required), and all recipes seem relatively simple to pull together with only a few instructions to make each dish.

The jury is out on all the fat bomb selection of recipes - there are quite a few! The photos do make them look enticing, but I am not sure I really want to try them on account of their name! I feed the birds in my garden fat balls in winter, and some of these recipes didn’t look all that different to be honest.

Sometimes you just need the hit of carbs, but I have noticed that I sleep better when I limit them in the evening. This is a book of snacks and treats so I will definitely give some of the recipes a try but there were a fair few that didn’t appeal to me.

If you are trying to eat low carb and want easy grab and go recipes, this is the book for you. The recipes are easy to follow and no crazy ingredients. There are some unique fat bomb recipes as well- Smoked mackerel pate fat bombs. What an idea!

Quick and easy...

I liked that these recipes were quick and easy.
It contained great new ideas for low carb snacks, which I can definitely get on board with.
Especially as I do enjoy my carbs. This provided do-able ideas for snacks.
Recommend.

A great cookbook to help you plan for low carb snacks with easy-to-follow recipes and good quality pictures. No need to feel any guilt for eating these snacks!

Terrific recipes ehh pictures. The recipes are great low carb snacks. Heavy on the fat bomb recipes which isn’t for me but they look good and easy to make.

The pictures are what didn’t work for me. There were a good amount of pictures they just weren’t attention grabbing (some recipes looked burnt)

I love food! I enjoy a well prepared meal, cooking, sharing food with others and unfortunately for me I’ve loved sugar. Until 2.5 years ago when I got diagnosed with sudden onset type 2 Diabetes and my relationship with food changed overnight. I made a decision to do mitigate the effects of diabetes by cutting out complex carbs & initially almost all sugar 😭 let me tell you, it was hell! It took me quite a while to learn to enjoy my new way of eating, to learn how to make sugar free desserts & to be able to reintroduce a number of fruits into my diet.

This book is everything I enjoy in a recipe book! Simple, straightforward, with photos to go along with recipes. Since I’ve been on a similar diet I already have most of ingredients mentioned. If you are new to this type of eating, I suggest picking a few simpler recipes to see if this works for you!

I had every intention of photographic some of the snacks I made but when that urge to snack hits, photos are the last thing on my mind. I really enjoyed making Cauliflower Hummus (I love dips & I love cauliflower), Smocked Mackerel Pate fat bombs & chocolate avocado truffles. I haven’t tried any of the smoothie recipes but have every intention.

If you’re on keto, looking to reduce your carb & sugar intake or just want to try something new in the form of simple snack recipes, this book is an absolutely great for that. I’ll be adding more of Martina Slajerova recipe books to my collection, that’s for sure!

This cookbook focuses on low-carb recipes and, like others in this series, seems to have recipes that are easy to prepare. However, many of them have ingredients that are substitutes for things normally found in a pantry, particularly sugar and gluten substitutes. Thus, it isn't a cookbook I would normally use, but might be suitable for folks on paleo or other specialty diets. It does include some photos of the dishes, which adds to the appeal.

I have read and enjoyed some Dana Carpender recipe book titles in the past, so I thought this would be worth a look. Unfortunately, I failed to catch the subtitle: Keto and Paleo treats for Fat Burning and Great Nutrition. I presume that low carb diets work for some; but with all the snacks geared toward that choice, most recipes wouldn’t work for those who don’t eat “fat bombs” and other high-calorie foods.

Quick and Easy Low Carb Snacks recipes looks very simple to follow and create. The photography is wonderful & the recipes are written with specific nutrition requirements and information to each recipe, which is very helpful. This is one of those cookbooks that has plenty of choices & would be perfect for a beginner or experienced cook.
