I normally zoom straight into the ingredient lists within the recipes whenever I get my hands on a cookbook. In Quick and Easy Low Carb Snacks, I was glad to see that the food items can be easily obtained. I was very, very surprised, though, to see that coconut palm sugar, maple syrup and honey are included in some of the recipes. I spotted one snack with 21.2g of carbs. Not my typical idea of a low-carb recipe. Somewhat surprised too to see that erythritol is used especially after the recent controversy about it.

Happy to say, though, that I also saw many suitably low-carb ones, and am eager to try a few of them, for example, the baked chicken nuggets and the pork belly fat bombs.

So, I am in two minds about this book. Some of those ingredients will definitely spike my blood sugar. I love Martina Slajerova and Dana Carpender, especially Dana Carpender and I have many of her books sitting on my shelves to prove that. But I am not very sure I could unreservedly recommend this particular title. I am sad to say that.

So glad I've found a great cookbook for low carb options! As someone who is currently on a weight loss journey I tend to look at carbs and sugars more than anything...but I am a big snacker. This helps create quick and easy snacks that I can make and store and go to rather than eating a chocolate bar or some cookies. Will be coming back to this one often!

I was drawn to this book by its title ... Quick and Easy Low-Carb Snacks Unfortunately, I am not really the target audience for this, as I don't do Keto or Paleo. Those folks would probably find this book more helpful. Most recipes are pretty labor intensive and require several ingredients I am unfamiliar with.
I will say the book is visually appealing, as each recipe includes a lovely photograph of the food you will be making. Instructions were detailed and clear.
I did find a few recipes I will be trying ....
Sundried Tomato Chicken Sliders
Mini Zucchini Muffins
Blond Snack Bars
I also found the introduction chapter quite interesting and helpful. The author explained the value of snacking, when done in a healthy, thought out manner.

This cookbook is packed with creative and delicious low-carb snacks. It's a lifesaver for busy days. The recipes are easy to follow, and the snacks are so tasty, you won't even miss the carbs. A must-have for anyone looking to snack guilt-free!

Firstly, I want to state that there is a gorgeous photo for every recipe here - something that I love, but not enough cook books do this!!

Some of the recipe ideas are basic, and a bit like 'whats the point' - but others are really creative.

Loads of ideas, lots of colour.

Lovely to look at, and lots of recipe content!

There are many good recipes in this booklet and I love that they are low carb. I will be adding a few to my recipe repertoire as I was recently diagnosed as pre-diabetic, the recipes will be very helpful. However, many of the recipes call for using erythritol and this ingredient has been found by a Cleveland Clinic study to be very dangerous potentially causing heart attacks and strokes. Perhaps, using a low-carb natural sweetener would be a better alternative to include with the recipes.

I want to thank Netgalley and the author for gifting me the ebook.
This book has tons of recipe ideas for grain free recipes. The recipes seem easy to follow. The very beginning there are a bunch of nut butter recipes that look really good!

This is a great cookbook for somehow seeking low-carb recipes. Just be careful -- low carb is definitely different than low calorie. All of these recipes deliver on its low carb promise, but some are very high calorie.

My favorite sections were the "work snacks" and "road trip snacks" sections!

I really enjoyed looking through this cookbook! So many great recipes. I look forward to making many of them for my son and I. I am always looking for low carb snacks and this was perfect for my busy life.
