Absolutely obsessed with this one! The cover and storyline is adorable. I have been recommending this one to all my friends now that it is out.

Pamela Kelley's books never ever disappoint. Lots of Christmas spirit and cheer, wonderful characters, and lovely setting makes this a perfect book anytime of the year.

I received the eARC for my honest opinion.
I wish that I would have read this during the holidays, but it was so refreshing to read while it was raining this last week. In this book you will meet Riley, she unexpectedly loses her job, her sister calls to inform her that their mother has broken her leg and will need help running the Inn. She has nothing better to do and heads down to Cape Cod, while she is there, she remembers why she loved this town, and the people. She gets close to the guest staying in the Inn, and she reconnects with her high school sweetheart. I felt like I was watching a Hallmark movie while reading this book, the author's attention to details had me picturing the Inn, all the amazing foods, and the characters.
The plot will have you loving the details, falling in love with the characters and wishing that this was a movie so you could watch it right after reading. I found the pace of the book to be perfect for a romcom and I thought the character development was spot on for being a cozy holiday romance book. I was able to connect with the characters and I found them to interesting in their own ways and fun.
I will be reading more from this author.
I want to thank NetGalley and SMP for the opportunity to review this book.

A heartwarming tale that captures the magic of the holiday season. The author weaves the theme of community and the healing power of connection throughout the narrative. A feel good escape.
Many thanks to St. Martin’s Press and to Netgalley for providing me with a galley in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is a good book. The two main characters are Riley and Aidan. They have known each other for all their lives, they dated in high school but broke up when they went to college. Riley lost her job in New York, so she decides to come back home for the holidays and decide what she wants to do. Aidan and his son are living at Riley’s family inn, because they had flooding at their house. Riley and Aidan still have an attraction. They both have issues but together they work them out and fall in love.

This was a cute read that really put me in the holiday spirit. I enjoyed this book that was not over the top, but cozy and relatable. I enjoyed the connections all the characters had with each other and how they uplifted each other.

The most perfect cute and cozy Christmas romance! I loved the flow of this romance! It was perfect for the holiday season.

My first time reading a Pamela Kelley book. Enjoyable, engaging, easy reading Hallmark type book Good characters and writing style.. I look forward to more from this author.

The Christmas Inn is a cozy, heartwarming read perfect for fans of feel-good holiday novels. Pamela Kelley captures the essence of Christmas with a beautiful setting along Cape Cod and a cast of characters who are easy to root for. Riley’s return home to help her mother at the inn leads to moments of nostalgia, second chances, and new beginnings. The book offers a comforting, festive atmosphere with just the right mix of romance and personal growth. While the story is enjoyable and uplifting, it doesn’t break new ground and might feel a bit predictable for readers looking for more depth. Nonetheless, it’s a sweet escape for anyone in need of a holiday pick-me-up.

Pamela M. Kelley’s "The Christmas Inn" is like stepping into a warm, twinkle-lit hug—cozy, comforting, and just the right amount of festive escapism. Riley Sanders didn’t expect to be back in her family’s Cape Cod inn for the holidays, but when an AI-powered layoff upends her high-powered marketing career (because nothing says Merry Christmas like job loss), she finds herself helping her mother run the inn. What she doesn’t expect? Running into her high school sweetheart, Aidan, now a widower with an adorable nine-year-old son. Between rekindled sparks, a potential new career path, and her mother’s own second-chance romance, Riley quickly realizes this holiday season might be about more than just decking the halls.
Kelley masterfully balances multiple love stories, weaving in Riley’s romance, her mother’s unexpected chance at happiness, and even a sweet side story between two guests at the inn. The Christmas charm is strong—cozy fires, festive decorations, and a setting so picturesque it basically demands to be turned into a Hallmark movie. While the romance hits all the comforting beats, some plot points feel predictable, and the pacing stumbles a bit in places. Riley’s internal conflict over her old life versus her new one could use more depth, but the heartwarming relationships and the undeniable charm of the inn keep the story engaging.
I’m giving "The Christmas Inn" a solid 4 out of 5 stars! It’s a light, feel-good read perfect for curling up with a cup of cocoa, especially if you love small-town charm, second-chance romances, and found family vibes. Let’s be honest, who wouldn’t want to spend Christmas at an inn where love and second chances seem to check in with every guest?

This book is just beautiful. Just when I needed to go back to feeling that Christmas spirit (in February) this book did it for me. The relationships between family are great, the coziness in the inn and how Beth and Riley are bringing that back to life, all of it are just what I needed right now. The two sister's stories on love and loss hurt my heart but warmed it all at the same time. Just beautiful. The "coming back home" trope is my absolute favorite and this was perfect. If you're looking for a perfect cozy romance, look no more. This author is slowly becoming one of my favorites. There are a lot of characters to keep up with is in this book so you keep your brain working, but overall it's great.

This was a really great feel good christmas themed story. The character development was decent. The romance aspect was very Hallmark movie. I will say i enjoyed the second half of the book mores than the first half. I thought the recipes that were included in the book were a cute little extra as well. Overall I enjoyed this one.

Absolutely adorable and quick and fun holiday read to get anyone in the Christmas spirit. Love everything from Pamela Kelley.
Thanks to the author, NetGalley and St. Martin’s Press for the advanced digital copy.

This book was pure holiday magic! It’s cozy, heartwarming, and full of all the festive charm you’d want in a Christmas read. The small-town inn setting is so inviting, and the characters feel like people you’d love to spend the holidays with. There’s romance, a little bit of drama, and plenty of feel-good moments that made me smile the whole way through. If you’re looking for a book that feels like a cup of hot cocoa on a snowy night, this one is perfect!

Pamela Kelley does it again! The Christmas Inn is a new novel that can read as a stand-alone or along with a few other of her books that have shared characters. Riley works in marketing in NYC and loses her job a few weeks before Christmas. Feeling a little down, she calls her mom and finds out that her mom has broken her ankle. Her mom runs an inn in Chatham, MA on Cape Cod and could really use the help while she recovers. Riley heads home and runs into her HS boyfriend who happens to be staying at the inn with his 9-year-old son. Riley soon finds herself with a new job opportunity, a new love interest, and a second chance in her hometown. This was a lovely Christmas themed novel.

The Christmas Inn by Pamela M. Kelley is a Hallmark Christmas movie in book form and I absolutely loved it! I think going in with those expectations really set the tone for me, and it was exactly what I was hoping it would be. There is humor, second chance romance, Christmas cheer, single dad, and delicious food all wrapped up into this emotional story. I loved having the three viewpoints between Riley, her mom, and Franny and really enjoyed each storyline. This was the perfect read for wintertime, the holidays, or just any time you want to read a cozy hug in a book.
I listened to the audiobook, and it made this short read speed by even faster. I loved Stephanie Németh-Parker as the narrator, but I do wish she had been the narrator for only Riley with at least one other narrator for the older women. She didn’t try to change her voice at all, and I do think that was detrimental here. She sounded more Riley’s age than anyone else’s and it left me wanting more from the audio itself. The food in this book made me hungry and I loved the Cape Code setting in the cute inn. The writing is straightforward while still having heart, so I would keep that mind along with this being completely closed door and sweet.
Read this if you are looking for a light holiday read, love Hallmark movies, and enjoy multiple viewpoints each with their own romance.

Not my first Pamela Kelley novel and won't be my last! This was the perfect light & cozy holiday read. Pamela always brings you right into her stories and settings which I love.

I was in the Christmas mood early this year so I decided to read this arc that I had from October. This book was a lot of fun. It was heartwarming and definitely brought the holiday vibes. If you love Hallmark Christmas movies then this is the book for you.
While I did enjoy it, there were some small elements that I didn’t love. I don’t want to give them away so that’s all you are getting for now.
It may not be a super memorable read but it certainly brings just the right amount of holiday joy.

This was such a cute and sweet read. I loved followijg along with all the different characters and what they were dealing / going thru. First time reading something but this author but I would pick up another one of her books in the future!

What type of books are your cozy reads? Christmas books are some of my coziest reads.
Riley Sanders loses her job right before Christmas when her job is made redundant by AI. Her mother has recently broken her leg and needs help at the Inn she owns, so Riley returns to the Inn to help. She meets and gets to know a variety of guests that are all going through issues of their own. Will there be a merry Christmas for everyone? Her ex-boyfriend Aiden and his son are also staying at the Inn. Seeing Aiden makes her think about her relationship with her current boyfriend Jack. He is a workaholic and does not have much time for her or their relationship. Will Aiden and Riley find romance?
My thoughts on this novel:
• This was a very enjoyable Christmas audiobook and enjoyable read. Stephanie Németh-Parker was a great narrator. There are multiple point of views and narrators in the story. It did take me a bit at times to remember where I was in the story and with who when I would start it up again.
• Riley and Aiden were the main characters, but the other characters were also well developed and had interesting storylines.
• I liked that there were people all different age groups involved in the story.
• I also liked the sub story of how Riley helped her mother with marketing to try to save the Inn.
• Second chance romance is one of my favorite tropes and I loved it in this novel.
• This is a clean and cozy read.
Overall, The Christmas Inn by Pamela Kelley is a sweet contemporary romance that is perfect for lover of Christmas Hallmark movies.
