The fourth and final installment in the Blood of a Fae series!!
This book was definitely more fast-paced than the previous ones in the series, sometimes maybe a bit too fast, but it still caught my attention and kept it.
We get some more development for Morgan and Draven’s relationship, which I felt was really well done in this book. We also got development for them as individuals, which I think is always important to include alongside a relationship.
And there are so many reveals in this book! And we also got to see a lot more cool and fantastical creatures, which I’m always a fan of seeing.
As the final book in the series, I was definitely expecting a little more. I think there was so much action that had to occur, that some of the emotion of the story didn’t quite land or fully come together. I just didn’t have the reactions I think I was supposed to have at some moments.
I haven’t read many Arthurian retellings, but I would definitely recommend this one. Especially if you love Fae and a slow-burn enemies to lover-type situation. Who doesn’t love all of that stuff??
Thanks to NetGalley for a digital copy of this book in exchange for my honest review! My Goodreads review is already up and my review on TikTok will be up with my monthly wrap-up at the end of the month.

This book felt a bit like heading to Mordor to find Sauron. The sex scenes were a little cringe. My least favorite book of the series, but overall I loved the series.
Super exciting and creative adventure!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced release copy in exchange for an honest review.
This book was the fourth instalment of this series and it did not disappoint. I very much liked that we get to see the main characters in new and more domestic situation as well as all the twist and turns that come along in their journey. You might want to keep some tissues around as there are some sadder moments. Lastly, I did enjoy the surprise and twist character- I really hope that we get to see more of their story.
Briar Boleyn left me in tears with this one! The final book in the Blood of Fae series is action packed. Morgan and Draven set out on the ultimate mission of sacrifice to save their loved ones. Loss, love, joy, and so many other emotions filled me while reading.
Thank you so much for the ARC! I really enjoyed this book as it had me hooked from the beginning. I loved the storyline. It was very well written and the description of the main characters was amazing. I cannot wait to read the rest of the books written by this author.
The final book in the Blood of a Fae series exceeded all of my expectations. The conclusion of Morgan and Draven's journey was nothing short of epic, with a thrilling final battle that had me on the edge of my seat. Throughout the series, the characters have been on a quest to find the man they've been hunting, but as the story unfolds, doubts arise about his true identity. The plot twist that awaits is sure to leave readers stunned.
From the moment I started reading the first book, I was captivated by this series. The writing is exquisite, the story is meticulously crafted, and the level of spice is just right. It truly is a remarkable and unforgettable read.
I would like to express my gratitude to Briar Boleyn for creating such a fantastic series. I would also like to thank Netgalley and the publishing team for giving me the opportunity to read and review all of the books in this series.
What am I supposed to do now that I’ve finished this book? It’s the last in the series, I need MORE!
The fourth and final instalment of the Blood of a Fae series was every bit as dazzling as I’d hoped it would be.
Morgan and Draven’s story wraps up with an epic final battle, during which they finally face the man they’ve been hunting.
But is he who he really says he is?
Are any of them who they thought they were?
Plot twist incoming!
I loved this series from the very first page of the very first book and couldn’t put them down after that.
I don’t think there is too much that I can say other than it is beautifully written, incredibly well thought out, definitely spicy (!!!) and a truly stunning read.
Briar Boleyn, thank you.
Also thank you to Netgalley and the publishing team for letting me read and review all books in the series.
BOOK 4. I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE THIS SERIES. I cannot stress enough that Briar does a phenomenal job making this story amazing. I loved how everything was wrapped up and left little clues for us to find out as we read along (or how I felt.). Romance was top tier and I’m so happy to have finally concluded this series.
Im reviewing this as an ARC and honestly I’m not sure if I’m super happy because the book was just as epic as the others, or if I’m mega sad because the journey is over 🥲 Morgan and Draven were just so perfectly written as characters and I feel like I’ve been on a massive emotional journey with them and their relationship. This fourth and final book has everything you expect from Briar Boleyn’s writing, I laughed, cried and screamed at the unexpected. Such a stellar read.
This book was full of drama which I enjoyed but it just became too much. I still liked the book, and it was nice to get the happily ever after but it was too convenient. I would've liked to have seen more of Medra, especially because in the short space of time we got to know her, she wasn't a very nice person to be around. It was also super sad that Draven missed her growing up. The relationship between them all really wasn't that developed so Medra's sacrifice fell short for me because it didn't feel meaningful. There was lots of new info dumping which felt rushed and not well thought through. Still an enjoyable read though
Thanks to netgalley and the publisher for the DRC!
Thank you NetGalley and Briar for letting me read this book.
I love a HEA, and this book delivered… with some loss and sadness along the way.
No spoilers!
But I still love Draven. Nightpaw sounds like the cutest.
An epic journey of magic, fae, gods, betrayal, and ultimately love strengthened, lost, and remembered. Fourth book, an amazing journey ends. A must for all paranormal fans!
When Iron flame, ACOTAR AND game of thrones collide.
I guess this book is what’s called a Dark Fantasy Romance..
At the beginning of this book I had so many (9) questions that were still open and needed answers, and half way through I was very close to believe that they would stay unanswered. But as in the books before this one, my questions were answered in the last one hundred or so pages.
There was so much that happened. So many more characters we met but also lost.
I guess I expected too much.. my favourite out of the four books was the second book ‘Court of Claws’.
I really enjoyed reading this book so much! It has basically all of my favourite tropes, which are Dark Fantasy, Spicy, King Arthur retelling, Fae, Touch her and Die, Enemies to Lovers, Found Family and a good Slow Burn.
If this wasn't enough to convince you to read this then you should know that the world building was great! I felt like I was part of it and the characters were even better. I had an insant connection to them and I LOVE our MCs!
I received this ebook from Netgalley in exchange for my honest opinion and review. I felt like this book had a little too much going on, and i had to really concentrate to understand what was happening. I liked the ending, but I felt like there were too many curve balls that didn’t make a whole lot of sense to me .
Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series by Briar Boleyn (and you have to read all the previous 3 books before reading this one *)
Wow!! That was just WOW !
I can't believe this journey has come to an end , and what an amazing journey it was ! I don't think I am ready to bid farewell to these characters yet who had become my family. I don't think I could have expected a better ending for this spectacular voyage !!
This book was an emotional rollercoaster to say the least . We parted ways with so many of the characters who I had come to adore!! I was left heartbroken so many times I can't count 🥹 But there were so many sweet and amazing times too which left me smiling and giggling like a little girl !
We uncovered soo sooo many mysteries. There were some shocking revelations which left my jaw hanging (I had no inklings about them whatsoever!!)
The story line, as usual was awe-inspiring!
Thr characters LOVELY
And obviously the romance breathtaking .
Draven (MMC) remains my favourite character throughout the series.
Morgan (FMC) came a longgg way and became this amazing, self sacrificing, bad ass person with some crazy incredible powers !
We get to see more of the Exmoors in this book and boy did I LOVEEE that !!! They remind me of Toothless from How to train your dragon, and oh my god do I ADOREEE them !! Yes , they are very close in line to Darven in being my 2nd most favourite character in the series!! ✨
And we have a lovely addition of Medra (I am not gonna discuss details about her , cz that will be spoileryy), and she gets her own POV ! (So this turns out to to Triple POV, although major part is still Morgan ) . She is a very cute albeit complex character, and obviously Briar Boleyn makes you care for her do !!
All in all , an AMAZING SERIES, with CAPTIVATING plot and DARLING characters , and you are obviously gonna end emotionally damaged (in a good way obviously 🤭) and so so so satisfied at the end !!
Thank you Briar Boleyn for this amazing book and NetGalley for this read in exchange for an honest review 🫶🏻

A great conclusion to the series. The plot twists and gets more fantastical. The characters we know from the King Arthur legends are presented in new ways. Good books. I read them in order one behind the other.
What a conclusion to the series. Its bittersweet that Blood of a Fae is over. Briar Boleyn did not pull any punches in this book. She did a great job giving our favorite characters more problems to work through, plot twists I wasn't expecting, and all of the gut wrenching emotions. The spice was spicing as always. Morgan is such a baddie, who gets better with every book, tho I did feel there was a bit of a disconnect with her in some parts of the story. Draven is complete perfection from start to finish! That is all I can say right now and leave it spoiler free. I cannot wait to see what Briar throws at us next!
Thank you so much for the ARC !!
This is the fourth and final book of this series... so far... I will explain more in a little bit.
First off, I love this series! I enjoy the original story of Merlin and Arthur so much as a kid, to now find all of the adaptations of the legendary story with added little twists that you otherwise never would have even come up with. Morgan was dealt a horrible hand in her childhood. To be next in line to the throne and then cast away all because her bloodline contained fae blood is a cruel fact. but I have enjoyed watching/reading her grow into the powerful being that she is by the end of this book. Morgan also made incredible friends along the way and they stick with her right until the end with her battle to bring her real father's horrible reign to an end.
In this final book, Morgan seemed to know more and more answers to things that we were left completely in the dark about. Just all of a sudden she had these memories coming back and knew who people were and where entrances were to the secret castle, etc... Having these explained as to how she knew would have been beneficial to the story, but it isn't even attempted. There is however lots of action, and she learns how to control more of her powers, which makes the fighting all the more intense. It is an action packed novel that kept me on the edge of my seat!! There were also two other portions of this book that had my emotions so out of wack... Medra, how and why did she grow so fast? and she ended up having so many problems at the castle due to her being different... That was a rollercoaster every time the chapter changed to her POV. Then there is the self-sacrifice of Nightclaw... that good boy deserved so much more.. This whole scene made me cry. It was written so well that you were witnessing it happening, he fought so hard to protect her even when she told him not to... I don't know how she had the strength to go on..
I will say that there are some things that I was not to happy to have read in this final book.. but I also understand that the author might not have had anything else for that character.. What happened to Rychel was totally unexpected and random. I think her character deserves a little side story so that we can see what she went through and what happened to her.
There are unanswered or unresolved issues at the end of the book still.. the undead children wasn't resolved and we don't know if Draven and his people will still struggle to have children or are both curses broken with the items of three being destroyed? Will al of these be answered in the spin off series coming in November...? This is the juicy little tidbit I mentioned at the beginning... There is another series coming that will have characters from this world in it, but we barely have any information on who it is about right now.. I know who I hope it is..
~ Thank you to NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review ~
What a way to end a series. I wanted to cry many times while reading this book, it was so good and there were lots of tough moments. I loved getting to see where everyone ended up at the end of the series and how everything tied in together, but I am a little upset with some of our losses. Okay, maybe not a little upset, maybe very upset. But this book was seriously so good.
We got the full run down on Morgan’s family line and what was up with her powers- and how Draven unexpectedly has a pretty important role in this mix! I wasn’t really expecting this plot twist, but I really did enjoy it. I also think that the major plot twist in this book was done very well, it was definitely hinted at but was also not super obvious throughout the series (at least to me) and I was really here for it.
This book kept me on my toes the entire time, I was trying to come up with solutions to every problem that arose in a way that would mean everybody got the HEA that I expected, but that was not what happened. Every time something bad would happen I would be like “well no, obviously whatever this is isn’t going to actually happen, maybe somebody will save them or some new power will save them”- and then they did not get saved and I was left to sit there going “wtf just happened?” while reminding myself it’s just a book it can’t hurt me (lies, it can and did hurt me.) But I swear it was in a good way! I really did enjoy reading this book! I would say it is the most intense book out of the series, so be warned. Even being intense, I will probably end up rereading this at some point.
Overall, go get this book! And if you haven’t read the other three, go read those first! And then come back and read this one. :) ♥
