I'm so sad that this series has come to an end, I really enjoyed all of the books and the characters! It was well written and fantastic!

Really looking forwards to the next book that Briar Boleyn will be bringing out and I have SO MANY HOPES ON WHO THE MC MAY BE!

Wow! What a conclusion to this series.

This final book has many twists and turns that I was definitely not expecting. Secrets revealed, new questions formed, and no one is safe!

Things pick up right after book 3 as Morgan grapples with what to do next. Some plot points shook me. One word: Medra. 👀 It was great to see how everything wrapped up and was resolved. I'll miss this series!

I love Morgan and Draven together. Draven is the perfect ride or die MMC. Morgan is unabashedly thirsty for her husband. They are both sweet and hot. 🔥 Hawl is the comedic relief mvp!

This is a breathtaking and bittersweet conclusion to the whole Blood of a Fae series. And to Draven and Morgan’s storyline.

This is one of my absolute favourite series. Without a doubt.

The final instalment just blew me away with the elaborate and delicately woven magical tapestry of writing by the brilliantly talented author, Briar Boleyn that delicately unravels with the turn of every page.

We are truly spoiled with this masterpiece, it has it all… magnificent magical beings, magic, fae, steamy romance, betrayal and eternal love. And right from the very beginning you know this is going to be phenomenal.

Briar has created something utterly unique and spectacular with this incredible storyline and these wonderful and profoundly deep, engaging characters. The world building is to die for, elegantly detailed and meticulously crafted you are transported to this incredible world, easily whisked away to this magical landscape.

We begin as we left off from book #3 seamlessly, and quickly commence with the plot as it thickens the deeper you delve.
It is a fast paced plot line and as we are taken through many unexpected twists and turns with our badass protagonists you can not help but become wrapped up in the momentum.

Draven and Morgan are complex and strong willed characters and their bond is a beautiful, heartwarming thing. I love their dynamic throughout the series and in this instalment they trust each other completely. They are well crafted and have been moulded into such amazingly deeply feeling characters - they burrow straight into your heart.

I am slightly obsessed with Draven. He is such a huge, powerful and passionate character but ultimately a complete softie.

Morgan really comes into her own in this 4th and final instalment. She has fully embraced her destiny and is a total badass.

The Ending to this story!! Well, hell… I wasn’t expecting that!
Briar kept that under wraps so well. I was truly stunned. I may have shouted, screamed and cried just a little. A revelation of spectacular proportions! I am in awe.

A highly engaging and gripping page turner: the perfect conclusion!

Wow, I'm so sad that my latest fantasy obsession is already over! I was completely hooked from the first novel and absolutely devoured KoG in two days solid - I think I may have the biggest series hangover!


Knight of the Goddess is the fourth and final installment of the corrupt, exciting and morally grey Arthurian fantasy series, Queen of Roses. Morgan Le Fay, as she is now known, and her husband Draven must leave the short-lived calm in Camelot and embark on a treacherous, war-torn and thrilling journey, to destroy the growing evil that has been brewing for centuries, before destruction reigns and dark power triumphs. Accompanied by a close-knit group of their closest friends, they must destroy three objects of untold power - the sword, the spear and the grail - but also discover answers to history's terrible, forgotten secrets.


The continually developed world building in this book was absoloutely gorgeous; it wasn't completely rammed down readers' throats, leaving them lost and confused, nor was it dragged out through endless paragraphs of dreary lore. I really felt like I was there alongside Morgan and her friends as they travelled, protected those who need it most and fought to survive to the bitter end; this book is a full sensory experience in itself of the most vivid nature. Speaking of lore, wow there was a lot going on here! However, I was really impressed just how seamlessly woven there sheer volume of it was throughout this novel and never became overwhelming, or a slog at any point. I was particularly in love with the slow revealings of the darker truth to the legends and history of the world, although at times I felt there was a slight lack of build up, which meant that it could become a little difficult to understand how Morgan and Draven worked things out.



Another thing I absolutely loved about Boleyn's writing is just how real the characters felt. Our main character, Morgan, was a brilliant protagonist and the prime example of a strong woman. I loved how, right from the start, she was determined to be the opposite of both Uther and Arthur by fighting for peace and justice for her people, particularly those who do not have the means or power to help themselves. I was captiavted by her discovery of her developing powers and her determination to use them for the greater good. There were some fantastic, spicy scenes between her and Draven, who I am absoultely in love with - this man has to be the sexiest definition of golden retriever energy! He was willing to support Morgan, and her desicions, no matter what, and to fight by her side to the very end, yet wasn't afraid to be the voice of reason and take charge when necessary. I'm really going to miss these two and would love to read a novella describing what 'happy ever after' would look like for the people of Camelot and beyond.


The development of the supporting characters in this book was so fascinating, particularly of Medra; I did not see that one coming at all! I'm so happy that Lancelet and Guinevere finally got their happy ending too, Morgan could not have had two braver female companions by her side and I'm so glad that her and Lanclet are best friends again, although I would have loved to see Guinevere's personality developed a bit more. The reunion with Rychel was so bittersweet and although I am happy she was able to achieve her goal in reviving one of the undead children, I wish we'd seen more to this side arc following her kidnap. I think the saddest death of all in this novel has to be the very fitting self-sacrifice of Nightclaw; I absolutely bawled reading this part as it was just so well written and real.


The last few chapters of this novel were some fo the most exciting page turners I've ever read and it's going to take me a while to get over all that action! The battle descriptions have been some of my favourtites throughout this whole series, and Bolyen has completely outdone herself in KoG! I loved the integration of the discovery of a dark, corrupted history, with some epic fantasy warfare - let's just say the truth is much more complex than the legends.



Overall, thank you Briar Boleyn for this epic conclusion to the thriling Blood of a Fae series, I cannot wait for your next one!

The fourth and final book in the Blood of a Fae series was unfortunately a bit of a let down for me. That isn't to say you shouldn't read it, because I think you should! Especially if you liked the first books or you are a fan of fantasy romance.

I really enjoyed books 1-3 (book 2 will always be my favorite) but I found myself confused for too much of this book. As Morgan and Draven wrap up their story we also get the POV of her niece, Medra, who is having her Renesme moment and growing crazy fast. There is a giant battle that felt like a big climax of the book but ended up not meaning much and then the actual battle/climax wasn't as exciting to me. Also- lots of people die and the twists about the identities of many characters come in rapid succession.

I think what the book suffered from was having too many things to wrap up (Rychel leaving, Kaye being asleep, who Morgan is, who her Dad is, everything about Medra etc.). While I enjoyed seeing some of my favorite characters like Hawl and getting to see Draven and Morgan together mostly happy, there was so much going on and I was struggled to follow. Perhaps it all would have made more since if I had just read the first 3 books right before or if I was an avid note taker. Again, 3 stars isn't me saying it is a terrible book that you shouldn't read, just that I didn't enjoy it as much as the others in the series or other recent books and I just wish it had been less confusing of a conclusion.

This is a beautiful conclusion to this series! In the final installment of the Blood of Fae Series our FMC and MMC must leave Camelot to go and fight her father. They have the grail and Excalibur, and search to find the spear in order to destroy them. They must leave behind their niece In order to protect her, but as they are gone she ages more quickly than they expect. Through their hour why they battle more family members in order to end this war, culminating in an epic battle at the end.

I adored this series. I couldn’t it put it down. This entire world and series was so perfectly done. When we got the answers everything clicked into place.

This was such a wonderful story and complex world but didn’t feel overwhelming.

I adored Draven and Morgan and their whole relationship. The friendships that we saw grow throughout were idyllic. I am so sad it’s over.

This was definitely a top read for me and I couldn’t recommend it more.

Now for the spoilers

I did not see that ending coming! I wasn’t prepared and sobbed like a baby, I loved night-claw and every thing their relationship was.

This is a truly epic conclusion to the “Blood of a Fae” series. It’s book four in a Camelot-esque retelling and is dark, angsty, passionate, and full of adventure. I’m a huge fan of this series and its characters, and I’m a little sorry that it’s over. But so pleased at the overall series that I look forward to owning all of them in beautiful covers to display and be able to lend to those who ask why they’re so special.

In this book, we find Morgan Pendragon/LeFay/Venator pretty soon after the battle at the end of book 3. Kaye is still in a comatose state, and Morgan and Draven are together and raising Medra, daughter of Orcades, as Morgan promised. Very quickly, an attack happens in Tintagel that appears to be orchestrated by Morgan’s father, Gorlois, who is creeping into her dreams. The exmoors have been healing and drawing crowds of locals as they are using an old tower in the castle as a cat tree. Hawl and Lancelet and Guinevere are still around as are Galahad and his family and members of both the Court of Umbral Flames that travelled with Draven to the battle last book. When Morgan and Draven head out to take stock of what’s happening with the attack at Tintagel, they don’t really expect to dive in to battle, but they do, and their friends arrive just in time.

A lot of battle and court intrigue and revelations concerning Morgan’s past and half siblings come into play, there’s quite a bit of additional lore, unexpected magical transformation and some devastating loss that occurs. It’s a page turning adventure that never lets up, and there’s some incredible spice too! THE THRONE SCENE IS EVERYTHING. The LGBTQ rep is strong and is woven effortlessly into this book as the world Briar has built is
queer-normative and I love how it’s done.

There are still questions at the end, but I’m okay with that as it leaves the possibility open for more from these characters even if the core story of Morgan and Draven is wrapped up in this book.

I cannot recommend this series highly enough. I think about it all the time. It’s being added to my “comfort series” books for multiple future re-reads.

What a great ending to the series 🖤
I really felt for Morgan and Draven, this book was filled with death, loss and grief. I felt so sorry for Medra and her circumstances. It wasn’t fair at all 😭

There was so much action in this book, I was on the edge of my seat. The setting got real creepy at times so it really added to the atmosphere of the book. Briar is very descriptive in her writing so we would always get the complete picture of things, even to the tiniest details.

I’ll be honest, there was so many names in the series I got lost and couldn’t keep track of the goddesses/all the legends. So when there was the reveal I was kind of like huh whaaattt 😂 (I eventually understood and everything came together in the end)

Shadow daddy Draven come out to play in this book and he was hot!! The spicy scenes in this book were rougher, dirtier and in public!!

Overall I’d recommend this series if you love world building (it is a very descriptive series) politics, character development, magical creatures and powers, enemies to lovers, betrayal and action. There are a lot of darker scenes in this series so I would check the trigger warnings beforehand.

What a perfectly heartbreaking, fitting end to the series.
I can not believe all the ways this book broke my heart, and I loved every word.
We lose people we love, we lose people we hate, and hearts will be broken, but everything happens for a reason.
Draven and Morgan embrace who they are meant to be to the world and each other. I love that the spice did not overpower the plot and instead fit right in.
Read this if you love epic quests, hidden truths, and unending belief in what is right.

What an incredible and unexpected ending to this amazing series.

I really enjoyed the characters in this book. They have all changed and grown so much from book one and I've loved the journey.

This is dual POV between Draven and Morgan, although there is a third POV sprinkled through the book, which I thought was unique.

So much of this book felt epic and emotional, knowing I was reading the final book of the series.

The ending of this book had me on my toes and holding my breath. The author did not disappoint with this finale.

Four and a half simply because I wanted more for a certain young character but I'm hoping that just maybe she's in the spin off series coming ?
Ok I'm getting ahead of myself so must address my thoughts on this fabulous conclusion. Morgan is finding her feet as she's now running Camelot with the help of Draven and her trusted friends. Yet she's still desperate to rid the world of the three magical artefacts that her father created. Oh and if she can destroy him as well that's a huge bonus because he's definitely hunting her ! So when allies in a neighbouring kingdom are attacked of course Morgan will go to their aid but with a family like Morgan's you just never know exactly what or even who is coming for you !
Morgan is a steadfast character always absolutely set on doing the right thing no matter how hard. Pairing her with the uber protective Draven gives readers a powerful, balanced love story. If blunt for me the story didn't really take off until they were away from the Rose Court but when the action starts it's a fabulous reminder of the powers these Fae have and just how thoroughly evil and twisted the power hungry ones can be.
It's page turning, inspiring, sad too but the ending felt right and actually quite a revelation too and I have thoroughly enjoyed this series and already look forward to more from this author.

Book 4…perfection! Did we expect anything less 👀 NOPE! I’m not crying…you’re crying. I loved every single second of this and felt like I lost a best friend once I closed that final chapter, this was a massive page turner that I kept trying to slow down so it didn’t have to end. Briar tied up this series FLAWLESSLY. This series was such an incredible world and story. Briar doesn’t skimp on the rollercoaster of emotions, twists & turns in this and I can honestly say I kept talking to these characters through the book! Literal shock in places!

Morgan and Draven are utter perfection for me and I loved following them through the entire series and seeing them fall into place in this final book. If you want to fall in love with a beautiful world filled with darkness, romance and fantasy please do not hesitate with this series. You’ll be addicted!!

I’m so sad that I’m writing a downer of a review when I’ve read this series now to its completion. I was excited to see what became of all of the chaos that happened in the 3rd book. Unfortunately, this story didn’t connect with me like I hoped. I DNF around 60%. This was really battle heavy and had more new world building it which I wasn’t a fan of. If it was one epic battle I would have been fine but I felt like most was a different conflict happening. This one was just not my cup of tea sadly.

What an ending to an amazing series!!!!!

I just don't want this series to end. This book took me on an emotional rollercoaster and an epic journey that I haven't recovered from yet.

If you are looking for a Camelot retelling with a twist, look no further than this series!!!!

I loved this entire series. The first three books made my year amazing last year and then this is the fourth book, and it did not disappoint. I loved Morgan and Draven so much and the things that happen in this book kept me at the edge of the seat. The character development was amazing, and I can’t believe there was still more they could learn and develop even in the fourth book, but Briar Boleyn did it. There was way more action and fighting taking up space in this book than the first three. And I thought I learned my lesson after book 2 with the heartbreak but I was a pile of tears anyways by the end. 5 out of 5 stars, so perfect.

What a finale. It was a little slow for me in the beginning, but overall loved it. Hated to see the deaths of friends, a bit confused with the different names/lives of Morgan and Draven and the relationships with their pasts, overall I thought it was a good ending to the series.

This is a thrilling, unique and wonderfully depicted ending to a series that just set my imagination ablaze. This has fated mates, a shadow daddy, a reluctant warrior Empress, Fae magic wielders, battlecats and a superb gender swap of the Arthurian legends.

The world is so fully formed and the characters are fully fleshed, flawed and fabulously fun. There is great LGBTQIA representation and characters of all cultures depicted. The little nods to modern day conveniences - think baby slings and baby bottles, are funny little anachronisms.

As the mystery of her lineage unfurls, Morgan goes from strength to strength. Her little tribe of misfits follow her into battle again and again. That final twist really caught me unawares!

Draven is that perfect morally grey, shadow daddy hero we all want and Morgan the intelligent, mentally tough, loyal friend and very reluctant leader. I love that even though her friendship with Lancelet is fractured at times, they still turn up for each other. She makes an impact even on their newest allies and that is what makes the story so wonderful, Morgan is her own hero and she is very much the mover and shaker - Draven is HER sidekick!

I heartily enjoyed this quadrilogy and I've now added all of the authors other books into the TBR from hell! Please please please give this series a go!
