Right to the very end I was waiting on Nightclaw to appear, battered and worn but alive. It wasn’t meant to be though. I was so enthralled in this series that I had to take breaks from the intensity. I love the character development and suspense throughout. Each storyline was wrapped up nicely which gave us readers closure.
I truly did not want this series to end... I put off reading this last installment for as long as my curiosity would allow me to... about 3 days!
I am so glad that I read it, and it is not often that I leave a series happy with how and where everyone ended up, usually, there is at least 1 character I want justice for, but not in this case... it's perfection on a page! My only regret, the series is over!
Now to add the whole series to my kindle so I can relive it again and again and again... thank you Briar for this wonderful world you created for us to enjoy.
This took me so long to finish.... but not for any negative reasons.
You see, Briar's writing is so good that this series stole part of my soul and has kept it in its pages. I flatly refused to finish this book because I didnt want their story to end.
I'm obsesswd with Draven, and this unique Arthurian retelling had twists and turns, heartache and happiness, and most of all, the best romance adventure.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND this series forever.

This was another emotional book I absolutely loved! It is a book I wanted to go on forever! This was the first series I ever read by this author that was both awe-inspiring and brilliant. Definitely a romantic series romantasy readers do not want to miss. If you love ACOTAR you will definitely love Briar Boleyn just as music. A very talented author and I look forward to her next romantasy series too!’

Oh this final book… It’s not often I finish a series really happy with where everyone ended up. Briar Boleyn’s writing flows through effortlessly and keeps the action and character building balanced really well. I loved that even the main characters kept growing through to the end. I also loved that even in the final battle there were plot twists that kept me guessing. There was a better balance in Draven and Morgan's relationship, which made me happy once it was clear they were end game. Over all this a solid way to finish out a lovely, readable series.

Briar Boleyn...you have my heart! I just finished the final book and I am still shooked of this amazinghas masterpiece! This series has everything a romantasy lover needs like bonded mates, a strong female protagonist, and a supportive male lead. I repeat myself, but it's a must read for fans of ACOTAR, Fourth Wing and Blood and Ash. The world building ist outstanding, the Plot twists are jaw dropping and kept me hooked! I don't know how many times I gasped out loud. I had to take a few minutes to take a deep breath after finishing. This series is now one of my all time favourites!
A thrilling final installment to the Blood of Fae series! Thank you Briar Boleyn and Nettgalley for an Arc in exchange for an honest review!
I first started reading this series before I knew it was on Netgalley and I was fully enthralled then. These characters have had a really nice character growth and I am so happy to have read them. This story ends with constant battles, definitions of love, and magic galore. This was such a journey and I truly had fun with it.
Was it perfect? No. But I found myself being okay with that and I overall enjoyed it and had fun. The ending had so many bittersweet moments. I am so curious to see if the author decides to do more with this world. There is a LOT of potential. This story has so many elements that Romantasy lovers will enjoy.
I look forward to reading more books by this author. If you like Sarah J Maas, Lady of Darkness, and Camelot retellings, this is the series for you! Now that I am done the series, I do plan to purchase in physical copies!
I’ve found it very difficult to find a book series that comes close to ACOTAR. But this series is up there for me. Character development was excellent from book 1, with spice that doesn’t sacrifice the story and the character building. Paced well so I never wanted to put it down!
This author is one on my to buy list now!
Thank you to NetGalley and Starwater Press for the ARC
The final book in the series and I'm sad it's all over. I've had a great time reading these books and I've grown so fond of the characters and universe. It was a thrilling read and a great conclusion
I really did enjoy this book, but it didn't quite meet my high expectations for a finale. While it has its strengths, certain aspects left me wanting more.
One major issue I had was with the pacing of the battle scenes. They often ended too abruptly, leaving me feeling like the climax was missing. The Battle at Tintagel stood out, but overall, I was expecting more from the action sequences. This book does have the most action of the series, but the impact was somewhat diminished by the rushed endings. The portrayal of grief and loss unfortunately felt a bit flat. Normally, I get emotionally invested in character deaths, but this time, I didn't feel the same connection.
Morgan and Draven's journey through Arcaenum is filled with wild discoveries and personal growth. They are at their strongest both physically and character-wise. Their relationship is compelling, though some of their interactions were a bit corny. The dual perspectives of Morgan and Medra added depth, though Medra's rapid growth left some unanswered questions.
There were several plot points that felt underdeveloped, as if they were included just to tie up loose ends. This sense of rushing detracted from my overall enjoyment.
This book is good but not as enthralling as the previous installments. It's full of dark magic, found family, spicy romance, and action, making it a worthwhile read for fans of the series. The world-building remains top-notch, and there's a twist towards the end that's surprising. If you're into enemies-to-lovers romances or dark fae twists on King Arthur tales, this series is for you. Despite some flaws, I recommend checking out this series. It's been an enjoyable journey, and I'll be looking out for more from the author, Briar Boleyn.
Thank you to NetGalley, Briar Boleyn, and Starwater Press for the opportunity to review this series in exchange for an honest review. All thought and opinions are my own.
I have to say that as much as I enjoyed the series up until now, the final installment struck me as a little bit of a let down. The writing style seemed to change quite a bit and the prose felt really repetitive. At points it felt like I was just reading the same sentence over and over but just phrased differently. I’m slightly disappointed as I expected more from the fourth and final book but I will say that I’m glad I read it all the same because the character growth has been exponential. I ended up rating it a 3/5 stars.
Some moments in this books really made me sad. When they happened though, I felt like they were very brief. I almost would have liked to sit in it for a bit to experience what the characters were. I think this was to keep the pace of the book, but it made those moments less impactful. I did get a bit confused towards the end with all the moving parts, but i thought it was a fitting conclusion to this adventure. I love Briar Boleyn’s style of writing, and will definitely be getting future books from her. The detail in world building and scenes is wonderful. There is some spice… I'd say a 2 out of 5 for this book. Highly recommend this series!
Finish.. I finish and now I'm sad and processing and thinking in Morgan and Draven and everything.. And that part from the next book... My mind is running in who it is... Anyway I know the losses were important but I wanted more of Medra I do think she would made an amazing character to explore
Thank you NetGalley, the publisher, and Briar for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

“I’ve waited my entire lifetime for Morgan,”
✨️✨️✨️
Well.... where to start?! I was not emotionally prepared for where this book would take me. This is Morgan and Draven's final quest, and what a quest it was. There were so many turns I did not see coming, just when I had processed something, Briar was like BAM! here is something else, and I am here for it. Whilst I got upset, I loved how Briar wasn't afraid to do what she had do. When everything was finally revealed, it was not what I was anticipating, but it was so much better.

“There are no limits to my love for you, Morgan. When Myntra and Eskira and every place in Aercanum have crumbled into oblivion and the universe itself dissolves into nothing, my heart will still beat for you.”

I have felt so much for these characters over this series, but this was by far my favourite. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading these adventures!
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for this digital ARC in exchange for an honest review.
Knight of the Goddess was one of my most anticipated books this year, and it did not disappoint! This was the fourth and final book in the Blood of Fae series, and Briar did an excellent job on this series. While I can’t say Knight of the Goddess was my favorite book from Briar, it was still a really exciting and well written ending to a really great story. I can’t wait to see what’s next from Briar Boleyn!
This being a review for the final book in the series, there are unavoidable spoilers for the previous books ahead!
This story was a non-stop race from beginning to end and what a way to finish the series! The chaos of epic battles, loss, and crazy plot twist’s had my head spinning.
Morgan and Draven have come far as a couple, and are an epic team in battle. Their quest was a huge undertaking but I loved that they had the support of friends that refused to be left behind. So many things I could spoil so I’m keeping my lips sealed!
This rollercoaster of a series made me laugh, cry, and hold on tight- it’s definitely worth a read!
What a way to end a series! I couldn't wait to get to this one, screw the rest of the TBR! Briar Boleyn did not disappoint. A quest to destroy three powerful magical objects, Arthurian lore, magical creatures, powerful deities, action-packed sequences and sinful scenes. One could not ask for more in a gift-wrapped package of a finale.
This series deserves the hype! READ THIS if you like King Arthur & Camelot re-tellings, ACOTAR, or From Blood & Ash.
I'm furious bc this series had so much potential, I really liked books 1 & 2 but since then it all started to go downhill. and this ending?? it wasn't really an ending. too many plot holes and so many things happening while also being super boring. I'm sad to say I wasn't a fan of the final book of the Blood of Fae series.
Wow! What an ending! The final of four books in the series, and its evident that Briar Boleyn knew exactly what epic journeys her characters were going to go on. This finale was everything I hoped for.
*Must read in order.
I absolutely loved every minute of this epic fantasy!
Thank you so much author Briar Boleyn and NetGalley for the unique opportunity to ARC all four books in this series. This last one was a show stopper!
It’s the last book of the Blood of Fae series and it couldn’t be better than the other books! It’s a fantastic book with a good character development and suspense throughout the story, the ending was amazing!!
