OMGOODNESS!!!!!!! This book is adorable/hilarious and clever!!! As a new mom of a tiny human um sorry "bag of organs" I am laughing out loud in my sleep deprived state. Though I'm not yet a parent, myself, I still enjoyed this book for its cute illustrations and sound advice with a bit of darkened flare. Goth Parenting hits shelves on September 3, 2024.

I loved everything about this book! The artwork is perfect and the vibe is perfect for all parents, but especially those that are not traditional. As a parent, the advise is spot on, short, sweet and concise. This would make a great gift. I loved it all around.

It gives great advice and super cute design with humor. It's not just a phase! Goth parents want to raise their baby right, too, maybe with just a little less pink. Their baby will hit the same milestones and need the same safety as every other baby on the block. And will think their Goth parents are totally lame, too.

Beautiful illustrations. So funny, witty, and tongue in cheek with actual good advice for parents of every age. Quirky and relatable illustration. Perfect gift for any goth or alternative parent.

What an adorable book!! I do believe there are tips that even a non-goth parent would enjoy. I am an out-of-the-box kind of person, and I loved that the parents in. this book were out of the box, and the kids were just fine. :)

While I liked the tips a lot, the illustrations are really what makes this book stand out. The illustrations are incredible and well worth your time.

As a Goth mom... this book was fantastic! Done in more of a children's book style, but definitely speaking to adult Goth parents, this was so cute and informative in a way that you, as again, a Goth parent, need to hear sometimes. The illustrations were lovely and so inclusive! I may end up buying a physical copy of this book when it releases to keep on my shelves.

Despite being a happily child-free goth, this fun little book still managed to fully entertain me. For a second, I almost even felt like maybe I was missing out by not doing the whole mom thing lol

I was absolutely living for all of the witty puns and nods to the artists and films that I so adore, which Gilly melded seamlessly into the book without ever making it feel heavy-handed or forced. Now I have the most perfect gift idea for all of my friends who are expecting their own baby bats!

I'm not really sure what I expected out of this. It was alright. I feel like it did provide some basic general parenting tips. I enjoyed the gothic art style that was used. However, it doesn't really do much of anything. It would be a cute little gift for a first-time parent if the style fits or a little coffee table book.

Goth Parenting is a cute, funny, and charming book for goth parents and non-parents alike! Not only is it funny, it has some genuinely good advice for new parents along with some cheeky references to goth culture. It also has great spooky cute art by Robin Robinson. Whether you have your own brood of baby bats or just live on the dark side, you'll enjoy this book.

What a fun reminder that parenting can be what you want it to be. It’s a reflection of you. It’s not always that serious.

This little book almost read like an oracle or affirmation deck to me. I could easily see myself turning to a random page each day and taking on the short parenting tip it gave me.

This book is full of short and sweet parenting tips and reminders to help you get ideas, feel grounded as a parent in a stressful situation, and to laugh a little.

An adorable illustrated guide for parenting full of humor.
This isn't so much a self help book as it is a humor book for the coffee table. It'll be a great addition to a goth baby shower gift basket (please gift it with diapers and other necessary items tho).
While most of its focused on the excellent art (looking into more of that because I would adore a graphic novel of goth parents more than this book tbh) there are some great tips like "adjust your own expectations (and remove the pressure of 'perfection')"
It was such a fun read as a goth parent of a lil batling. The horror and goth subculture references made me laugh and the art is so good I want a physical copy and some prints.

There are a lot of silly parenting books out there with quips and advice about wrangling your toddler, but this is one of the more fun ones that I’ve come across. The light hearted (errrrr…. Dark?) take on parenting and learning that your kid will become their own little person! Highly recommend as a gift for a new parent, especially those that maybe lack some color in their wardrobe…. Thanks to NetGalley for an early review copy, all opinions are my own.
