I started making note of all the stories so I could share my favorite of the bunch, but my list included every cat in the book. Heartwarming stories that share what a little extra love can do to change the life of these sweet babies. 🥰

Rescue Cats by Traer Scott is loaded with adorable pictures and heartwarming stories of beautiful kittens and cats that are getting the chance to live their best lives. I have been a cat lover since I was extremely little, and have always been drawn to them. We currently have five cats, two are rescues. The book has so many interesting stories that draw the heartstrings. I love seeing the resilience in this magnificent babies, and the families and caregivers that see the beauty and wonder in trying what others won’t or can’t. The photos definitely make you smile, and I could look at those adorable photos all day.

I used to volunteer in a very small rescue and it was shocking how many of our pets had been mistreated. However, that didn't keep them from being wonderful, sweet, loving creatures who found happy homes. This book has a gorgeous collection of cats with short stories of how they were rescued and how they are living happily ever after. It's so heartwarming and the pictures are amazing. The photos are candid shots that show how much personality these gorgeous cats have, and it's so cute when they're looking at the camera. Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this

As always, Traer Scott put together lovely photographs with wonderful stories, some that even make you cry. I tore through this book so quickly because of how much I loved his book on rescue dogs. I remember lingering on some photos and re-reading some stories and Traer Scott just puts me in a state of awe and admiration for the people who love their pets as much as I love mine, which I didn't think was possible (which, I'm sure, is what every pet lover says). A quick read and a great joy, I highly recommend Traer Scott's work.

I am a huge animal lover and have taken in many stray, sick or injured cats. This book is perfect for anyone who loves animals. The photos are gorgeous and the stories are heartwarming. I will come back to this book often because of this. I would love to see more of these books from the author. Would love to see black cats featured in a book. Thank you also to the author for fostering and working with TNR.

I am a cat person. I was so excited to receive an ARC to Rescue Cats. With beautiful pictures of the cats that really showcase their individual personalities, and the (some heartbreaking) stories of how they found their forever homes and forever people, this book tugged at my heartstrings in the best way.
Thank you Netgalley and Chronicle Books | Princeton Architectural Press for giving me the opportunity to read and review this lovely book.

The photos in this book are beautiful and capture the regal nature of cats perfectly. The stories about each of the cats are thoughtfully written. Because the book focuses on rescue cats, each story starts with some mention of animal cruelty, abandonment, and/or injury, which could be distressing to some readers, but the stories have happy endings. I loved reading these stories about such resilient kitties!
Thank you to Princeton Architectural Press and NetGalley for the ARC in exchange for my honest review.

As an avid cat lover with three rescues, I knew I would love this book! I wish I could pet every cat in this book and hug the people that helped save them. This book is perfect for all animal lovers, especially cat lovers and anyone involved or interested in rescue work. I often see fundraisers or posts about sick or disabled cats at my local humane society, and it was so heartwarming to read similar stories and see the cats healthy and happy now.
I received an ARC from Princeton Architectural Press via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This book is an absolute gem. I am a rescuer and have had kittens with many of the disabilities that face kittens born to feral moms. I currently have a one eyed blind kitty, who lost his entire family to feline leukemia. Poots is surprisingly negative. I also have a TNR feral kitty with feline aids (FIV) who is living his best life indoors. I can relate to all these stories and I love that they have had such positive outcomes. Many do not. The stories are heartwarming and the photos of each cat are beautifully done. I will be using this information with in my speech therapy sessions to advocate and also teach the importance of spay and neuter, but also giving all kitties their best lives.
Thanks you #netgalley #papress for the ARC of a beautifully and informational book.

This precious book with gorgeous photos and stories about rescued felines will grab your heart and not let go. Shows how the life of a vulnerable animal can be changed by one loving home. A must-read for all cat lovers!
