Artist Britt Branch and Hunter Pickett meet on her on-line art classes, they meet in person but are both keeping secrets from each other. There is also Amy Branch, Britt's Mother and her Father Daniel Branch, they will all have things to overcome in this well written, engaging story. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending. This is a new Author to me. I received a copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

So Into You is a sweet, heartwarming story about a girl learning to love herself and gain confidence in who she is with the love of a boy who loves unconditionally. A few times in the storyline, I wished the characters would "get it together" a little more quickly, and I saw the big unraveling coming after about a quarter of the way through the story, but it was still an enjoyable read!

Kathleen Fuller’s book, So Into You, was an enjoyable rom-com about people overcoming their own personal fears to find love. This was an enjoyable read and I give this book 5 stars. This would be a great addition to anyone’s clean, Christian, romance shelf. I look forward to more books by this author. I received this book as a review copy from the publisher.

I sometimes have a hard time reading new adult romances but this one was pretty good and rooted in some real stuff that folks have to get through. There was a usual a little too much secret keeping that created the conflict

I absolutely LOVED this book! The clean romance weaved through all the characters was very sweet, as was the overarching story of forgiveness and redemption. This story is a great reminder that people can change with God's help and love, further being an example of how we should love others.

A Louisiana Christmas to Remember is a collection of three interconnected romances set in the fictional Louisiana town of Moreau, which is loosely based on Natchitoches, the oldest European settlement in Louisiana

A Louisiana Snow by Morgan Tarpley Smith
This is the story of Mattie Hayes, small-town journalist and organiser extraordinaire, who is organising the Christmas market to raise funds to restore the local chapel after it was damaged in a recent hurricane. This means working with Paul Ammons, her long-time rival since he beat her to become high school valedictorian and won a coveted scholarship to Paris.

Restoring Christmas by Betsy St. Amant
This is the story of Jolene, Mattie’s artist cousin, who is hired at the last minute to repaint the town mural, and Cameron, Jolene’s new boss.

A Christmas Reunion by Lenora Worth
This is the story of Mattie’s aunt … and I don't want to say too much more about it, because that will ruin the surprise.

My favourite story was Mattie’s, perhaps because she is the character I related to best, and perhaps because I’m a big fan of friends/frenemies to more stories. My least favourite story was Adala’s, because even though I know these are made-up stories, I’m not a fan of controlling parents who go out of their way to do what they want rather than seeking what’s best for their child (as God does for us).

I loved the way the three stories were separate but intertwined. Even though they are all standalone stories and all set at the same time it’s best to read them in order, as each story introduces situations and characters that become more relevant in the next story.

It’s also fun to see the came characters from different points of view. In the first story, Mattie has definite opinions about Jolene and whether she can be trusted, but Jolene’s story explains why she is how she is.. I enjoyed seeing Granny Eloise in all three stories as well, as the mentor figure able to give advice whether it’s wanted or not.

The three stories combine to provide a heart-warming Christmas set of Christian romances, even if the Louisiana snow is a far cry from the sunshine I am used to at Christmas.

So into you you was a cute story. It starts off slow, as there are several characters you have to get to know. But as time goes by, you get to know and love each of them. I wouldn't say it was majorly Christian fiction, but it isna clean romance (some side comments though). I loved watching Britt & Hunter fall in love, while overcoming (many) obstacles. Stick with it. Worth reading.

**the story does deal with alcoholism and anxiety.**

So Into You by Kathleen Fuller

Rating: 4/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Thank you to the publisher, Netgalley, and the author for access to this book in exchange for an honest review! I received the digital ebook and audio ARCs of So Into You from the publisher via NetGalley.

So Into You is an excellently written book that highlights some of the tougher parts of life, while simultaneously remaining lighthearted and positive. It explores the subject of mental health through the story of Britt, an artist with social anxiety, and Hunter, a reformed alcoholic. Their unexpected friendship grows into a meaningful relationship marked by healing and hope.

It’s told through the point of view of four characters- Britt, Hunter, along with Britt’s parents, Amy and Daniel. The multiple perspectives work well and I was thrilled to see the progression of the story through multiple POVs.

Overall, this is a wonderful story that’s primarily about letting go of insecurities, taking a leap of faith, forgiving oneself and others, and second chances. This is a clean romance with abounding joy, love, and light. Highly recommend!

The audiobook version of So Into You is very well done. It kept me engaged throughout with fantastic pacing and tone. It’s super easy to stay connected to the characters and plot with the audiobook.

Britt Branch, a popular YouTube art instructor, has severe social anxiety that keeps her housebound other than outings with her mom, Amy, or her best friend and only friend, Savannah. When Savannah announces her engagement and asks Britt to be her maid of honor, it is a huge request. Britt wants to do this, but it is a huge step outside her comfort zone. When she announces that she wants to stretch herself during one of her videos, Hunter Pickett reaches out to her. As Britt and Hunter’s conversations online pick up, they eventually run into each other through a chance meeting at Britt’s favorite art store. Hunter is confident, sexy, and not afraid to take a chance. But Hunter has his demons... he’s a recovering addict and is estranged from his wealthy family.

I was hooked on this book the second I opened it. I immediately got excited about every little thing that happened. We’re talking 11% in. That’s so rare! I felt so much joy over Britt’s transformation throughout the book. And Hunter is realistic and down-to-earth, which makes him a wonderful book boyfriend. There is also a secondary romance involving Britt’s mom, Amy. I felt very connected to Amy as a mother. Worrying about a child does not stop simply because they are adults, especially when the child has an emotional disorder.

This is one of the best, if not the best, reads of 2024. I recommend this to anyone who enjoys closed-door romances with bad boys, women who’ve sworn off relationships, and who always cheer for opposites to attract.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book which I received from Thomas Nelson Fiction through NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

I dnfed this fairly early on for a few reasons. The first reason is that I felt like it focused on too many characters. It was distracting when it would cut to the mom's story because I just wasn't invested in that one as much as the main characters. Another reason was I didn't feel like the anxiety rep was genuine because the fmc had tried numerous strategies to overcome it or help with it and still struggled with it. Then the mmc enters her life and all of a sudden she thinks she can retry something she already did and it would magically disappear. I just wasn't feeling this at all.

The story of Britt and Hunter. An opposites attract romance. I liked both characters and wanted everything to work out for them. I liked how it was told from the different points of view.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
It took me until about halfway through this book to REALLY start enjoying it. This book is told through the perspectives of FOUR characters- Britt and Hunter, and Britts's parents, Amy and Daniel, which I thought was a bit much initially, but I was happy to see all these perspectives by the end. I really didn't expect to be as invested in Daniel and Amy's story as I was but I think they ended up being my favorite part of the book. This is a book about letting go of insecurities, taking leaps of faith without knowing how things will end up, forgiveness, redemption and second chances. All things I love in a book.
The formatting of this book was a little wonky, with random line breaks in the middle of a sentence, some words weren't spaced apart properly and I had to reread a few sentences to understand what was going on. I trust that this will be resolved by the time of publishing though.
This was a good, lighthearted read and I definitely would love to read more Kathleen Fuller books in the future!

So Into You started off great in introducing a main character struggling with severe social anxiety, and I felt like the author did a wonderful job capturing what that might feel like. While I’m know social anxiety differs from person to person, I definitely appreciated reading about Britt’s experiences and felt like it gave me a bit more understanding of how it might be to live with severe social anxiety.

The story became a bit confusing to me when suddenly the subplot of Britt’s parents came, especially since it wasn’t mentioned in the book synopsis, yet ended up taking about 50% of the focus of the story.
Because of the two plots happening at the same time, it felt like I didn’t manage to fully get into in either storyline. Even though Britt and Hunter are supposed to be the main characters, I kept forgetting they weren’t secondary characters because of how the dual plot is balanced.

It would be a wonderful and cute love story for someone who enjoys a slow-paced and clean opposites attract/friends to lovers story with mental health and addiction representation, however for me it just didn’t manage to hook me. It felt like too much was happening at once, yet most of it didn’t feel important to the story and just felt distracting. At the same time, I felt like I kept waiting for a hook to come, but it just fell too flat for me.

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for allowing me to read an advanced digital copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thoughts and opinions to follow are totally my own!

This book had some really good aspects. Hunter is actually really adorable for one. He seemed like a well-rounded character. Daniel? Fascinating and sweet redemption arc. Maude? Just the right amount of meddlesome! And Savannah, though a minor character (which I find extremely odd), was completely reasonable in my head.
Now… the mum… she was a lot to handle. I don’t want to say I disliked her character, but I did visibly cringe at one point (as I typed that I realized it should be TWO points). Her character is flawed, but I don’t think she was written poorly if that makes sense. She is how some people act on real life, so kudos to the author for grasping that cringe-inducing protectiveness and love so well.
Onto Britt. I am saddened by this character. I think the potential was sooo good, and some aspects are great, but I think she fell a little flat. There wasn’t a ton of depth in her character. On top of that, she had no understanding/empathy at times which makes no sense to me! Her decisions at some moments just made me upset.

Onto the plot.
I kinda loved the concept. The execution was a little dicey at times and quite far fetched (would have been creepy IRL), and I was actually entertained. I looked forward to the scenes where they were meeting and chatting. I was also even invested in the side plot with the dad, the mum, and with Hunter’s family. I was enjoying the read. What I loved even more was that the characters were Christian, but it wasn’t super blatant, and they still went around like real people (books can get very religious when they are written by Christian authors), but this was mostly just a clean romance. The mention their faith, but it doesn’t shove it down your throat with weird conversations and such. I also really liked that they addressed their thoughts on sex. How reasonable, and so rare, for a Christian book to mention that (at least the ones I have read). I am impressed that they brought that topic up, and I think they did it well. Hunter really was a good character for it tbh. He a cutie. 😂

Tbh, I think what really solidified the 3star rating was the end. I like people having their own individual big moments. You know when someone declares life changing news at someone else’s wedding? It wasn’t that but it had that thunder-stealing vibe. It’s a no-no for me.

Overall, I was entertained though, so I am quite glad that I read it!

Every now and then I need a good rom-com and So Into You sure fit the bill! Britt and Hunter come from very different backgrounds but they learn to make it work as they work through issues like forgiveness, anxiety and pasts with drugs and bad behavior. Very sweet romance that made a Thanksgiving plane trip even better!

Thank you NetGalley for the opportunity to read and review. All opinions are my own.

While I know Kathleen Fuller more from her books that feature the Amish, I've also been impressed with her contemporary romance stories. Her characters are always unique, with issues that love is finally able to cover. So Into You brings together Britt Branch and Hunter Pickett in a way that only God could orchestrate.

Britt has a successful YouTube channel, where she teaches all kinds of art from drawing to sculpture to painting. She is confident behind her camera, but she has one BIG problem. Her severe social anxiety has made going out in public nearly impossible. She still attends church with her mother and goes to K & B Art Supply (on Mondays when no one else is there) but just thinking about going anywhere that people congregate is enough to send her hear rate into orbit and cause her sweat glands to over-produce. When her best friend asks her to be her maid of honor, instead of jumping at the chance, she asks to think about it. Can she set aside her anxiety to be there for her friend? She knows she wants to change, but even her years of therapy haven't helped.

Hunter Pickett grew up with every advantage. Gorgeous? Check. Athletic? Check. Wealthy family? Check. The third son in a family of over-achievers, Hunter made his mark by getting in trouble. His life was one big party, complete with drinking, drugs, and any woman he wants, until he lands in jail. a wake up call that turns his life completely around. Now, he's 3 years sober in a dead-end job still trying to find his place in the world. His parents went "no contact" with him, back when he was carousing, so he doesn't feel their support. Landing on Britt's channel is a fluke, but her voice soothes his spirit somehow and she intrigues him. Not only that, he finds that he can finally sleep, something that's been difficult without his former crutches of drugs and alcohol.

As Hunter starts chatting with Britt, he discovers a thoughtful, witty woman that he'd like to know better. When she confides her social anxiety, he thinks he can help her. He talks her into giving him art lessons in exchange for helping with her anxiety. They both still have secrets, but secrets have a way of coming out. When their secrets detonate, more than just their relationship is at risk. Will Britt retreat to her safe space, never to be seen again, or will she finally choose to live?

I loved so much about this story! Britt is all but agoraphobic. She does leave the house, but only goes to places she won't see other people. Yes, she was bullied as a child, but her parents' marriage tipped her over the edge. Now that her dad is sober, he is trying to make amends - which has helped - but it also makes her lie to her mother about who she spends time with. When Hunter steps into her life, she can't believe that a gorgeous man like him could ever be interested in someone like her. Hunter sees all the good things, not the neurotic mess she sees in the mirror. Hunter was a great leading man, in my opinion.

Readers who enjoy contemporary romance with a smattering of faith throughout, will love So Into You. The characters have their quirks and foibles, but they are working through them with grace. I loved the story!

This story was really cute and fun. I loved how all the pieces of the story fit together and I liked the dynamics of the different characters and how their stories intersected. I wasn’t wild about a couple of the ending elements which presented me from giving it 5 stars but overall I enjoyed the read.

This was a nice "palate cleanser" type read. It felt almost like more of a novella- I think due to the time taken away from Brittany/Hunter's story to focus on Britt's parents. I did find it to be a bit infuriating when it would switch POV's at times, but I did ultimately end up appreciating Amy and Daniel's story as well. I'm very glad it was included! However, the last several chapters of the book felt extremely rushed. It was very much so a feeling of "oop better hurry up and fix all these issues! everything's all better now!". The ending scenes just felt so out of place and awkward, like "how and why is this happening??". Despite the rushed ending though, the book still pulls off a 3 star rating due to the sweet fluff! Not to mention, as someone with an anxiety disorder, I also really loved the anxiety representation and found Brittany to be almost TOO relatable. And I'm sorry if this is a spoiler, but I appreciate that Brit's anxiety wasn't portrayed as simply magically disappearing one day- that really means alot. I found all of the characters to be so so loveable, and they really carried the story for me! I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a wholesome, Christian romance! ♡

This was not a bad book. I just wishes it would of have been done a little different. Having the backstory given by the parent of the main character was so confusing, other than that, I really enjoyed it if I quickly skimmed over those POVs. I liked it for a cozy read, something cute and funny.

The parts that I liked, I really liked, but those I didn’t t, they really threw the mood for me. I will still love to see what else this author can write.

This was the first book I've read by Kathleen Fuller. It started slower for me, but once I was able to get to a quiet spot to read and immerse myself into it, I couldn't put it down. I needed to know how it would all work out. We get two romances in one with this book. I really liked the characters, but the story was a bit depressive throughout. It was probably very realistic though. There were moments when I smiled and laughed. Good friends are hard to find. I felt my heart breaking for Hunter and Britt and I definitely got frustrated with Britt's mom, Amy. But we get a heart-warming ending that left me smiling when closing the book. Not entirely what I was expecting with a Christian romance. 3.5 stars overall.
