Well that made me cry. Every parent needs this book. I love the illustrations in this book. I will definitely be recommending this one to everyone.

First and foremost, I want to say thank you for dad bod representation! My husband is 6’5” and a thicker build, so I see so much more of him in this book than all the others.

This made tears well up in my eyes because I love seeing this cultural shift to fathers playing with their kids, showing not just love but affection, and words of affirmation. My father was not that way with me and I love seeing my children having an incredible father.

I am going to buy this for Father’s Day, I loved the story and message!

A sweet picture book about a dad’s love for his son. The art was my favorite part. I appreciated the dad’s big body size and loving manner.

Made for Me is one of the sweetest picture books that I have read. It follows a father & their immediate love for their new baby.

The illustrations were adorable & I loved how giant the illustrator made the father in comparison to the baby. He was also depicted as gentle, kind, and loving as he watched his baby grow for the first couple of years.

Here's a sweet love letter from Dad to his new little tyke that's sure to tug at your heartstrings and put a smile on your face. It's just adorable with a capital A. And, I loved the illustrations by Gregorio De Laurentis that depict Daddy as a gentle giant.

This is a special book. I highly recommend parents reading/sharing this book to their children. This book reassures a child they were made for their parents. “Of all the children that ever could be, you are the one made just for me.” This book was written for infants through preschool.
This book was illustrated by Gregorio De Laurentis. The illustrations are beautifully done with vibrant colors, sharp lines and amplifying the difference in sizes.
In this delightful tale we meet a father, meeting his tiny child for the very first time. He snuggles, changes diapers, plays with, feeds, bathes, and comforts his tiny son. From the moment the father wakes up each morning he rushes to the side of his tiny son. The father is excited to spend time playing, educating, and loving his child. “Of all the children that ever could be, you are the one made just for me.”
Made For Me demonstrates a father’s love for his children. Fathers play an important role in the life of their child. This book would be a great Father’s Day gift, a shower gift, a birthday gift or a just because gift.

I used this books for Dad and child day at school and the dad’s and children enjoy it and connected with the book.

Superlatively well done, this love letter from a father to a child shows fine wit, in amongst the sentiment, which works as opposed to ladling on the cheese, typical gift book fashion. What heightens everything is that the father here is a humongous blob of masculinity – under a brick coloured shirt with brick-styled texture/print to it too. Compared to that the baby is a leaf of fragile humanity, seemingly able to be blown away more easily than it is to be held at finger-tips. We have books aplenty in this category, that act as pictorial messages of devotion, and we ought to have the people able to declare it in ways not too dissimilar to what we have here. But the visual contrast and the sincere warmth here do make this stand out as something so much better than many similar volumes. The couplets are very strong, keeping their rhythm, the refrain in the text is glorious, and while it would help the father character here doesn't have to be matched by real life for this to really, really work, and to be really, really appreciated. Four and a half stars.

Made for Me was such a sweet read; I actually cried. The illustrations were vibrant and eye catching for my little one and she loved looking at the pictures. The rhymes were also really fun and easy to keep my daughters attention. I loved that it was a book that didn't give a gender to the child in the writing. All children will be able to enjoy this book and have it feel like it's about them! After reading, I actually purchased a copy for my husband for his first Father's Day. I thought it was absolutely brilliant and so well written. Perfect for babies and kids.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! I don't even have anything bad to say about it. Illustrations were drawn and colored beautifully, in lighter tones which matched the mood of the book perfectly. The story was so sweet, it almost made me tear up. This book is going to be loved by parents and children alike. Lastly, the rhyming wasn't forced at all, and moved the story at an even and smooth pace.

Made for Me is one of the best children’s books I have ever read. It tells about a dad and his child, and how the child was made perfectly for him. It is so relatable as a parent, and I love how it features a father as the main character of the story. Definitely recommend to anyone with children.

This is sweet bedtime read for parent and child. I enjoyed the illustration and overall message of awe and wonder at becoming a new parent, as well as the nostalgic joy of watching your child grow. I did feel that the rhyming of the main refrain was slightly off. Overall, though. it is a cute story.

This is one of our favorite books! I gifted this to my husband for his first Father’s Day and put my son’s footprints on the inside. He loved it. We laugh because the dad in the book looks very similar to my husband. It’s always so special when my son wants him to read this! Highly recommend for dads!

This ebook is for little kids. I would say infants through preschool would be the target audience for this digital board book. This one is written for the parents, and I absolutely teared up as I read it to my 2 yr old grandson.

While in a mood set for thinking of fathers, this book crossed my path. Made for Me reminded me of the skewed perspective of childhood when one is a little bit of a human and the new outside-of-mom world has giants spread round about. Passed from giant to giant it continues until a leveling process grows the little bit of human and giants grow smaller. The illustrations by Gregorio De Laurentis sell every word with which the author beckons, his swingy rhythm setting a body rocking.

The only thing I was missing was a grandkid by my side, but I'll get my chance with her on Saturday, and we'll check this book out together. I'll pull her out of her 6'9" Dad's arms, but he's so fond of her he'll probably stay close by as we read. She was his surprise, and made for him, as you might suppose.
