Thank you to Netgalley and Kathy Sullivans team for an early access copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This is a great book for anyone that is just beginning to start digging into motherhood themed mental health. There are some great visuals in the book for visual learners. The workbook prompts are also incredibly useful. Although, working in this field I can appreciate the focus on this book, I was not a fan of the overall writing of the book, the material is much needed though and incredibly useful for new moms or someone who is new to this research.
This was an exceptionally well-written book. I enjoyed every page of it, and I think a lot of readers would do well to read it benefit by its advice.
A great source of information and encouragement for moms. I appreciated the anecdotes and the voice of the author.
Thank you Netgalley and the publisher for an ecopy of this book. Opinions are my own.
As a mom who had 3 under 3 5 years ago and that age gap now I most certainly put myself last more often than not. This was a quick easy read, and I loved this perspective on being a mom. It is hard to remember to fill your cup, or you won't have anything to give the people that depend on you.
“In hindsight, I’m amazed at all of the things I have been through and have not only survived but have come out stronger on the other side.”
This quote really spoke to me, and I’m sure it will to some of you as well 🫶🏻
I received a free copy of Moms Eat First from Performance Publishing in exchange for an honest review — but you know, didn’t actually get around to reading it until after the publishing date because… #MomLife
Once I was able to get into it, this was a super easy and quick read. There were so many different points and perspectives, and I would recommend this to all of the moms out there — whether an expectant mom, new mom, or mom whose babies are all grown.
I love a good self help book, and I love being a mom — so this was a killer combo for me.

This was a quick, easy read. As a mom that works full time I often put myself last. My son, husband, home, job, extended family all come first, but this book gave great tips for changing that without feeling guilty.
