Sometimes you need a sweet romance to read after a lot
Of heavy reading. This fits the bill. Though the story goes deep it is sweetly written. This is the first book by this author and I enjoyed it because it is a clean read and I enjoyed the characters.
Thanks for the advanced copy to the publisher and net galley.

I have read quite a few books by Amy Clipston and this one read a bit differently. Maybe it was because there wasn’t a Christian component, Nevertheless the story was sweet and the romance was “clean”. I enjoyed the storyline and the character were mostly like able - however at times they reacted very immaturely with each other. And I found myself getting annoyed.

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for an advanced copy. All comments are my own.

I appreciated this sweet, easy, chaste story. I loved how the author dived into some heavy topics like adoption, organ failure/donation, loss of a loved one, and kept it light enough that I could read it without feeling depressed. The relationships were well fleshed out, but I most appreciated that the romance in this book was very chaste. The unmarried pairs slept in different places, which is so unusual to read about these days, and it was a breath of fresh air! I could safely hand this book to my teenager or my grandmother.

This was a sweet romance. I thought the audio was done well. There were so many issues that both characters had I was afraid it would bother me, but it all comes together and makes sense!

I want to express my thanks to #NetGalley #Amy Clipston and #Thomas Nelson for providing me with an advance reader copy and audiobook of Finding You. I loved this light-hearted read! While the plot included some serious topics, the characters typically navigated these areas with maturity, healthy communication, and grace. Finding You is a relatable story with a Hallmark feel. I love to have stories like this in my reading stack.

Thank you #netgalley for the ARC of this audiobook.

A beautiful chance meeting romance that will have your heart smiling. It broaches many hard subjects of loss, illness, hurt, adoption, and abandonment in such a beautiful telling of love. I can’t wait for the rest of this series to come out.

4.5 stars This was a good audiobook and book. I liked the narration a lot. The story kept me interested. carter and Darcy are an amazing couple. The book also brings more awareness to the importance of organ donation and educates about shared/paired kidney donation. There was a small aspect of the story that I didn’t like, but it still was an enjoyable book. I got an advanced “readers” copy of the audiobook from netgalley , but my review is unbiased.

I just finished reading a sweet and cozy romance about Darcy and Carter, who both have kidney disease and have received transplants. They meet when Darcy's car breaks down and Carter, a mechanic, helps her out. As they become friends, a potential romance starts to blossom between them. However, both Darcy and Carter are reluctant to share their health struggles, fearing that it might change the way the other person sees them. The author, Clipston, has a personal connection to the topic of kidney disease and transplants, which adds depth to the characters' experiences. Despite some unrealistic situations in the story, overall, it's a heartwarming read that can evoke strong emotions. While the adults might lack communication skills and self-esteem, the book still delivers a satisfying romance. If you enjoy sweet and heartwarming stories, this book is definitely worth a read.

A fun and easy read, Finding You was my first book by Amy Clipston. I loved how "normal" the characters were with normal people jobs and challenges of life. I found the medical issue of the story intriguing and loved that it worked out for the characters. There were times during the story that it felt a little unbelievable that two people would care about each other so much and not share a major aspect of their life. Overall however I enjoyed the love story! A great listen.

I can't decide which I enjoy more. Amish Fiction or Contemporary Romance. Amy Clipston can write anything! She's great at creating a world that comes alive in the readers mind & makes us long for her books to be Hallmark movies. I had read Clipston's non-fiction book 'A Gift of Love' which she wrote about her experience donating a kidney in a similar situation as explained in 'Finding You.' I couldn't help but to picture Amy as Darcy & her husband Joe (who is also a mechanic) to Carter. I tried not to, because their stories are different (which, you'll realize once you read 'A Gift of Love'). In the beginning, when Darcy & Carter meet, it's THE cutest meet-cute!! I was hooked & listened to the audiobook within a matter of days. I couldn't listen to anything else. Thank you.

Finding You is a nice Christian Romance. Darcy and Carter are both living life post transplant and, in Darcy's case, also after the loss of her fiancé.

This is a really sweet story about a chance meeting ending up being so much more. Darcy is trying to live after the loss of her fiancé, a death she feels responsibility for since he was picking up her medication. Carter is trying to get his life back together after medical debt from his transplant acquired him some hefty debt.

I really enjoyed this one! Thank you to NetGalley, HarperCollins Christian publishing and Amy Clipston for the opportunity to read and review this story.

This was such a heartwarming, I loved the characters and the way that their love story blossomed, and their ability to try and move on after the trauma and emotions that they have both been through.

Darcy meets Carter when her car won't start before shes off to a meeting for work and then they keep meeting spontaneously and eventually love begins to blossom. They are just the cutest.

I also lived the fact that you could tell the author was so connected to the story, with her husbands experience of a kidney transplant.

Thank you NetGallery for the advanced audio copy of Finding You, in exchange for an honest review.

The first book I read by Amy Clipston was the first book I remember that made me SOB, so I was so excited for this one, but I felt like it fell flat. Darcy and Carter are falling for each other, they both had kidney transplants, and they’re both afraid to tell the other about their medical issues. I felt like both characters were so immature, and if they had just opened their mouths, everything would have been fine. Carter was a very depressing character and was always so down on himself (“oh woe is me” vibes) that his perspective was hard to read. And he got mad at Darcy and ended their relationship for doing the exact thing he was doing to her. It was sooooo frustrating, because their love story had great potential, but their immaturity ruined everything. It felt more like I was reading about teenagers than fully-grown adults. The resolution was also way too fast. I would honestly skip this one 🤷🏼‍♀️

Many thanks to NetGalley, Thomas Nelson, and Zondervan Fiction Audio for the opportunity to read before pub day! ALC was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. FINDING YOU is out now!

I’m so thankful to of had the opportunity to listen tot his ARC. I got 64% of the way through and unfortunately I’m going to have to stop there. It’s not grabbing my attention. I feel as if I’m forcing myself to read it. I found it to be very predictable. It’s a sweet story for someone that may not read a lot or maybe wants to dip their toe into contemporary or Christian romance. Although I think this book will be great for a lot of people it’s just not meant for me.

Thanks NetGalley for the ARC audiobook in exchange for my honest review!

Darcy lost her fiancé in a car accident. She feels guilty because he was on his way to pick up her medicines and the grief is a constant struggle. She's basically given up on love and then a chance encounter leads her to Carter. This book was good; however, Carter and Darcy are too positive and super upbeat about everything. Not realistic and it got annoying but overall, the story was good. Predictable, but good. The narration was good and did add a lot to the story.
