As someone newer to the platform and submitting reviews, I found this toolkit very helpful. It had great tips for keeping feedback ratios up, and it's written in a very approachable, down-to-earth voice and tone. I also liked that it provided insights into how publishers select reviewers and tips for improving my profile to increase my chances of getting selected by publishers.

Overall, this was a really helpful and quick read that I'm sure I'll reference again. Thanks to NetGalley for making this concise and helpful resource available to the community.

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit by We Are Bookish. WOW this was so helpful. It’s a terrific guide to navigating the NetGalley platform but also provides helpful tips for creating and maintaining your profile, as well as guidance in writing reviews. I really liked the extra links to more in depth articles on writing reviews and how to handle criticism. This is a must read for new reviewers.

As an avid reader and reviewer, I believe it is always helpful to continue one's education and learn new things constantly. It not only helps me stay on top of trends, but it keeps my mind strong. NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit did exactly that for me: continue to learn and grow. I often write reviews, and I'm on a few author's ARC lists. I always strive to write a thoughtful, engaging review that pulls others into it. I can see where my errors and strengths are now that I've read NetGalley's Advocate Toolkit.
