This is such a concise and informative book! If you are just starting as a NetGalley member, this is the best book for you to understand how NetGalley works. What I really like about this are the tips on how to make a good book review. I like how easy it is to follow. I also like the topic about requesting books. I always have a question as to why some of the books I request are denied and I finally have the answer. Overall, I highly recommend this to all members of NetGalley! Thanks to NetGalley for the reading copy.

This was such a helpful guide! Other than the fact that this guide covered helpful tips navigating and starting a NetGalley account, this guide took it to the next level by adding tips and tricks that NetGalley provides. I didn't know about the weekly checklist email that I didn't know about before. The book review tips organized in do and don't format provided a quick overview on everything one might need to get started. I never thought about naming a book's audience before so I will be doing that going forward! Big kudos to We Are Bookish for compiling this guide to NetGalley!

NetGalley's Book Advocate Toolkit is a concise and colorful guide to all users of NetGalley; new or old. It includes everything you need to know on using NetGalley, from the site's interface to tips on writing better reviews and getting more approvals. The colorful toolkit with cute doodles and pastel colors made the reading experience so much more fun; rather than having to scroll down pages of boring text with a white background. I thought I was just going to skim through this but I actually read through and learned new things! Highly recommend to NetGalley users.

This guide really helped me because I had no clue what I was doing. I still don’t know but that’s ok because I can always go back and look in the guide book.

It was a pretty simple explanation of the system. Hopefully after I complete a few books, I will be able to get approved for something g. Looking forward to the social account how to. I’d like to see what they feel will work well for reviews.

NetGalley’s Book Advocate Toolkit is a guide for the website regarding setting up your profile, review writing, how to use the site, and other tips and tricks. It is set up in a very accessible and easy-to-understand way which makes it great for beginners. As someone new to the site who had no idea about these unspoken “rules”, this was a huge help. I will certainly be using these tips, some of which I didn’t know existed, like publisher approval preferences being available.

There are also interacting links within the toolkit to provide more information, which is great because it’s available to you, but doesn’t overwhelm you by being in the actual ebook. I would recommend this toolkit to every person getting started with NetGalley.

Thank you to NetGalley for providing me with this ebook.

Super helpful guide. This helped me to understand how to write a good review. I had been wondering how I can write a review where I didn't like the book. This helped to give guidance there on those "did not finish" books.
