Great resource to help get you started. I found it helpful to set up my profile and since implementing some of their suggestions I have found more success with getting accepted for books.
Thank you for this resource! Reading has always been my passion but this year I decided to take it to the next level and this resource was so helpful!
Very helpful toolkit for every NetGalley user. I would recommend reading it before writing a review. It has helped me with updating my profile and improving my reviews.
Super quick and easy read to help NetGallery readers on their reading journey!
I found this guide was well put together and easy to follow. I liked the tips and tricks section and found some of the information super helpful despite being on NetGallery for almost a year. I would totally recommend giving this a read!
Very helpful! Thanks for having this resource NetGalley! I really appreciate having some guidance as I begin this new aspect of my book lover journey. I would recommend it to anyone interested!
This is wonderfully detailed and thorough. I found a lot of value in the examples (the bio blurb and book review samples) and really loved how everything was broken down. I also didn't realize that our featured reviews have the little orange pencil beside the cover, so that was neat.
Very helpful advice on requesting ARCs, writing reviews, and improving ones’ Profile. I already have rewritten my Profile and added valuable information that was missing. Such excellent suggestions for users of NetGalley!

This guide is well organized and immediately anwered my questions about feedback ratio. The links to We Are Bookish blog posts are helpful. It's clearly written and includes key topics for interacting with NetGalley, selecting books, and star ratings.
It's a fast read, yet provides a comprehensive introduction to NetGalley and book reviewing with lots of tips.
I recommend it to newcomers as well as more experienced NetGalley reviewers. The charts and graphics make the material easy to understand. The DNF chart, sample review, and details about profiles are concise and useful.
Thank you, NetGalley.
This is a book about how to use NetGalley. While it would be extremely useful for someone new to the site, it was quite informative, even for an experienced reviewer like me. It reminded me of the basics, which can sometimes get lost in the noise and bustle. It was well laid out and easy to read, with lots of links to We Are Bookish posts. The only thing is the Social Media chapter is 'still to come' and that's the part I'm weakest at. Thanks to NetGalley for taking the time to help us bloggers and reviewers do our best.
This was very clear and it assuaged some of the fears I had on how to "keep up" a review routine. The graphic design was neat but also fun, it's clear that it was made specifically for book lovers. I especially liked the links to additional reading on the We Are Bookish blog. I'll most likely read more from that as well.
A great set of examples and tips to be able to review books at our best. I really enjoyed reading this booklet.
This was well laid out and easy to read and understand. It easily explains a lot about Netgalley and how it works, giving helpful tips along the way. I love how colorful and somewhat playful it feels.
An incredibly insightful and resourceful guide for both beginners and NetGalley aficionados, I cannot not recommend it to everyone! I really appreciated the tools NetGalley offered to their members to improve their reviewing skills and the handy hyperlinks to all the We Are Bookish blog posts.
This is exactly what I needed! I’m hoping to step up my Bookstagram come Fall/2025 and the tips and tricks in this toolkit gave me plenty of thoughts and advice.
I’ve been using NetGalley for 10 years but am looking to get in with new publishers and hopefully this kit allows me to revamp my account and make improvements and new progress.
This is a really helpful and concise guide to using netgalley. I highly recommend this resource to anyone new to using netgalley.
Honestly, this is such a wonderful tool! I am so glad that it is accessible to all of us members. I plan to utilize the toolkit as much as possible. I have been trying to get more organized and have already adapted it into my new Reading Tracker’s sub workspace for tracking my ARCs on Notion!
I really enjoyed this little guide and even though I have been user here for a while this helped me see why some things in NetGalley might be important to focus on. Definitely it will help me build up my profile here better and craft more well-rounded reviews.
This is a fantastic kit for helping to get started on NetGalley. If you are looking to set up an account or start a blog the NetGalley's Book Advocate Tool Kit is a perfect place to start. I thoroughly recommend it. Love the suggestions on how to download Audible books. This is something I did not know how to do.
A very continent pocket guide if you don’t feel like scouring NetGalley’s Help pages for the same details.
A great guide to getting started with NetGalley. I learned a lot about review ratios and also that publishers have preferences as to who they grant books to. Helpful resource!
