I got lots of helpful tips to make my NetGalley bio even better and how to improve my reviews in general. The toolkit also offers tons of useful tips to enhance your general experience reviewing books on NetGalley and on the platform in general.

Very helpful toolkit for getting started with NetGalley. Includes tips on creating your profile, site navigation, writing reviews, blogging, social media do's and don'ts, and promoting yourself on social media.

This is the PERFECT toolkit on how to get started when wanting to become an ARC reviewer. As well as needing a refresher when forgetting certain rules or guidelines or just in general tips. The format is very easy to follow and read and is only 31 pages long. It’s also nice for those struggling to write meaningful reviews by showing you an example. I strongly recommend reading even if you aren’t new to leaving reviews.

The new Book Advocate Toolkit is a handy resource for new and experienced NetGalley users alike. It provides answers to all the most common questions a user might have in a single convenient place. The information is spread across 31 pages, broken down logically without crowding too much information in front of the reader at once. The style is light and a little quirky with a pastel palate and a scrapbooking aesthetic. Many topics provide links to more detailed blog posts or knowledgebase articles for those who wish to dig deeper.

The new edition really doesn't address any of my gripes with the earlier edition. It relies heavily on providing links to websites instead of simply including the information directly in the book. If I wanted to read a website or watch a video, I would have done that. It's a nicely designed book, and it does provide some better clarifications about certain aspects of NetGalley, although most of it is shunted into links

This guide is perfect for those who are new to NetGalley. It is really helpful in getting approved, writing a bio, and writing reviews. It explained that there is a difference between ARCs, ALCs, and DRCs, which helps write reviews. I would recommend anyone new to NetGalley to read this guide before they start requesting books.

This is a clear and well laid out guide for people using NetGalley. It has very useful instructions on how to make the most of using NetGalley while also providing excellent tips & tricks to help you enhance your experience. From reading this guide I have learned the basics on how to go about using this platform to the best of my ability in a clear and concise way.

An essential read for anyone who is new to the platform.

I've been using Netgalley for a while now and I found some neat little tidbits in here that I found worthwhile (the orange pencil was new to me!). Great review writing tips and bio creation format as well!

This is the perfect kit to help you succeed with getting arcs on NetGalley. It gives you all the tools on how to request, how to review and more. Hopefully this helps me have a better chance at getting the arcs I want.

This toolkit was well laid out and gave clear examples of how to succeed on NetGalley. As someone new to NetGalley, it's nice to have a resource like this to set me up well on the site. Many of the recommendations I was able to implement immediately, and it was a nice introduction to how the site works as well. The embedded links throughout were also helpful to jump to other relevant content that would be helpful specifically to me. I'll definitely keep an eye out for future toolkits, because this one made getting started feel easy and manageable.
