This is a nice toolkit for anyone who interacts with NetGalley and/or the NetGalley bookshelf app to request, read, and review books. It offers plenty of tips on how to use the tools, how to write reviews that will be noticed, how to write critical reviews or handle the dreaded DNF (Did Not Finish) situation.

Thanks for putting this together! This updated version is not available on Goodreads so I cannot review it there. Since this is a user toolkit specific to NetGalley, that makes sense.

This was a helpful and concise guide to help me start my journey of reviewing and recommending books. I was unaware of this toolkit when I was first introduced to the NetGalley system via an author I supported in an advance book release campaign. I made a lot of rookie mistakes that could have been avoided. Therefore, I recommend that this be provided to all new users of NetGalley upon their first login. There seem to be a few links that are no longer working right now, but it looks like there may be some subsequent releases with additional content specific to social media. Overall, this is a must-read for anyone on the NetGalley platform. The less-than-perfect rating is due to not being targeted to platform users as effectively as iI think it could have been.

Great resource offered through Net Galley to help navigate through Net Galley. Giving pointers and examples of the best way to review in order to utilize the features on Net Galley.

I found this book advocate toolkit so much more helpful than the last The previous edition was a bit clinical, while this one is put together like a scrap book and actually pretty fun to look at and read through, which I think will make new NetGalley members even more excited to get started. I especially appreciated the tips on how to keep your profile simple while still including all the important information publishers look for, what to do when you have reviewer’s block, and the features available in the NetGalley Shelf App. I’m looking forward to applying the things I’ve learned to my reviews and NetGalley experience.

Incredibly informative and helpful, especially for those who are new to book writing book reviews. The tips for writing audiobook reviews was particularly appreciated as that is primarily how I enjoy books.

As someone who is just starting out on NetGalley, this guide gave me a lot of useful information to help me succeed on this platform. This guide is aesthetically pleasing which held my attention, and the information was presented in an accessible way, for someone who is unfamiliar with the website's layout.

This advocate toolkit is helpful. I wish I would have known about all this sooner. Definetly my fault for not reading this. I wish I would have started with this before clicking on a bunch of titles, because now my percentage score is all messed up! There needs to be a warning for new sign ups about this nugget of information!

This latest edition of Netgalley's Book Advocate Toolkit it is packed full of needed information in clear concise instructions. The composition of the content is pleasing to look at and very relevant for reviewers.

The part regarding Book Reviews is extremely helpful for new and veteran reviewers. Some of information in this area helped me write some current book reviews with more finesse.
