Gorgeously illustrated, Otto The Top Dog is a sweet little book that is sure to please pup-loving little ones. Where this title shines is truly in its playful illustrations and exploration of the importance and value of sharing in friendship. This title just fell a little bit flat for me in terms of pacing, and does not feel overly memorable, but a great title nonetheless.

Oh, what a wonderful tale! Otto The Top Dog by Catherine Rayner is absolutely delightful.
Otto is a cute little dachshund who really love his comfy basket. As his friends hear about it, they ask to see it and as time goes by they there’s always more dogs sleeping in his basket and poor Otto can’t sleep anymore…
This is a very cute story about friendship and sharing. Kids will love it and so did I!
Thank you. NetGalley and the publishers for this ARC.

I am a massive Catherine Rayner fan. She is the master of texture art and, of course, animal illustration. This story, like all of her others, is relateable, well paced and the characters are all loveable - especially our main star.
