Jennifer Carr’s latest release Wrapped Up in You is the second installment in Ms. Carr’s Real American Country Series. Wrapped Up in You tells the story of Nash and Cassidy, a boy and girl who met on the social media platform OurSpace as teens and strike up a years long friendship based on their love of music and admiration for one another’s musical talents. One day, OurSpace is no longer up and running making Nash and Cassidy lose contact with each other. Years pass by and both Nash and Cassidy having both experienced life’s ups and downs and personal growth that eventually lead to both landing a spot on the music competition show, Real American Country. Nash and Cassidy put the pieces together, realizing they have been reunited with their OurSpace friend. Nash and Cassidy quickly pickup where they left off as teens, but their friendship quickly turns into something more, earning them the moniker Cashidy from fans. Cashidy goes on a journey of learning that Happily Ever After is not a one time decision, but a decision you make everyday.

Jennifer Carr has a hit on her hands with Wrapped Up in You! I love Ms. Carr’s writing style and how she sweeps you into a story, giving the two main characters equal space to share their points of view in the story, with vivid descriptions of what each character was thinking and feeling. I love the plot of how Nash and Cassidy’s friendship began in the world of now defunct OurSpace. As a reader I was groaning at the cease of OurSpace and I’m thankful that it didn’t take long for Nash and Cassidy to realize who each other was at Real American Country. To drag it out would have just been painful for the reader! (Thanks for not doing that to us, Ms. Carr!) I also love how society dubs Nash and Cassidy “Cashidy”. Nash and Cassidy felt like really down to earth people regardless of fame. I like how Nash and Cassidy were able to go their own paths and learn that it’s ok for a person’s dreams and goals to change and evolve as life goes on. I also love how the theme of choosing to love and a honor a commitment is a every day choice, not a one time thing. I thought that Nash and Cassidy were a sweet couple and enjoyed the story from beginning to end. (I just wished they weren’t living together before marriage, but that is a personal preference and doesn’t take away from the story itself. I still believe Wrapped Up in You is a good, clean novel empty of foul language and explicit scenes.) I also love the minor-important characters of Jet and Cody and would love for them to have their own story at some point! If you are looking for a sweet story. with real people going through the realness of life, with a wee bit of Nashville flair, then I highly recommend Wrapped Up in You by Jennifer Carr! I cannot wait to see what Ms. Carr does next with the Real American Country Series!

Thanks to NetGalley and Jennifer Carr for letting me read and review this books as a honest review.
I read this is as Standalone but I believe it is the second book to series. I also believe it could read as Standalone romance novel. Nash and Cassidy are opposites but the love for music brings them together. First they meet in chatroom online. Then later out of the blue the chatroom shutdown. They loose contact with with each other completely. Then, Cassidy enters into a singing competition where she runs into Nash on it. That's where they reconnect with each other and be together. Cassidy then gets a job at record studios in LA. While they have balance a relationship while being long distance. Nash finally catches a break they are finally come back together in LA. While in LA she gained a new job. While being together was great but it overall it was overwhelming for Nash. He ended up leaving LA . In the end they finding there way back to each other. He asked her to marry him.

Nash finds himself having to teach music in summer school having been caught playing a prank in high school. A baseball player he soon realizes his passion is his guitar and music.
Cassidy is done with doing show after show to keep her mother happy and wants to find her own dream.
When these two meet online a friendship develops based on raw honesty about their lives and others expectations of them.
This is a heartwarming and tender story spanning three or four years of a friendship until the site closes down and they loose all contact, only knowing the nickname they gave each other.
A refreshing sweet, closed door romance, extremely well written with beautiful characters that make your heart swell and the ending was everything you'd want it to be.
I'll definitely read the other book in this series

Thanks @netgalley for the ARC of this book. It was such a cute novel that spans time. It's dual POV from Nash and Cassidy who share a love of music. Initially, they meet online through a website just sharing music and dreams but no names. Finally, they meet in person years later on a reality music TV competition show. Do their feelings still grow?

Why did I have tears? It's not a sad book. It's just that good. Cassidy and Nash have a love story for the ages. I mean...they just do. They grow together and realize that what they have is real.

I loved this story and the meaning. That true love can span distance and time.

I love how the writing is lush and immersive, capturing the bittersweet tension of long-distance love and the pull of unresolved feelings. The romance is both heartfelt and intense, with a narrative that explores the sacrifices we make for love and the journey to finding where we truly belong. It’s a compelling read for anyone who appreciates emotional depth and a soulful connection.

I did not read Book 1, but I still liked this story. It was emotional but also a feel-good tale. I think Carr did a great job crafting the characters. The music theme was spot on. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
