Mistletoe Season was a sweet collection of Christmas tales. I enjoyed the audio narration for each of the stories, too. These novellas are a good way to enjoy shorter festive tales as the Christmas season approaches. I enjoyed all three novellas.

In Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller, I loved that it was a best friend’s brother, unrequited crush story from twenty years earlier that finally resulted in the female main character ending up with the man she adored as a teen. This story was so good and I really actually wished there was an epilogue showing the two main characters a year or so in the future.

I’ve been looking forward to reading The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham and returning to some of the characters from her Skymar series. What a fun fairy tale romance this was, with Charlie finding her happily ever after with a prince! I loved that Arran had overcome so much and that his true nature was kind and genuine and that he was immediately drawn to the unique woman that Charlie was.

I hadn’t read anything by Sheila Roberts before, but I enjoyed listening to Say No to Mistletoe. I do have to admit that I was very anxious at the beginning of this story. The fact that Hailey had to deal with a woman who bullied her in high school was tense for me. However, I ended up loving the way the author handled that situation. This was another tale of a high school crush and unrequited love, with the brother’s best friend this time, and it was fun to see Hailey capture the attention of the handsome Carwyn and grow more confident in herself along the way.

This fun collection was enjoyable to listen to and a nice way to enjoy seasonal Christmas stories.

I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I thought this was a delightful Christmas novel that was like being wrapped up in a warm blanket and watching the Hallmark Channel. I enjoyed the three different stories and I thought all of them were wonderful reads,

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for providing me with this book in exchange for my honest review!

Three Christmas storys with romance and Holiday feeling.
Like Hallmark movies, cute, heartwarming and all the Christmas setting.
Return to Misteltoe: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Friends to lovers/ bestfrinds brother/ second change romance.
The Misteltoe Prince: ⭐️⭐️

A Rebel-Prince, a hard working FMC and lot's of the beautiful Christmas sparkles. I bit too many dialects for my taste (even if it was nicely done).
Say No to Misteltoe: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
A romance author and the High Schoole crush. Misteltoe as krytonite and old sparkles coming to life. An almost second change troupe in yet another cozy christmas holiday story.

No spice - but lot's of Christmas lights.

All three of these novellas held humor and a Christmas story you won't want to miss. All three held a strong message that made this collection one of the most meaningful ones I've read.

Thank you for the audiobook.

These 3 stories were sweet. They were each very easy and quick listens. Due to the stories being so short, there didn't seem to be much character development. However, I did enjoy each story and the narrator did a great job.

I thought each of these stories were so unique and stayed with me! I really enjoyed the narrator for each story! The characters of each story were so well fleshed out and it was fun to dive into their journeys to find love at Christmastime! Truly enjoyable listen!

Thanks to NetGalley and the authors for letting me enjoy their work! All thoughts and opinions are my own.

If you are in the mood for a few short, sweet, and yes, predictable, clean Christmas romance stories, Mistletoe Season is the perfect escape from reality with its trio of novellas. My absolute favorite was Pepper Basham’s A Mistletoe Prince and getting this book is worth it for that story alone! (Especially if you’re read the Skymar series she has written, as this is a fun dive back into that world.)

Thanks NetGalley and HarperCollins Christian Publishing for the ARC ebook. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Mistletoe Season by Sheila Roberts, Kathleen Fuller & Pepper Basham 📚🌲

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

This was a sweet little collection of three novellas, all of which were holiday romances.

Each author used a mistletoe theme, but the stories were not repetitive and were all unique in their own way!

These were all the quick, feel-good stories.

I listed to the audio version and really enjoyed the narrator, which can certainly make all of the difference in an audiobook.

This is the perfect collection to curl up and listen to or read when you’re in the mood for a cozy day ❄️

Thank you to Harper Collins Publishing, Thomas Nelson Fiction & NetGalley for this ARC! 🫶🏻

Thank you so much to NetGalley and Harper Collins Christian Publishing for my copy of Mistletoe Season by Sheila Roberts, Kathleen Fuller, Pepper Basham
Narrated by Tanya Eby in exchange for an honest review. It published October 8, 2024.
First off, the narration was really well-done!
This was a fun, light-hearted complication of Christmas stories. My favorite was be Shelia Roberts. I really enjoy her writing style, and I found her story to be sweet and relatable.
I enjoyed the other two stories, however, I felt like the second was a little longer than I would’ve liked for a short story.
Overall, this is a great compilation to add to your holiday reading schedule!

The narrator was terrible, so I could not get in to the story at all. If I try again it would be with the digital copy.

ALC Review
This was 3 Christmas short stories in one.

Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller
This book was fun and it was cool that it was set in Mistletoe, Missouri. Being from Missouri, it made me like it just a tad more. This was a little sisters best friend/second chance. It was such a cute and sweet read.
4⭐️

A Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham
Prince Arran goes to Ransom, North Carolina so he can learn a lesson in life. Here he works for Luke, his sister Princess Ellie’s husband. But he gets more than a life do-over when he meets Charlie’s this one wasn’t as Christmasy until the end.
3.75⭐️

Say No to Mistletoe by Sheila Roberts
Hailey, a successful author, goes back home for the holidays. She doesn’t have the best memories there being teased for being nerdy and chunky. Her mother has several appearances planned for her. And Hailey does not like mistletoe, she feels it has done her wrong many times over the years.

Say No to Mistletoe by Sheila Roberts
This story had second chance romance vibes. Hailey has had bad luck with kissing under the mistletoe, and is determined not to make the same mistake again. There were some funny moments in this story, but the romance was a little lackluster for me personally.

The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham
This story was the most enjoyable for me out of the three. I adored the royalty and thought it was a really sweet story overall. I was rooting for Arran and Charlie the whole time and loved that it included giving back to the community.

Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller
This story was cute, but I wasn’t really invested in the romance. I did enjoy that the characters were a little bit older than I typically see in romance books. The story overall was cozy and a decent holiday read.

Overall, I thought the narrator for this collection of stories was okay. They spoke clearly, but the voice for some of the characters (specifically characters who had accents) didn’t quite work for me.

I love Christmas anthologies! You can read (or listen) to a story in a few hours and get all the feel-good warm fuzzies that a longer book can give. I was also excited to see that Tanya Eby narrates the three stories in Mistletoe Season. I've heard her before, most notably in Robyn Carr's books, so I knew I would enjoy listening. Throw in three can't miss authors, and this book wins all around.

Kathleen Fuller kicks things off with Return to Mistletoe. Emmy Banks has a pretty good life in Mistletoe, Missouri. It's fortunate she lives in a town where Christmas is HUGE because it's her favorite of all the holidays. She runs the local antique shop and is raising her daughter alone. Kieran O'Neill has spent so many years living abroad that he's gained an Irish lilt to his voice, so when he first walks into Emmy's shop, she doesn't recognize her first crush. Kieran is home to celebrate his mother's 70th birthday and he expects it to be a short stay. Spending time with Emmy, Kieran starts to see a future with her by his side, but can he really live in the town where grief for the loss of his father hits him at every turn?

Pepper Basham is up next with The Mistletoe Prince. This story ties into her Skymar series, with Luke Edgewood of Loyally, Luke making frequent appearances. Prince Arran St. Clare went "off the rails" when the woman he loved chose someone else. As "punishment" he is sent to live three months in Ransom, North Carolina, where no one cares about his royal status. To prove he's ready for royal reinstatement, he must participate in planning the Mistletoe Wish charity fundraiser. Add in a beautiful, intelligent, adventurous woman who doesn't see her own worth, and sprinkle everything with Christmas magic, and both Arran and Charlie (Charlotte) come away changed.

Sheila Roberts winds things up with Say No to Mistletoe. Mistletoe has been Hailey Fairchild's downfall ever since Carwyn Davies kissed her on a dare. She was a gawky, awe-struck freshman to his "too cool for school" senior athlete status so learning he'd done it because someone dared him to humiliated her. Ever since, kisses under the mistletoe have led to her romances imploding. She left town for college and never went back, except for short visits. Now that mistletoe has once again struck her love life resulting in a broken engagement, she's going home for the holidays. She's determined to avoid the ever present mistletoe - especially since Carwyn also seems to be ever present. Can Carwyn help her see that their long-ago mistletoe kiss wasn't the colossal mistake she always thought it was?

Each of these authors knows how to tug the heart strings and sprinkle in enough giggles to keep things light. I loved this whole book, and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to get into the Christmas spirit.

I liked that there were three separate Christmas stories. None of them kept my interest so the fact that they were short was beneficial. I would’ve like a little more character development and it might have been fun if the characters from each book were woven into each other’s stories. The book was just a little vanilla and just when I thought it was going to get a little steamy, I was let down.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC. Is the novel is comprised of 3 lovely holidays stories. Pepper's was my favorite and could have read a whole book about that story.

Mistletoe Season was not really my cup of tea. I listened to the full book but was never really hooked.

Thank you NetGalley for the ARC!

It was 3 short stories in 1 audiobook! I liked the Pepper Basham one the most out of the 3. I really enjoy some novellas because they are quick and cute but still hit key components of a romance.

These just were not a hit for me. I felt bored and couldn't fully get into them. It was having the messages regarding the characters learning to love themselves and maturing but overall I couldn't vibe with the stories or characters.

Mistletoe season is three festive novels in one. Return to mistletoe was a cute story about second chances. My favorite was A Mistletoe Prince, it was funny and a little spicy. Say No To mistletoe was a funny romcom. The first two novellas were a little slow for me but overall they were pretty cute.
Thank you for this copy

I adored Pepper Basham's royal novella. Hit every right
note and had me highlighting each witty, wise saying.
will definitely read that novella again. The other two
were sweet, but Charlie and Arren's story reached into
my heart and had me rooting for them against the
odds.
