A couple of heartwarming short stories which will sweeten your wintery days and, again least for me it did, enhance the excitement for the festive season. You get through the stories rather quickly and everyone has its own little twist to the tale. They are all beautiful.

A big thank you to Sheila Roberts, Kathleen Fuller, Pepper Basham, HarperCollins Christian Publishing and Netgalley for the ARC of Mistletoe Season in exchange for an honest review. This book has three pretty good Christmas stories, The last story, The Mistletoe Prince is my favorite of the three! I requested the ARC for a couple reasons -- 1. I love a good cartoon cover and 2. I love a good christmas romance. What I didn't realize when I first requested it was that it is in fact a collection of Christmas Novellas, so I got 3 for 1. 3 stars because they were pretty decent, nothing spectacular. The first two had some pacing issues, despite their short story nature. I don't feel like slowburn works very well during short stories tbh.

Full disclosure, I requested this book on NetGalley for precisely two reasons: 1) the ever-blithesome Pepper Basham and 2) the ever-delightful Edgewoods from her Skymar series.
Therefore, it's no surprise that of the three holiday novellas Basham's was far and away my favorite. In fact, I'd go so far as to say that "The Mistletoe Prince" is the gleaming jewel in this collection's crown! A sweet royal romance with southern charm, wit, and heart.
If you like twinkle lights, small town vibes, and Hallmark Christmas movies, "Mistletoe Season" might just be your cup of Pepper-mint tea! (Pun wholeheartedly intended! 😉)
I received a complimentary copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. A favorable review was not required. All views expressed are my own honest opinion.

Mistletoe Season is a book of three cute, clean Christmas novellas from three best-selling authors. All three were light-hearted, Hallmark-ish, wholesome and sweet romances.
Pepper Basham’s, The Mistletoe Prince, was especially charming as it is a continuation of her Skymar series (Authentically Izzy, Positively Penelope, & Loyally Luke). For those who are familiar, this Christmas plot is about Princess Ellie’s brother from Skymar. He’s been a bad boy prince and is sent to North Carolina with Luke and Ellie to get his act together. REALLY enjoyed it - especially the faith content.
4 stars
The other two stories, “Return to Mistletoe” and “Say No to Mistletoe” were both cute as well - clean contemporary fiction. Both have a second chance romance trope. Both were quick, carefree reads.
3 stars for these two.

I was blessed to have received an early complimentary ebook AND audiobook and opinions are my own!

For me, this was a great chance to try three new authors in one of my favourite genres - Christmas themed romance! Although the novellas are all quite different, there is a common thread of mistletoe running through all three. The stories are fun, sweet romances full of Christmas spirit and no angst. I thoroughly enjoyed all the novellas and look forward to reading more from these authors.

When it comes to Christmas books, I love a good anthology as it gives the perfect bite size reads to check the boxes, but not take too much time to read during a very busy season. I was really excited for the opportunity to listen to the audiobook version of this anthology and I found it was a fun way to dip my feet into the holiday reading season.
I have read two of the three authors before and looked forward to reading more of the works while also being introduced to a new author. Initially, I was really excited to listen to this because it has a Pepper Basham book and the story is connected to her delightful Skymar series. Her novella did not disappoint. I thought all three novellas had fun ways of incorporating mistletoe in them and sweet romances that gave of Hallmark vibes.
Return to Mistletoe was a sweet small-town romance and I loved the hero Kieran and the way the narrator did his Irish accent. He and Emmy, with their best friend's brother vibes, were really cute together.
The Mistletoe Prince had all the charms I have enjoyed in Basham's Skymar series and I loved seeing those Edgewoods cameo in this novella. It was a cute story and made me smile.
Say No to Mistletoe had a little different vibe then the other two, but I liked how it was sort of a second chance romance without being a second chance romance and it had a good ending.
I think the narrator did well with all the characters, especially Kieran and Arran, though I didn't like Carwyn's "voice" quite as much because it was hard to peg if he was supposed to have an accent or not after listening to the other two stories. Overall, it was easy to listen to and a cute collection of holiday romances.
All three romances are clean, some have light Christian vibes. I received an advance listening copy of this book from Thomas Nelson, Zondervan Fiction Auddio, and Netgalley. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I recommend this book and the audiobook version.

If you’re looking for some sweet Christmas romance, this book absolutely fit the bill. You get so
much of that Christmas cheer without committing to three full length novels. I love compilations like this to try new authors. While I’ve already read much of Pepper Basham’s backlist, I am so glad to have found two new-to-me authors to add to my list. I highly recommend adding it to your Christmas TBR.

I received an audiobook arc of this through NetGalley, Thomas Nelson and Zondervan Fiction Audio.
I gave this book 3 1/2 stars, rounded up to 4.
This is a book consists of 3 different stories by 3 different authors that all take place in the town of Mistletoe, Missouri during Christmastime.
1) Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller
Kieran returns to Mistletoe for the holidays after living abroad for years. He reconnects with Emmy who owns an antique shop, and is also sisters close friend. They begin to form a bond but soon realize there are big issues that will get in the way of their budding romance.
2) The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham
Prince Arran is sent to the small town as a form of punishment. He must engage in The Mistletoe Wish, a Christmas charity fundraiser to prove he is ready for the Royal life. He meets Charlie, a small town humble girl. Her soon starts to understand the person behind the crown as he gains feelings for Charlie.
3) Say No to Mistletoe by Sheila Roberts
Mistletoe is Hailey’s kryptonite. She has had disasters and embarrassing experiences whenever she’s kissed someone under mistletoe, especially with Carwyn in high school. She is now a romance writer who has come home for the holidays determined to say to no mistletoe, especially if Carwyn is anywhere near!
Overall these were sweet, feel-good holiday stories. Fun for Christmas.

Why just have one cozy Christmas romance when you can have three?! In Mistletoe Season you get three unique stories that take place under the mistletoe. Three different romances, but the same warm fuzzies in each.
In "Say No to Mistletoe" all of Hailey's mistletoe woes come back to haunt her where it all began, with her high school crush Carwyn. But what if it was all a misunderstanding and this time the mistletoe woe turns into mistletoe ooh? I loved this short story. The female MC is such a great and hilarious person that you just want a win for her.
In "Return to Mistletoe" you get the best of the "my best friend's brother" trope, covered in a candy cane coating. Can the magic of Emmy's favorite season work its way into her love life? I loved that Emmy had continued on with her life independently and lived to the fullest. She didn't need anyone to complete her, just to spice it up a bit.
In "The Mistletoe Prince" can the local self-proclaimed "tom boy" snag a disgraced Prince? Who doesn't love a fall for the prince story? Can the two of them overcome their pasts and differences to come together under the mistletoe?
I really enjoyed how diverse these three stories were but that they all had the mistletoe tie together. It is the perfect short read for all of our Christmas Hallmark romance lovers. Short, sweet and rather innocent this is not a book for those that want copious amounts of character development or all the spice, but if you want a good holiday warm hug you should check this one out!

Three magical love stories full of mistletoe, Christmas spirit, family, friendship, past crushes, royal families, romance authors and so much more. And Tanya Eby makes an excellent job with the audiobook.

Thank you to NetGalley for my copy. My review is my own.
This book is fun read with three great holiday storytellers. I requested the copy as I love Sheila Roberts, but now will be looking up the other authors as well. It has three short Christmas stories so there is not a lot of depth or background to any of the stories, but they are nice quick and complete story arcs. All three are clean romance stories that give major Hallmark vibes with the snow, carriage rides, and awaited kisses. I'll be honest Basham and Fullers stories may have edged out Roberts, but only because it was audiobook and their stories had accents for the guys. Plus Basham has the trope of small town girl falling for royalty. Lots of wonderful cheesy swoon moments to get you ready for Hallmark, I mean Holiday season!

This collection of short stories was a fun way to start getting into the spirit of the season. It's never too early for me! Like many readers, Pepper Basham is a favorite and her story of Prince Arran and Charlie was very heartwarming and truly a tale of second chances. Roberts' story of Hailey getting another try under the mistletoe also had all the feels. I really enjoyed Fuller's offering of a chance opportunity for Emmy and an old friend to reacquaint under better circumstances. It was engaging and endearing. I often feel that short stories seem rushed and you're hardly introduced to the characters before it's over. These would all be perfect Hallmark Christmas movies that are clean and uplifting. I thoroughly enjoyed them!
The narrator was good for all the short stories even though the accents were a little difficult to transition back and forth in two of the novellas.
Thanks to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson for this ARL. All opinions are mine.

Each one of these novellas is a good Christmas book and the fact that they're combined makes them even better. If you are looking for short, sweet, and funny Christmas romances, I recommend you read this book!
*Return to Mistletoe is a cute story about falling in love with a friend's brother who just so happens to live on a different continent.
*The Mistletoe Prince is a story about heartbreak and redemption. It is full of funny banter, and even funnier nicknames, and had me chuckling throughout.
*Say No To Mistletoe is a sweet romance that centers around the heroine's aversion to Mistletoe and all of its wrongs.
Thanks to the author, publisher, and NetGalley for an ARC of this book.

Three cute stories about Christmas and Mistletoe, whimsical and entertaining. Perfect to get into the Holiday spirit.
I enjoyed the accents the narrator did. She was really good.
Thanks for this ARC!

These stories were super cute and definitely got me excited for the Christmas season. Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller was definitely my favorite but I loved listening to the others as well. lol clean, heartwarming romances. I love when Tanya Eby narrates. She does an amazing job with female and male voices. Huge thanks to Harpercollins and Netgalley for allowing me to listen and review these wonderful stories.

A collection of three brand new holiday kissing only romance novellas set in small towns. My favorite by far was the second story by Pepper Basham that's set in the Skymar universe and sees a tomboy carpenter falling for a royal prince. Lots of content about learning to love oneself and being worthy of love just as you are. The final story also follows those themes as an introverted NYC romance writer returns home for Christmas and falls for her high school crush.

3.75 stars. This was hard to rate because some stories ranked higher than other. Thanks to NetGalley and Thomas Nelson Publishing for this ARC. I was initially interested in this because I love Pepper Basham, but I actually really enjoyed the story by Sheila Roberts too! The first story, Return to Mistletoe, by Kathleen Fuller, was my least favorite. I haven't read anything by her before (and sadly, I doubt I will), but I've added a few things to my TBR by Shelia Roberts because I really liked her novella. These were super sweet quick stories about Christmas (talk about getting me in the holiday spirit when it's still 90 degrees outside!). I loved that Pepper Basham's royal novella continued on with the Edgewood family! So fun!

The only problem with a novella collection is that each book ends too soon! I was loving these characters and their love stories, which made me ready for Christmas - in September ha!
I know some of the characters in Pepper Basham's "A Mistletoe Prince" are mentioned in her Edgewood family trilogy. Now I am curious if we learn more about any characters in "Return to Mistletoe" by Kathleen Fuller or "Say No to Mistletoe" by Sheila Roberts in their other novels?!
The audiobook is amazing due to some characters having accents!
I received an advanced copy from NetGalley. Opinions are my own.

Return to Mistletoe by Kathleen Fuller ~ 🌟🌟🌟🌟
Set in Mistletoe, Missouri -- how could I resist? The story was sweet and the big gesture moment was touching. Just not my favorite.
The Mistletoe Prince by Pepper Basham ~ 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
All the stars for this story with crossover characters from the latest contemporary title by Basham: Loyally, Luke. Can a rogue prince find his way by helping Luke's cousin Charity with her Mistletoe Wish Fundraiser. There is a moment when Prince Arran of Skymar grants a wish for two little North Carolina girls. So sweet!
Say No To Mistletoe by Sheila Roberts ~🌟🌟🌟🌟
Romance author Hailey Fairchild has a long and complicated history with mistletoe. Her first mistletoe fail was with the unattainable Carwyn. Many years and several mistletoe disasters later, Hailey is back home in Cascade for the holidays. Can she find the happy ever after from her books at last? Really love Sheila Roberts' sense of humor. Just read her holiday titles The Merry Matchmaker and really liked it.
Thank you to Harper Collins Christian Publishing and NetGalley for a DRC in exchange for an honest review.

It's best to start with what this book is not. It's not a pulse-pounding, emotionally charged, toe-curling, edge of your seat book of romance stories. But then again, it's not supposed to be. What this book is, however, is a pack of 3 lighthearted, easy-to-read short romances set at Christmas time. It's almost like a Hallmark movie in book form. Each of the three stories features a closed-door romance, only a small amount of kissing and nothing else, between a likable hero and heroine that all end with happily ever afters. In addition to the Christmas, specifically mistletoe, theme; they also all share the idea of long-distances relationships or of one person needing to change their life to make things work. It's just gentle, feel-good fun. If you're looking for intricate plots with lots of character development, this isn't it; but if you want a quick holiday read with a little bit of faith elements thrown in, this is for you.
