I really enjoyed this book and was sorry when I reached the end. Very well written, the characters are well developed but they have some element of mystery to them. You found yourself wanting more. The story starts with an event that immediately gets your attentions. There are a few twists. I actually was surprised who was ultimately the murderer. I'll definitely want to read more from this author.

Heart wrenching story of the lost children of Ireland. Children who were sold by the Catholic church. A good read.

Thank you to Netgalley for an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

A very well-written book on a very difficult subject. I am personally just writing a section on the origins of the Magdale Asylums (as they were originally called) This book is a must read. Recommended. reading.

This is a very well-researched and well-written book about a topic that interests me. I read and write about birthmothers, adoptees and adoption often. This was interesting and a new take on the story of young women being forced to place their children for adoption. Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.
