This is a very helpful book for taking crochet to the next level. I appreciated how the different designs incorporated step-by-step instructions. Thank you to Melissa Leapman, Quarry Books, and Netgalley for a free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

After reading Essential Crochet Starter Stitches, I think this book is a terrific follow-up. More of what made the first book such a good resource - with even more stitches that I have never encountered before but cannot wait to try. I am especially intrigued by some of the textured stitches ( hello, cable stitches!). Thank you, NetGalley and Quarto Publishing, for a copy of this book which I know I will be turning to time and time again for reference.

As a beginner crochet artist looks to expand their skills and looks at more complicated patterns, this book is an invaluable resource. I'm teaching several classes and my students are now ready to expand their skills. Melissa Leapman has given clear guidance in an easy to follow format. The stitches can be combined in any manner to create beautiful mementoes for friends and family

This is a wonderful reference and I'm so excited to use it more in my winter crocheting! Readable, understandable, and gave me the confidence to try them. Thank you for all of the work that went into it!

Love this, really liked the both the written and visual instructions an excellent advance on the Leapman's Essential 'Crochet Starter Stitches'.
Would 100% buy this as a quick reference.

While reading through Melissa Leapman's Essential Crochet Next Level Stitches I found that the instructions and crochet charts were easy to follow. There are several stitches that I hadn't come across before, but am excited to try.
This book will become part of my crochet book collection once released.

I found the diagrams in this book to extremely clear and helpful! It made learning some more intermediate and difficult stitches very easy. I'd absolutely recommend this book for anyone who is looking to learn more about crocheting.

After reading Essential Crochet Starter Stitches, I received an e-ARC of Essential Crochet Next-Level Stitches! As a beginner in crochet, it’s wonderful to have this follow-up guide to help me advance my skills.
Like the first book in this series, Next-Level Stitches is beautifully laid out, easy to navigate, and organized to help you find exactly what you need. The instructions are clear, and the accompanying images make each technique easy to follow. Covering textures, colourwork, and fancy edgings, this book is a fantastic resource for crocheters looking to take their skills to the next level.

**Review of *Essential Crochet Next-Level Stitches***
*Essential Crochet Next-Level Stitches* is an awesome book for anyone ready to take their crochet skills up a notch. It picks up where the basics leave off, introducing a bunch of cool advanced stitches and techniques that will really get you inspired.
The instructions are super clear, and the illustrations make it easy to learn new stitches without getting overwhelmed. This book is perfect for building your confidence as you try out more challenging projects.
What I really love is how it sparks creativity! You’ll find fun projects that let you show off your new skills, whether you’re making a stylish shawl or a cozy blanket.
Overall, *Essential Crochet Next-Level Stitches* is great for crocheters looking to level up. It’s all about expanding your skills and discovering new possibilities in your crochet journey!

I also received the arc for the first book in this series and was impressed and I feel the same in regards to this one. I'm not a newby to crochet so I am confident to learn new stitches. Many of the stitches I either knew or was familiar with, however, it did help improve my skills with some of the lesser known stiitches. I did expect that. I like the lay out of the book, the pictures and the descriptions of the stitches and patterns.

Gorgeous and aesthetically pleasing book of advanced crochet stitches. Love the formatting & the pictures. I like the way there are graphs and instructions. I think that the beginner stitches in the back is a great addition.

I wish I had this book sooner! It has a wonderful array of crochet stitches with straightforward instructions and wonderful illustrations. I am going to have trouble picking a stitch to use for my next project!

As someone new to crochet, this was very helpful in learning new styles to add to my basic skills. Looking forward to getting these stitches in future projects and adding borders to some existing blankets.

I love the stitches in this book. I’ve read from this author before and loved her previous work. Easy instructions with pictures to help demonstrate how the stitches work.

hank you NetGalley & publisher for this ebook!
I’ve been crocheting for about two years and I found this book so helpful! I have been wanting to learn more than single or double crochet and I really liked that there is written instructions and the stitch diagram, I’m still learning to read patterns like that and it helps to have it written out as well. The book is beautifully put together, there are so many fun new stitches I can’t wait to try. I will be getting myself a physical copy of this book to keep on hand in my craft room.

"Essential Crochet Next-Level Stitches" is a fantastic little companion for any crocheter looking to expand their stitching skills! This book showcases 100 beautiful advanced stitch patterns in a format that's easy to follow. Each pattern comes with a clear photo, written instructions, and stitch diagrams, so you can learn whatever way works best for you.
The book is organized neatly into three sections: textured patterns (including some beautiful faux cables!), colourwork, and classy edgings that'll give your projects a professional finish. What makes it special is how it manages to make complex-looking stitches feel achievable, whether you're a beginner who's mastered the basics or an experienced crocheter seeking fresh inspiration.
The resource section at the back is like having a mini crochet mentor, complete with tips on how to read charts, and working with colour. If you're ready to level up your crochet game and add some wow to your projects, this book is worth adding to your crafting library.

I read Essential Crochet Next Level Stitches after reading the author’s previous crochet book geared more towards beginners. This book is definitely geared towards a more intermediate crafter. It includes a huge assortment of stitches along with photos and instructions. With these more intricate stitches it is helpful to have stitch guides in addition to the picture. I really enjoyed the stitch patters that incorporate multiple colors. The stitches in this book could be used for a variety of projects. I also love the inclusion of edging stitches. There is also a great resource section at the end of the book. This is a great book, and while I believe it is more geared towards those who have been crocheting for a while, it would also be good for those starting out as well. I would recommend this book.

I really like this book as extention to the one for starters! It really is a bit more complicated and you need a bit of practice to get into the stitches explained in this book but everything is very well explained and you can always check the pictures if you're crochet project looks like the picture. Really like it.

it has been four months since i started crocheting and this one… the title didn’t lie, next-level stitches !!! it contains images, graphics and written patterns PLUS there’s a whole chapter explaining how to do all the stitches and you can visualize how to do with all the images.
i’m mostly excited to do the waffle stitch (it’s actually one of my goals), textured lattice, woven lattice and both basketweave THEYRE ALL SO PRETTY but the interlocked diamonds?? I NEED TO DO IT.
highly recommend this one for the intermediate to advance crocheters !
thank you netgalley, quarry books and melissa leapman for the arc !!

Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for an electronic copy to read in exchange for an honest review.
As someone who is comfortable with crochet this book is a great way to increase my skill set. The pictures, diagrams, and illustrations are all fantastic. They are very clear and easy to follow. I really appreciate having the formula for starting chains. It allows so much flexibility rather than having a specific pattern/finished size to follow.
