Pretty disappointed.

Considering the subject matter, there is a) a lot to write about and b) the day to day events can be fascinating.

Unfortuately neither of these things happened. What we got was a story told, almost in a monotone. This tone was throughout the book. Pace was a huge issue as well.

I was hooked to Miranda's story from the first chapter. It truly is an ode to her past self. She was not condemning stripping, nor was she singing it's hight praise. It was an means to an end that she was lucky to have her best friend next to her almost every step of the way.

Wow! Just wow! What a courageous woman. I absolutely love her will and determination to survive! This book is amazing, and I applaud the author!

Interesting read. Admire the mother/son aspect here. It is definitely a very interesting read. I can definitely admire the fight for survival aspect.
