📚 Book Review 📚

This is a collection of short stories, some fictional and some autobiographical. Some are erotic with a bit of spice, others are ironic or funny.

Some of the stories are really good, such as The Sandman, others not so much. Although I enjoyed the short story layout and the fact that the stories are easy to pick up and put down, none of them really stood out for me. I wanted to read them all but they are not tales that will stay with me. Still worth a read though.

Yeesh. It pains me to write a bad review without providing any constructive feedback, but this one was rough. It's very repetitive (How many times in a short book can you say 'public mound/pubic hair', and 'proud breasts'?? Apparently 49, and 17 respectively) From the title I was expecting a collection of stories about the questionable decisions you make as a twenty-something, but this was just a gross collection of stories primarily about Asian prostitutes. A couple of choice phrases (rock-like cock was repeated several times, as was 'love tunnel') gave it a feel like it was written by a 17-year-old virgin with who watches porn but has never had any experience with another human. There was just absolutely nothing sexy about this at all.

Didn't enjoy this one as much as I wanted to. The tales were not connecting with me. It's good there is a variety though. Thanks to NetGalley for the copy.

Just a bunch of very odd stories all slapped into one book. Some I liked but most had no point and were weird.
