“The Spy” is an unusual anecdote about a cleaner in a post office, most of which actually occurred. “Murphy’s Choice” delves into the drama that unfolds when a man is simultaneously in love with two women while “Marilyn At Midnight” is an imaginary look at Marilyn Monroe in the digital age. “Recycling is an invented fable with a twist at the end.

The other missives are fabrications ranging from the erotic to grunge.

These tales run the full gamut, from the graphically erotic to the outright bizarre. Does age affect our attitudes to eroticism and what we regard as strange?
