Snowbound in Montana is the story of Eliza who escapes her ex and her day-to-day life to join a skiing tour with the kind and handsome Marshall. Unfortunately, her tour group end up stuck in a cabin together after a blizzard snows them in.
This was a nice snowy romance, although I felt the pacing was off in the book a little. Some of the story and the romance felt very slow and then it sped up right at the end which then felt a little rushed compared to the rest of the story. Still, I enjoyed reading this romance - the setting was lovely and it's a good book for the cosy afternoon's read.
Nice characters and a lovely romance, but strange pacing in the story. 3 stars.
Book 4 in series, completely works as a stand alone
I loved the whole snowed in at the lodge plot, but there was zero chemistry between Eliza and Marshall.
There were also a lot of characters and it was hard to keep straight. I should have written them down.
Kevin was my favorite thing about the book ;)
I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I liked that this was a story that happened around the festive period. Although this book is part of a series, this book very much felt like it could be read as a stand alone story and did not add anything that i could see to the previous books.
Eliza Bramble came to Marietta in order to get over a heart break two years ago and now her past is trying to get back in touch with her. In order to escape him she signs up for a holiday at a remote lodge for the christmas period.
Marshall is in charge of the trip and falls for Eliza and her ways as well as her looks. He's a very sweet man with a little inferiority complex as he wonders why no woman has snapped him up yet.
Its a very sweet read, for those of you that like a VERY slow build this is for you and it only has a little kissing right at the very end.
This was a sweet Christmas-time romance. Trying to avoid a head-on encounter with an ex, Eliza is off to a skiing trip, which by chance becomes a situation where the travellers are locked away in the lodge by the unforgiving snow. With little supplies on hand and mounting tension between each other, this is as much a story of survival as it is of finding love. A very nice read.
This is a nice addition to the Carrigan book series. I enjoyed the story and the main characters interactions, as well as the other characters in this novella. Only one thing bothered me and that is that some events are out of sync. For example, #4 Snowbound in Montana is supposed to be read before #5 A Cowgirl’s Christmas yet Callan and her sisters don’t read their mom’s diaries until #5 but have already read them at the end of #4. Since my copy was an ARC copy, I’m hoping the author fixed that error prior to publication.
