When I requested this book, I didn't realize it was #3 in the series. Now while that definitely would've made be enjoy the book more, I don't think it really hindered my ability to understand what was going on. The author makes this a great standalone book. I love the couple and their chemistry with each other. the banter was great!

In my opinion, this is the best book of the series. I loved Faithful!

Imogene is such a great character. I love how she is such a smart alec and you just can’t help but love her and connect with her. Her swearing backward and humor are top-notch.

Cooper is a doll. He is so sweet and doesn’t take any nonsense which I appreciate. The chemistry between the two of them was magnetic and so fun. I love how their relationship evolved and it proved you should never give up.

Character development and plot are superb

I have loved this series and can’t wait to read book 4.

Thank you, NetGalley for the privilege of receiving an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I probably should have read the other books in the series first, but it didn't stop me from tackling this novel! It had a great set up, and I enjoyed seeing the characters grow closer. The hero was hot and swoony.

I have read a few books by S.A. Wolfe and I have enjoyed her writing. Will admit that I did not appreciate this one as much as others.

Cooper and Imogene are great together. Not always easy but love finally triumph. Family, friendship and laughs all mixed up

I feel like this was a case of just bad timing. I'm a mood reader and had this ARC sitting on my galley for a hot minute solely because I just wasn't ready to read this type of novel. However, like the dumb dumb I am--I forced myself. Wrong move. I was really interested in the synopsis and the plot was intriguing from the get go; however, I just could not for the life of me connect with the characters. Because of my lack of connection, I found myself getting really annoyed with the main character Imogene, and felt like she was being more rude than the sassy trait I felt like the author was going for.So that I wouldn't ruin the rest of the book, I decided to stop and DNF at 20%. I didn't want to continue reading, when I clearly knew that this just wasn't the time for me to read this novel.

This was an unexpected gem with some quirky characters and witty banter. I enjoyed the characters romantic dance and the main character, Imogene's attempts to stop swearing by saying those words backwards. I will go back & read the other books in the series!!

One word to sum up S. A. Wolfe’s book Faithful - Delightful! Imogene is a snarky, bad attitude woman I can relate to. Imogene can’t help but be a bad waitress, she hates the job and she hates her customers, especially Cooper. While Cooper is trying his best to woo her, Imogene throws enough one liners that any man should be down. But not Cooper. And he helps her home after a little too much “fun”, Imogene begins to find herself changing her opinion of the man she refers to as Viking. As Imogene’s heart begins to thaw, just a little she decides being friends may not be enough.
Go ahead, dive in to Faithfull, you will catch yourself laughing out loud.

This is a cute and funny story of a tough talking waitress that has never had a successful relationship and doesn't want one and a gorgeous Ex-FBI agent that every women in town wants to be with. Imogene Walsh is meaner than a snake to Cooper MacKenzie, but that only fuels his desire to get close to her. Imogene wants nothing to do with Cooper though he is sweet as molasses to her. If your looking for a lighthearted, funny read, this is it.
I enjoyed the book and recommend it.

I hadn’t read any other books in this series (this is the 3rd) but Faithful can be read as a standalone. There was definitely enough backstory for me to understand where the previous characters had come from, which I appreciated.

The good. Cooper is pretty much the sweetest man in the world. It’s clear fairly early on that he has a secret, and when you finally figure out what it is it breaks your heart just a little bit. He’s sexy and a little rough around the edges but he has a heart of gold, which I really enjoyed.

The bad. A lot of people saw Imogene as strong but I honestly felt like she was weak and hid behind her snark. He downright meanness towards Cooper actually really annoyed me and I wanted to smack her for being so bitchy.

Once Imogene’s walls come down it was a little easier to like her but not enough for this book to be knocked out of the park for me. I will say that it was a good read, just not one I’d stay up all night for. The end, though, was really wonderful and definitely was the cherry on top.

Sexy and fun, this book would make a great beach read this summer!

I had no idea this was actually the third book in the series, but after reading this book I definitely will go back and read the other two books. I have to start off by saying I absolutely loved Cooper; he is definitely determined. I ended up liking Imogene but it definitely took some time to warm up to her character. She made me laugh out loud more than a few times but other times she was annoying, mean and down right over dramatic. The chemistry between her and Cooper was undeniable and their story was one that was entertaining to say the least. The ending was sweet and I definitely look forward to reading not only the first two books in this series but trying other books from this author. Would I recommend it? Yes. It's a great standalone read.

Faithful is book #3 in the Fearsome series written by S.A. Wolfe and falls under the genre of Contemporary Romance.

Imogene Walsh lives in the small town of Hera, New York where she waits tables at her family's diner by day and creates and sells unique jewelry with her best friend Lauren, by night...and any other spare time she can get. Cooper Mackenzie moved to Hera, New York after a short career with the FBI for reasons unknown to Imogene and the rest of the town. Imogene can pretend all she wants that she doesn't find Cooper insanely attractive and a little bit mysterious but it's quite obvious to everyone around her, including Cooper. Cooper has no problem showing his interest in Imogene, but is still always respecting her space and keeping his distance.

After a stolen kiss on Imogene's part--after one too many drinks according to her--in a garden maze at a friend's wedding, Cooper doesn't waste anymore time giving Imogene space because although she's denying that the kiss was a result of inebriation, it's clear she's into him too.

But Cooper can't seem to get passed the barrier she's putting up between them--because let's face it, she hasn't had the best of luck with men thus far. As their relationship evolves, Imogene finds that Cooper has put up barriers of his own, and she learns that there are a lot of things she doesn't know about the man shes finally opening up to...

This is the first book I have read by S.A. Wolfe and I thought it was written very well! I found that the relationship between Imogene and Cooper was pretty easygoing for a while, then finally at about 80% things started to get a little more interesting. Imogene is quirky and funny, and just a flat out honest character and I really liked that about her. Cooper is REALLY patient, lets just say that. I'm not sure how he stayed patient with Imogene for so long, most guys would have upped and left a long time ago. I also liked the town of Hera and the characters of those who lived there, especially Cooper and Imogene's circle of friends. I haven't read the previous two books in this series, which are about those friends, but from reading this book there were snippets of what happened in the past and it makes me think I'll be picking those ones up one of these days ;)

I was happy there was no insta-love, it was sort of a slow building romance, maybe a little too slow? Everything did seem a little perfect and then finally Cooper has a flaw! I was relieved at that because this is where things began to become interesting. This did take me a little while to finish, it was hard at times to stay fully interested because I wasn't sure where the story was going, but I'm glad I finished it because I ended up finding a new author that I'll be reading more books from in the future!

This book is about Imogene and Cooper. Imogene, a small town girl who is yet to recover from her previous heartbreak and Cooper, a former FBI agent who is waiting for more than a year to get Imogene's attention. This story is how both of them come together, how each one of them rose above their fears and move on. Its a good book. The conversation among the characters is entertaining. I will recommend this to the readers who likes light reads. I received the ARC of this book for free in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

I know I’m in the minority here but this book really didn’t work for me. I like a little sass and spunk with my heroines but Imogene was just a rude a-hole. I can’t imagine any guy trying to deal with this mess. I loved Cooper but all I kept thinking while reading this was that he deserved better. He was so nice and sweet and was constantly trying to win Imogene over and she was just so damn jaded. And I don’t even get why. She talks about these wankers that she’s dated but it’s never explained how that made her into the bitter nasty person she is when we meet her. When she finally gets together with Cooper, everything seemed so rushed. We’re in her head heading her complain about every little thing so much that when she finally realizes she’s in love with Coop, it’s a little outta left field.

This is a stand-alone in a series that can be read individually but maybe if I was introduced to her before we were in her head, maybe I wouldn’t want to smack the crap outta her.

A big thank you to NetGalley for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. First time reading this author. I didn't notice that this was number three in a series,. It reads great as a stand alone. I truly enjoyed this book. It felt real. The characters don't just jump into bed, they actually get to know each other and spend some quality time together before having sex!!! They aren't perfect, and have issues, and heartache.. Imogene is a strong outspoken crazy woman, and Cooper understands her and likes her anyway. Fun read. I think most romance readers would like this.

I fell in love with Cooper and Imogene. These quick witted, playful, fun loving singles meet at a time when Cooper is ready for forever and Imogene thought she had found forever. Cooper is new to the small town Imogene lives and works in but once meeting Imogene he hopes he can find his forever with her. Imogene puts up one hell of a fight to keep Cooper at arms length but eventually finds it in her heart to open up to the possibility of love. This is a must read and one that will keep you turning the pages hoping for a happily ever after.

I absolutely love this series! What I love the most is that each book is a standalone. I was so excited to see it was available to request this title! The cover is astounding, and I feel like she is staring straight into my soul! I could never get enough of Lauren and Imogene! They are what friendship goals should be modeled after! Ohh Cooper! Thanks for being my latest book boyfriend!!!

I highly recommend this book and series to everyone who loves Contemporary and New Adult romance novels! Even though these are NOT anywhere close to my favorite genres!

Captivating from beginning to end! I could not put this book down! This had everything that you look for in a romance novel! The characters, the development of the story was fantastic. A definite must read in my opinion. Well done S. A. Wolfe!

This book kept me chuckling. The main character is sassy and prickly and I genuinely like her. I can connect with her on a deep level as someone who is also searching for that "break" as an adult. I admire the persistence of Cooper, and while the lovey dovey ness of their friends is a little saccharine, it's a "nice" book. That being said, there's no wow, no omg I want more. It's simply nice, easy reading, predictable, I know without even finishing past halfway what's likely to happen, and that's not necessarily a bad thing. Not a "bestseller" or "page turner" but it will keep you occupied for a couple of hours.

This is the third book in the Fearsome series by S.A. Wolfe. It can be read as a standalone though. S.A. Wolfe does a great job with making you feel like you already know everyone instead of having missed out on something if you haven't read the previous books.

Imogene and her best friend are working at the family diner while they are trying to stat a business together. They just can't seem to get the business off the ground so they are sort of stuck in limbo right now. Imogene has a bad taste in her mouth for relationships because her last boyfriend just up and left with no explanation as to why. Imogene has sort of given up on meeting anyone new because she lives in a small town that doesn't get too many visitors. Just the same old people all the time.

When Cooper moved to the town about a year ago, Imogene never could quiet carry on a conversation with him. Although every other guy has been scared off by Imogene and her harsh way of talking to men, Cooper has stuck his ground. Imogene doesn't scare him. Cooper was in the FBI for 6 years and has recently come back to do some undercover work. When his work is done though, he has been offered a job in town and decides to stick around.

Cooper and Imogene strike up a relationship that is one all it's own. I have to hand it to Cooper for sticking around with Imogene and her reputation. Poor guy! He has patience with her though. Will Cooper finally succeed with Imogene or will he still be like all the other men to Imogene? You will have to read to find out. This is one that you will not want to put down. I am excited about the other books in this series!
