This Webtoon turned Graphic Novel follows the zombie girl Zom and her friends navigating their lives. These stories are solely told through the artwork.
The art style is beautiful and cute, and the stories themselves were hilarious and cute.
Thank you, Andrews McMeel Publishing, for providing me with this book to review via NetGalley. All opinions are my own.

It was harmlessly okay. The art is cute and clean, but it overall definitely really works as a once-a-week read as intended as the jokes are cute when it lands, but meh when it doesn't in small quantities, though.

This novel was a nice change from a lot of other books I read. I was surprised that there weren’t any words but it was fun to see how the story would play out by examining the scenes. I liked the art style throughout this book and loved that it was in color! I would read more from this author!

I used to read this series a long time ago on WEBTOON and was pleased to see this book. The reader can still understand each comic despite the lack of dialogue. This was lighthearted and humorous. I recommend this for anyone who enjoys creature features and wants to read something fun.

Like reading a little webcomic in print, only there's very little to "read."
Thank you to #NetGalley and Andrew McNeel Publishing for providing me with a copy in exchange for my review.
I honestly didn't know these characters had names until I finished the book and got to the back cover in my digital copy, but I didn't need that information to enjoy what I did out of this collection. These comics are fun, cute and light hearted. I love seeing a mix of fantastical characters and the highlights of how their existence could bring some levity to the day to day lives of those unfamiliar. Truly my only issue and it's not even a big deal is that the panels for each comic start on the right page and cause you to flip the page to see the ending. With these 4-5 panel enclosed stories it would be great to see the whole thing side by side together.

AXED and ZomCom were one of my favorite webtoons when i was younger so maybe i'm biased but this was such a cute and quick read!! and also hilarious. my one complaint is that the switches between "stories" is a bit too sudden at first, like when a new one begins it's like a "oh okay we're doing this now" moment, but you get used to it. the characters are cute and the plot lines really funny, definitely recommend!

Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and NetGalley for an advanced reader copy in exchange for my honest review!
ZomCom'ics by Emi Mena Garrucho is a heartwarmingly funny graphic novel filled with funny jokes and a variety of paranormal characters. I loved the short comics and seeing the characters' day-to-day lives. This book highlights a lot of the small moments of everyday life and twists it into a paranormal context. Vampires getting lost in a mirror maze, werewolves stretching out tight t-shirts, and zombies competing in arm-wrestling tournaments were a few of my favorite moments. ZomCom'ics is a quick read that I can assure you will get you out of a reading slump! I would rate this novel 4 stars out of 5 and highly recommend others to read it!

Such a fun book to read, I finished it in one sitting. It's so relatable and I really enjoyed it overall.

Thank you to Andrews McMeel Publishing and Netgalley for the opportunity to read and review this graphic novel. This one has beautiful art, but otherwise, I don't know the point of it, hahaha. It is beautiful, though. Because of these points, I have to give this 4 out of 5 stars.

The art style of this Graphic Novel is top tier! The illustrations are beautiful, cute, and funny! I absolutely loved the combination of mythical creatures throughout the novel! This graphic novel contains no words, and it doesn’t need them! The emotions and stories conveyed through the artists skills are perfectly executed! Five out of five stars!

1.5 stars | Cozy adventures + found family + wholesome characters

I love silent graphic novels, and this one is both charming and delightfully spooky. There are no words, yet the artist effortlessly conveys that these are fun, everyday moments in the characters’ lives. As a big fan of the slice-of-life genre, I appreciate how each comic is its own self-contained moment—it feels like peeking into dozens of mini adventures. Sometimes, you just want to enjoy something fun without overthinking it. This is a wonderful palate cleanser.
The tone shifts between funny and heartwarming to eerie and mischievous. Making for a uniquely engaging read! The art style is simple but incredibly detailed and cute, adding so much personality to each scene. It’s such a delightful pick-me-up comic! Perfect for anyone looking for a light, quirky, and supernatural graphic novel!

If I could vaguely describe this comic, it would be “pick-me-up.” So adorable, and hilarious.
From summary: Zom is just your average everyday zombie girl. Enjoy this laugh-out-loud, wordless comic collection, which follows the everyday adventures of Zom, a zombie girl; Ari, a resident vampire; and Theo, a lovable werewolf.
Zom and her fantastical friends navigate everything from dating to beach trips to roommate spats in a colorful, engaging world full of ghouls, skeletons, and ghosts. This silent graphic novels takes full advantage of the illustrated format and shows the hearts (literally, in some cases) at the core of even the spookiest monsters. ZomCom’ics is great for anyone who likes spooky, funny, and relatable stories.
My thoughts:
I had the absolute best time while reading. I giggled, I chuckled, and I laughed my ass off, and I smiled the whole time. The play on Scrooge strip was amazing. I wish this had dialogue (because it would be even more perfect), but even without, the execution and illustrations were amazing. I love that this wordless comic is accessible to everyone.
This was my first comic from this author, but it will definitely not be my last read from her. Kudos on this brilliant release.
I’m so sad this is over, but I will definitely be purchasing for days I need a pick-me-up.
Huge thanks to NetGalley and Andrews McMeel Publishing for allowing me to read this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Summary:
Zom, Theo, and Arianna are three totally normal roommates. They definitely aren't a zombie, werewolf, and vampire. Okay, they are. But they have normal adventures, such as dating, food cravings, and wardrobe drama.
ZomCom'ics is a collection of slide-of-life style comics originally available on Tapas and Webtoon under the title ZomCom.
Review:
I couldn't have been happier to learn that ZomCom was getting published! ZomCom'ics collects over 200 pages of this comic collection, and I have to say - rereading it was an absolute delight.
ZomCom'ics is a slice-of-life webcomic largely told in nonverbal form. Each scene follows one (or all) of the characters as they go through their daily lives, with a slight paranormal twist.
I cannot stress enough how endearing and funny this comic series is. I used to read it on Tapas all the time, and frankly, I've always believed that it deserves more attention. So many of the pages made me burst out laughing, even the second time around!
Despite not talking all that much, it's easy to get attached to this band of odd little characters. Zom may have the funny bone of the group (when she hasn't lost her arm), but I feel like Theo is the heart and Arrianna is the brain. In short, they're a great group. Other characters make appearances to help round out the whole paranormal front.

Quite funny even though I didn't understand all the jokes. The format with no dialogues or anything written made it easy to read at the end of the day.
The main characters are 3 people living together who might be flatmates or might all be in a romantic relationship, who knows, I liked to read them as a polycule.

ZomCom’ics is a delightful and humorous collection of comics that will leave you smiling. Emi Mena Garrucho’s illustrations are not only visually appealing but also bring to life the endearing characters of Zom, Ari, and Theo. The wordless format allows the reader to interpret and enjoy the story in their own way, making it a fun and relatable read. The dynamic between the characters is sweet and engaging, making this graphic novel a great choice for anyone looking for a lighthearted, entertaining experience. Overall, it’s a quick and enjoyable read that’s perfect for fans of cute and funny comics.

This was so cute! I needed a bit of a palate cleanser between heavy reads and this was just very lighthearted and wholesome and all about friendship.
While I would have loved a bit more connection (this is just single stories, nothing really interconnecting) between everything, I think this format was especially nice to pick up when you don't know what you're in the mood for, just that you want to have a good time.
Really cool art style as well! Reminded me a bit of 90s Nickelodeon cartoons (in the best of ways).

** received a e-copy from NetGalley - honest review **
Important aspect to refer is that this is the type of art I love, kinda bubbly and colorful so of course it already made my review quite positive.
Even though it is a "silent" graphic novel, you can grasp what each "story" whishes to say/ intents to transmit to the reader.
I indeed enjoyed it and was entertained whilst passing through each page, each drawing.
Allow me to suggest to put an uplifting ambiance audio in the background when you pick this graphic novel up, will make your experience even better 😉

A collection of silent comics starringa zombie, a werewolf, and a vampire - and their everyday adventures!
Really cute comic - I love the artwork and so many of the comics really did make me laugh! I would have loved a story between these three, but a humorous glimpse into their everyday lives was just as fun! If you like pretty artwork and fun hijinks, this is for you!

This was a fun collection of silent comics. The art style is cute and definitely worked for me. Unfortunately, a few of the comics didn't quite make sense and would have benefited from having words.
