You know those fantasy novels that are worth a spare notebook because annotating inside the book might ruin it for your friends, but you need the notesfor yourself? This is one of them. And I do not necessarily mean that in a good or bad way.
Faeries Don't Forgive is, I feel, a very well done High Fantasy novel that hits world building and adventure hard. There's a lot of different fae and dynamics worth keeping track of in one medium paced book. I appreciate the way romance felt very back burner in this. I feel that it's going to grasp more people's attention in a way similar to that of The Cruel Prince.
With have read the first book right before diving into this one, I had hoped some of the confusion that sometimes comes with famtasy books could have been avoided, but there were times where I found myself feeling as though I was trudging through to understand things or having to go back and forth between a couple of chapters to get quick reminders. However, that could be more of a me issue than a book issue. I feel those things come very naturally with high fantasy and sometimes some series click faster than others. Unfortunately, this wasn't that series for me. I do think there is going to be a great audience for book 2, but I will admit, I did enjoy Faeries Don't Lie more than I did Faeries Don't Forgive.

Faeries Don't Forgive by TF Burke is such a good book. I totally recommend everyone to read this book as fast as they can because it's really good and the characters are fantastic.

Thank you to NetGalley and Sylvan Sword Press for the E-arc of Faeries Don't Forgive by TF Burke. This is my honest opinion of the book;
I enjoyed this book more than the first book. The book leaned more to fantasy than romance which I loved. The story was plot driven, medium paced. Though sometimes it got a bit confusing. There were so many different types of fae. It made the read very interesting. The chemistry between Aunia and Matthias was so heart wrenching.
My favorite part of the book was the climax and ending though. It was literally mind boggling.. it makes me wish I could read the next book write away.
