Although this book took an unexpected turn (I was expecting a standard crime novel but it also involves paranormal happenings) I did still enjoy it. When I realised what was happening it was interesting to witness Carrie's encounters with people from her past and the gradual unravelling of what had happened to Ben. However as the book drew to a close it left far too many unanswered questions for me.
Spoiler Alert:

Was John a good guy or a controlling stalker? What happened to the police officer? I also felt that the story of Carrie's earlier baby wasn't fully rounded out? My main bugbear was the lack of information about the bad guy however, it just seemed to be tagged on at the end as an after thought. A good read let down by too many loose ends.

When a mother leaves her child for a few moments to pay for parking, she gets back to the car and her child is gone.
It was a little difficult to follow sometimes, but was an interesting story.

This book is a parents nightmare, you turn for a few seconds and your child disappears. What do you do when that child reappears years later the same age as when they disappeared? That is what Carrie Morgan struggles with when it happens to her.

I had a hard time deciding how I felt about this book. Sometimes I hated it and sometimes I thought it was phenomenal. It is very rare for me not to have a clear opinion about a book!

This book had its cons:I felt like there were some unlikeable characters and some weak spots in the book. I am also still not sure of how I feel about the ending.

The Pro's: The book keeps you reading because you want to know what happens, you can't help but get drawn in by Carrie, the grieving mother and you will definitely feel emotional while reading it.
