'The Coaching Habit: Say Less, Ask More & Change the Way You Lead Forever' by Michael Bungay Stanier is a quick enough business read, which based on the content is a good thing.

I read quite a few business books. Occasionally, I run across some new ideas, but mostly the content is similar to other things I've read. That goes for 'The Coaching Habit' which excels at concise, motivational writing. The content is fired at the reader at a pretty good pace. It is broken up by clever typefacing. Mostly clever. Some of the fonts were a bit on the large size, so I felt like I was being shouted at, but maybe that's what I need some times.

The content is about questions to ask for coaching. There are seven magic questions presented here, which I won't give you. Ideally, you want to ask open questions, then wait for answers to appear. It's good advice, and definitely the kind of thing I needed to hear. I liked the style, the brevity, and the reading list for further study. This content is hardly groundbreaking, but the style is enthusiastic and infectious to read, and I had a good time reading it.
