This is one I could not get into. I've enjoyed Jane Porter in the past, but for some reason I did not enjoy this story. I did not finish this book despite trying a couple of times.

I have enjoyed the book, it has everything you could want in a story I would recommend anyone to read this book as I know they will enjoy it just like I did.

Ava, principal Ballerina in New York but after her bad car accident, she wasn't who she was any more. She is struggling to live with physical pain and lost of memories hunted her. She couldn't function without a notebook where she keeps record of all her activities.
She doesn't remember she was married to Scottish tycoon Malcolm. She remembers bit and pieces of night of accident but she can't really pinpoint what went wrong.
Malcolm has been keeping a distance from Ava so she would regain her memory and doctors recommend that she goes back to life she remembers. In her vivid memory of Ava leaving her son in a busy mall and she feels responsible for that accident and she is afraid she will repeat.
Malcolm couldn't wait for Ava back his life and his sons's life but Ava won't give in easy. Her life in New York was carefully orchestrated by Malcolm but she didn't know. When he offers a vacation with her, she hesitantly accepts.
While they were in Vacationing in warmer climate, Malcolm is slowly trying to win her back and bring the family back together. But their accident heavy in the air and every time they discuss that night, they run in circles. Both feeling guilty about that night and Ava can't keep her memories straight.
Will they finally find their happiness and become a family again??
It was great read about struggles and love.
