These are an excellent reference for upcoming books. It’s valuable to be able to sample a book before buying it and I find myself buying a lot more books because of it.
Not a book-book, but interesting to get a "first look" at what's coming from Buzz Books! I like that this was offered and I wish I'd spent more time with it, but I'm not mad about it at all. The excerpts had me hyped for the upcoming reads! Thank you for this offering! I hope there are more of these types of digital selections in the future! My daughter and I enjoyed reading the excerpts, so thank you for the mother-daughter bonding time for these two readers! I'm glad I requested this.
My gratitude to NetGalley and Publishers Lunch BUZZ BOOKS for access to this sneak peek of the Fall/Winter 2016 books!
These excerpts are such a great way to get an idea of what the buzziest books are like. It's nice to get a glimpse of a variety of different books to help when recommending to patrons.
This really isn't a book but a magazine. So no real way to give proper feedback to what is a catalogue.
It does have a wealth of selection to refer to in 2021. I have ordered a few of the books for the store and have enjoyed re-readinig many of them. It was a good memory to return to..
Found a few new authors to follow and keep up with. Over the years have found these books invaluable, saving time and pointing me to authors I enjoy. Many book jackets carry misleading synopsis but reading a real piece of the writers work gives you a better sense of their style.
Very informative read of the novels that came out in 2016. This serves as a go to guide of what to read so you don't miss out.
The seasonal Buzz Books are always incredibly helpful to me as a reader. It's a great overview of upcoming titles, and I always appreciate the blend of familiar names and debut authors. The excerpts are also a nice size, and allow you to get a good taste of the author's writing, hooking you just enough to leave you wanting more.
Wonderful! Great chance to try out some new stories and find new authors. These books full of excerpts are one of the best things about NetGalley!
I always forget to review these kind of preview titles! A great selection to help with my job as a school librarian.
This a good compilation and valuable resource. It's so helpful to have a guide to new releases.
I like to read the work of debut novelists, which aren't as well publicized as the books published by established authors.
So many great books to add to my TBR! I love these previews. It's a great way to get introduced to the new books that will be coming out soon!
This was super informative for me to look forward to upcoming books coming out in Fall/Winter. I appreciated being able to read snippets and learn more about what's coming up.
Great excerpts! What an interesting way to keep up with what is about to or has recently been published. This helped me immensely in sorting out which new books to put on my to-read list. Really on indispensable tool that everyone should take advantage of.
Usual format, and these collections never fail to offer something to intrigue.
A great starting point to dip into upcoming releases, and I really love the fact that links to NetGalley are highlighted if the extract gets you interested.
It was a quick list book. It was interesting but not what I expected. Some of the books I would read but others I will not.
I'm always looking forward to these Buzz Books excerpts.
Ones that stood out in this edition to me were:
The Couple Next Door by Shari Lapena
Where Am I Now by Mara Wilson
Christina's World by Christina Baker
Thank you for sharing this sampler. I found several stories that I am interested in. I will definitely be reading several of these novels!
I love these samplers and how great they are for readers looking for new authors and some good underrated books. I didn't find anything that I wanted to continue reading but I love the idea of these and will continue to request.
The Buzz Books publication is always a great way to add titles to my "to-read" pile & get inspired to read more new releases. Full disclaimer: I didn't read all the excerpts in this one. I picked a few and added my faves to my TBR.
