I found this book so enjoyable and want to add it to the collection. It’s witty enough for parents and I think still exciting enough for a young reader.

The dog and cat in this book are buddies that complement each other's characteristics, and children who read this book will learn some lessons, as well.

My kids really couldn't get into this odd little book. It's quite fantasy based and has an interesting tone, but it was a bit of a miss for our audience. Children who are starting to read short chapter books may enjoy this one. Each chapter is fairly short and easy to read.

This is a delightful short story collection of tales involving Purdy the cat and Barker the dog. The predictable chalk and cheese pairing combine for some funny and moving mini adventures. More please.
