Fans of Swedish noir will like this one for its twisty and atmospheric mystery. It's topical but the best part are the characters. A good read.

It was a good read, but I just couldn't connect to it.

I had a hard time with this book. I still can't find it on Goodreads at all, which is very odd. I reviewed it under a different book title by Camilla Lackberg called The Ice Princess. It's not a successful book. There are some good ideas here, good characters, and a twist I didn't expect. That said, it's a mess. Far too many plot points that are pointless (bad pun), far too many character POVs that aren't needed, and just poor editing in general. This felt like it was still a work in progress.
