I have always been a lousy knitter, but tried my best with the help of this book, I found the instructions hard to follow but that is probably because of my lack of previous knowledge. I have also always better in learning visually rather than reading instructions. I will try my best with a video from YouTube and then I will try again with this book I think.

This book did a great job of explaining the concepts . The author clearly explains how to accomplish each stitch. This is a good way for someone unable to attend a class on knitting to learn. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn how to knit.

Lovely, easy book perfect for a beginning knitter! The projects are very easy and this would be a great book to help teach a young knitter how to get started.

Easy, simple, and clear instructions for the beginning knitter. Photograph's of the project's help those that are "visual" learners. I've wanted to knit for a long time and get stuck on the basics- casting on/off. I am a visual learner, myself. This was easy to read and it's suitable for a much younger audience as well as though of us who sometimes, just don't "get it".
