Lots of good ideas, hints and tips in this book. I have always wanted to have a go a quilling and this book has given me the nudge I needed to give it a go!

The book has a lot of nice projects, that are easy to do for a beginner, but not too simplistic, so they might be appealing to the more experienced people. I liked that besides the usual flower galore, there were many other objects created, like vegetables and fruits, abstract decorations, animals and regular household objects, like garden tools, for example. The explanations are good, both on general techniques used, and for each of the projects. Most of the time you will need only the basic tools, like quilling tool, scissors, ruler and pins, but some ask for the use of some extras, like a fringing tool, for example. I liked that they also show other ways to use each of the quilling projects at the end of each step by step instructions.
