As a huge fan of art nouveau everything, I found this book very enjoyable and would be happy to have it gracing my bookshelves. Lots of lovely pictures too.

I can't imagine where else it would be possible to view these beautiful prints and to compare one with another. Their main interest is the architectural content but the prints themselves are of value as fin de siecle artifacts.

These beautiful plates feature wonderful aspects of this revolutionary architecture including Grand staircases, wrought iron balconies, ornate mantels and intricate storefronts. Bright colours, floral and insect motifs and fancy apartment facades are also shown.

Anyone interested in art and the Edwardian era will enjoy this book.
