This book held my attention from the beginning to end, and I had my heart in my throat through all of it. What could be wrong with Miranda’s mother, and yes I had my opinion, was I right?
We have a sweet romance going on, and loved the interaction between Miranda and Paul, almost to perfect, and we wait for the other shoe to drop.
I could almost see the pictures that Miranda was painting, and I can hardly draw a circle, what a gift she was given, and she inherited it from her mother, besides looking like her. Could just picture her as a little girl painting with her mother and grandfather, and yes there are a lot of beautiful word pictures in this book.
While both characters fight their demons, one struggles with his beliefs in God, and my mind said that they should not be unequally yoked. This book is going to make you think, and keep the tissues handy.
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Pelican Book Group, and was not required to give a positive review.
