Brandy Love is a divorced, single mom of 2 kids and business owner. She owns a gym. She is independent, smart and self-reliant. She has no time for dating between her kids, helping out her parents and her growing business.

Rick Morehouse is a former major league football quarterback who now coaches high school football. He is a confident, total flirt and player, used to getting what he wants using charm and his panty melting smile. He is not looking for a relationship and doesn’t date single moms - ever. His dad left when he was very young and his mom paraded a multitude of men in and out of his life. He won’t do that to any kid.

Rick and Brandy meet when he brings an injured player to her gym for some physical therapy. The chemistry and heat between these two is hot and intense and won’t be denied. They begin a no strings fling that they keep just to themselves. Neither one wants the press to discover it and scatter it all over the papers.

Rick finds himself wanting to become enmeshed in her life, kids and all. He wants to be there for her, ease her burdens however he can. Brandy finds her mind wandering to what if? When a huge misunderstanding rips them apart, they must decide whether it’s worth it to work it out.

Loved her group of friends. I liked that these two weren’t twenty somethings with minimal life experience. She’s 44 and he’s in his mid thirties, both secure in who they were.

This is a short read that contains romance, sex and real life situations. Good start to the series. I’m interested in who is in the next book and will we continue to see these characters develop.

This is my favorite Christmas story so far this year. These two authors had me at hello with Rick. Big, strong football coach, previously NFL player, charming and great with kids. Uh, yes please. Brandy, a 44 yr old divorced mom with kids who owns her own chain of fitness gyms.

I liked how these two interacted. You'll have to be patient at first. She isn't ready to date despite being divorced for 4 years and he doesn't date single moms because of his own experience with men coming and going when he was a kid. Obviously, these two have a bit of baggage, but it wasn't so bad it disrupted the story. It was more entertaining to see these two date without dating. Throw in the interactions with the kids and it's not hard to fall for this story.

I was pleasantly pleased with this story. Brandy is strong and wants to make her way. Rick is hot and knows what he wants. I thoroughly enjoyed his panty melting dirty alphaness and even was enchanted with the secondary characters. All in all a nice read.

This was a short, cute yet sexy Christmas story. The characters are older. Rick is about 34 and a retired NFL quarterback who coaches high school football. Brandy is 44 and owns a fitness cym. They meet when Rick brings in one of his players for rehab. The sparks fly but neither is eager to start a relationship. The agree to hookups but that soon changes. The winning point in this book for me was Rick. He was a great guy and I loved everything about him. both characters were real and believable. Nice holiday story.

This was a fun read- the characters were entertaining & the story was interesting. Rick & Brandy were both leading busy lives & not looking to fall in love but the book ended with their HEA- perfect for the Christmas season.

Nice book to curl up with on a snowy day. I always love a rugged man with a big heart that loves kids. I like stories where a woman with kids can find love again.

Rick Moorehouse is a former quarterback for the Houston Texans and is now coaching a high school football team. After his football career was over, Rick had many job offers but he chose coaching at the high school level because loves working with the young boys and making a difference in their lives. Rick is rich, good looking and one of Houston's most eligible bachelors. With all his success he is still a nice, down to earth guy with a heart of gold.

Brandy is a single mom and owns a popular and successful gym. Rick and Brandy meet when Rick starts working out at Brandy’s gym. Brandy declines Rick’s offer when he asks her out, even though she is attracted to him. Brandy is divorced and the mother of two and is too busy raising her kids and running her gym to have any time to date. She is happy with her life and proud of all she has accomplished.

I thoroughly enjoyed this fun, light, sexy read about two people who start a no strings relationship and find they want more. The characters are entertaining and the story put me in the holiday spirit. Rick is the perfect guy. He is a big, alpha male and yet he also has a sweet and vulnerable side. Brandy’s perfectly toned body turns Rick on from the moment he first sees her. They can't keep their hands off of each other, have a lot of fun together and are surprised when they find themselves falling in love.

This was a great sexy read, no loose ends and the story was will developed.

Brandy Love is a single mother raising two children and is the owner of a successful gym. She notices one of the sexiest bachelors in her establishment, and though she thinks he is very attractive she does not want to think about trying to go out with him. Just the thought is okay with her for now. Rick Morehouse a high school coach and ex pro quarterback met Brandy once when she asked for him to play Santa for the charity she was hosting in a few months, but now seeing her in her workout cloths and after yoga he is wanting to be with her. When a few weeks go by Brandy is locking up for the night and she hears water in the men’s locker room, she goes in to turn it off because she pays the bills. Thinking that everyone is gone only to find Rick standing there under the water and her eyes not being able to meet his. After her needs are met and he tells her she owes him they leave and the next Saturday she reciprocates. This starts just an every Saturday night hook up. That is until he finds out that she has children and that freaks him out. Getting past that his feelings of wanting to be with is new for him but he goes about it the wrong way. She does cut him some slack and just when it looks like it is going to work out another issue comes up with the press and he does not handle that very good, even though she is working to help. See if he will still be Santa or just get coal from Brandy. A good book.

Fun sexy and hot. Couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading more from this author.

Loved the hot read. Lotsoc chemistry. Brandy is a divorced single parent and business owner; she doesn't have time to date. Rick is a former pro football player turn high school coach who is very interested in dating Brandy. Loved how their casual relationship turned in a serious one with them both reassessing they former stance on serious relationships. Recommended read.

I really loved this book! It was well-paced and I was disappointed that the story ended when I read the last page. I have to admit that I wanted to read this ARC because I really love Renee Rose books and her name was associated with this, but I am delighted to find a new author to hunt for. It seems this may be the first romance book Ms. Roemer has written (per Goodreads) and I feel that if anyone can help guide a new romance author Renee Rose is perfect! I can't wait to read the next in this series collaborated by these two authors!
