Description
Two of Scottish romance’s most loved authors have joined pens to write a thrilling new time travel series filled with passion, danger, and intrigue. These never-before-published novels will sweep you to Scotland’s Highland Heatheredge, where magic is real, time is relevant, and there is no escape from desire…
Men are disappearing in the Highland crofting village of Heatheredge. The authorities suspect foul play, but without signs of violence—or bodies—they can’t prove a thing.
World champion swordsman Cailean Ross is living the fantasy of a lifetime as the victor of Heatheredge’s medieval reenactment Gathering. But when the fantasy turns into reality, swordplay becomes a fight to the death and he finds himself among the ‘missing’ statistics.
Julianna Mackay flees a man she fears is an evil wizard and literally runs into handsome Cailean Ross. Cailean defends Lady Julianna from her attackers. Together, they set out in search of the key to a six-hundred-year-old curse that can only be broken in medieval Scotland.
When the veil of time is lifted, Cailean and Julianna find that love may not be enough to save them or those they hold dear.

My Thoughts:
Two of my favorite authors have collaborated in writing this all consuming beginning of this new time travel series.
It really grabbed the interest of this reader. The only thing I didn't like was the cliffhanger ending. Now I have to wait to discover what happens next.
I could not put it down and finished it in a 24 hour period.
I would give this beginning of this new series 4.75 of 5 stars for characterization and storyline and 4 of 5 flames for heat. Once the hero and heroine come together the sparks really fly.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this book from the publisher via NetGalley to read and review. This in no way affected my opinion of this book.
Champion swordsman Cailean Ross is attending reenactment of a lifetime of Heatheredge’s medieval reenactment of the Gathering. His fantasy soon turns into reality when he’s taken back 600 years in time and he comes to the rescue and saves Julianna Mackay who’s fleeing a man she fears is an evil wizard. He soon realizes he has to fight to the death in order to survive. People have been disappearing in both worlds and Cailean finds himself among the ‘missing’ statistics. He knows if he ever wants to return home he must solve the mystery, try not to change history and not fall in love along the way with a beautiful Highland widow. A wonderful time travel with magic and a lovely romance.
I received an ARC copy from Net Galley in exchanged for my honest review and opinion.
'Edge of Yesterday' by Tarah Scott is book one in the " Edge' Series. This is the story of Cailean Ross and Julianna Mackay. This has time travel, a mystery and a very good love story. For me it has everything I enjoy in a romance. It was definitely one book you couldn't not put down and wanted to see what happens next. I thought also Cailean and Julianna were good main characters. There is a cliffhanger of sorts to set you up for the next book....which I can't wait to read!
"My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read."
