If you want to win, to have to be willing to make your own demands and outsmart the other.
Honest review in return for reading this ARC. I am going to keep this review short and to the point. Most women do not understand what they have available to them. This story allows an opportunity to delve into their own selves. Sensuality, as old as time and often undervalued.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed reading this sensual novella. It's sensuality without being overtly sexual is a rather refreshing concept.
Meretessa is the daughter of a wealthy merchant who finds the groom her father has chosen for her to be abhorrent. She decides to approach a man who has the reputation of being a connoisseur of women to teach her what it takes to make her future husband want her and for her to also enjoy the experience.
Nicolo finds his student a bit more enticing than he bargained for.
This is a quick read and I found Meretessa's innocence to be the catalyst in this story. The fact that she is a rather adept student makes this story go from unbelievable to a very enticing tale.
I gave this novella a 4.25 of 5 stars for storyline and characterization. The sensual rating gets 4.5 of 5 flames. It is a very sensual tale.
I received a complimentary digital ARC of this title from the publisher via NetGalley to read and review.
This in no way affected my opinion of this book.
certainly a unique plot. the writing was very good. Thanks!
Tessa decides to learn the art of seduction from Nicolo to please the husband her father chooses for her but gets more than she bargained for. This is a fast-paced historical read, the story is entertaining and has plenty of steam.
Shorter novel, very steamy!! Tessa believes in love, and passion, and is devastated when she finds her betrothed in the arms of another woman. She decides to ask Nicolo to train her in the art of love. Their romance actually is becomes very sweet, but still steamy!
