This is such a beautiful book. The illustrations are wonderful and the writing poetic. It teaches us that when you give your heart you can grow anything. It's a book I will read again and again. Thank you to NetGalley and Clavis Publishing for giving me a free copy of this wonderful book in exchange for an honest review.
I am enchanted by this picture book. The poetic tale is beautiful. The words on the pages are surround by captivating images that signify a nurturing assurance 'when you give love you can grow anything' and 'you are never alone'. All the while depicting, being patient and opening ones heart, to the inevitable cycle of life and loss.
I am totally in love with this book. I loved reading it to my children. This is a must have book to add to your children's library and to share with them over and over again.
An excellent book and resource for anyone needing a smile.
This is a beautiful picture book with many wonderful messages. It could become one of those books you go back to over and over as well as sharing with others. Books like The Giving Tree, Love You Forever, The Magic Paintbrush etc. Patience, love, beauty of the world and nature, traditions, sharing and so many more things are touched on. This is not a story I would read to young children, it seems to be more appropriate for junior ages (9 to 12). Every reader would take their own message from this book. A wonderful addition to school, public and family libraries.
